Great venue! We saw Jann Arden there last night, and were very impressed with the place as a whole. The seats are a good size, allowing for you to sit comfortably and not be impinged by your neighbour. Sight lines are excellent. The acoustics were good, for an arena. Service was excellent and friendly. Drink prices are a little high. My only real criticism was the poor entrance and exit procedure as they were funnelling people over two points, which slowed things down considerably and perhaps a tad dangerous. I haven’t attended a hockey game yet, as we just moved here, but I would hope they open more access points. We will definitely return.

We went for an Arkells concert. Clean facility, parking was close and affordable at $20 and drink prices were normal for a venue at $13 per drink. Fast entry, well lit and the staff were friendly.

Perfect sized venue to see a live show. Saw Brit Floyd last night and the acoustics were incredible! Great restaurants and pubs close by. Free parking up top on the streets on the weekends.

Fantastic venue in Niagara. Spacious seats and great views for sporting events! Be aware; there’s no on-site parking and food prices can be expensive. There’s a drop off zone at the box office for those with accessibility needs. Overall, the Meridian Centre is still such a great asset for downtown St. Catharines. I can’t wait to catch another River Lions game next season!

Great venue for seeing Jann Arden last week. The stage was midway, so we had a fairly intimate setting to enjoy the music. Good washroom facilities ( apparently lots of toilets for the ladies to which reduces wait time! ) Parking was free and the attendant was very helpful in giving us a shortcut tip to get to the street above ( interesting stairway )

It is an excellent local arena to spend time with family, friends and relax on Friday evening. There is plenty of stuff that you can get during any event (but it will be overpriced as hell:D), a gift shop, some food and snacks, beer, a dog, excellent nachos (I love them!). It is well maintained and clean; washrooms are decent too! BUT I am crying inside and mad at those people, who are leaving so much garbage after themselves.. ugh Always great games here!

Went to see Glorious Sons and JJ Wilde for a concert here. We were rethinking buying the tickets because they were at the side of the stage but we decided to buy them anyway. They were actually great seats! The venue is small for a concert giving a very intimate feel. We were basically front row even though we were 10 rows away because of how small the venue is. The entry was organized and in pandemic times, I never felt nervous about the amount of people around me. The sound was great and the atmosphere was exciting. We were really pleased with the whole experience especially for our first concert since covid. Also the concert was amazing!

We were here for the Bachman Cummings concert. It's a good venue. Air conditioning was good, not too cold. Volume was perfect. Beer is a bit expensive and they could have had another big screen or 2 up. Other than that, was good.

Went for a Icedogs game from the staff who checks you in to the staff at the concessions to the ushers they were all friendly and pleasant to deal with. Very clean facilitie. I don't know why people have to put there feet up on the back of seats but I love that the ushers tell them to put them down.

We purchased the VIP package, we had a two song private show. We were able to meet the band get some signatures and some photos, if you close your eyes it sounds just like Pink Floyd.

The Meridian Centre in St. Catherines is an excellent venue that offers fantastic facilities for sports and entertainment. The options for food and drink are plenty, and it is an amazing place for families to enjoy hockey games and live concerts. Overall, I highly recommend the Meridian Centre to anyone looking for a fun and exciting experience.

First time I've been to the Meridian centre and found it to have quite comfortable seats and it wasn't cold! Parking is quite limited so you have to find off-site parking. Washrooms were clean. Nice screen in the middle.

Crystal was BEYOND amazing!! Not enough words can describe this beautiful Cirque du Soleil show. HIGHLY recommend! Do not miss it! Best seats for interaction are the 1st could rows on the left side, front row ice seats for sure.

Ice Dogs home opener Oct 9 2021 at Meridian 1000 capacity hopefully that will increase in time. First time open since 2020. Great seats full concessions and private suites above ice.

Massive and convenient place at the heart of St Catharines downtown. Expect to find no parking during events. Part on St. Paul and use the stairs or the bridge.

  • 4/5 Jay H. 2 years ago on Google
Great views of the ice from any seat. Not the most comfortable but is fine for hockey games if you stand during intermission. Food is overpriced like any other arena but is what you'd expect from an arena.

Went to OHL Ice Dogs hockey game. Arena very clean and all seats have great view of ice. Only potential complaint would be pricing for drinks and food. I believe the prices compare to other venues so that's the going rate these days.

  • 4/5 B C. 1 year ago on Google
Nice family friendly venue with reasonable prices on tickets. Drinks are ridiculously expensive but that's probably standard at most hockey games. Found it annoying that they refused to let me out between periods to get some fresh air. With barcodes on the tickets which they scan on entry, I don't see why they can't scan you out and back in... Otherwise, I enjoyed my time here, everywhere including toilets clean, good sound and lighting, friendly staff.

First time going to this venue recently (Nov/22) to see Jeff Dunham. Despite concerns about parking and long lines we showed up about an hour before show start and had no issues. Place was well kept and clean. Easy signs to find out seat - there didn't seem to be a bad seat in the house. The enterance off of St. Paul was great because it was so close to parking and the restaurant where we were going for dinner after the show.

Attended The Offspring concert here, 2022. Seats are comfortable enough for a person with a spinal disease. Cell reception is not the greatest. Wish concession took cash.

The staff were very helpful when my husband arrived later than me because he was finding parking. I had the tickets. They scanned both tickets, and when my husband arrived with a screenshot of his ticket, he was brought to his seat. A very frustrating time for my husband, happily resolved. Thoroughly enjoyed the Chris de Burgh concert.

Went there for a hockey game. I'm not really a "fan" of hockey. However, as far as the facility goes, I was impressed. Access from multiple areas made arriving to the arena problem free. The layout and seats were legible and clear. The arena was well staffed and allowed for great ease in finding our seats. The combination of nostalgic and current pieces was a nice touch. Numerous food and beverage options helped add to the experience. Even afterwards, the exit was easy.

We saw Chris De Burg here. The staff were all friendly and it was well organized. It's an arena, so not great for a concert. Floor seats were folding chairs, little space and not comfortable for 2.5 hours but pretty typical for an arena. Overall a positive experience if you manage your expectations

  • 5/5 Marion G. 1 year ago on Google
The meridian centre was the venue for the Chris Deburgh concert and it is an amazing place! For a large venue, I found it very clean. Washrooms were clearly marked and well kept, and concession stands well stocked. As with all concession stands, food and drinks were pricey and there wasn't a huge parking lot but we managed. All the staff we met and talked to were very friendly and helpful. If you get a chance to attend this venue, go!

Went to see my first basketball game in-person. The seats were alright, the music was pumping, and everyone was having a good time. They even had a cool mini blimp thing that was handing out prizes! Overall a great time, would recommend it to anyone who hasn't been.

Very limited parking for such a large arena. People struggle finding a parking spot on the streets nearby, or in the poorly managed private parking lots. Once you're in, it is a really nice arena.

  • 4/5 Jordan G. 4 years ago on Google
Been here for a few concerts and a bunch of Hockey games. Overall its very good. I would get rid of the Black safety nets at the end of the arena and replace them with White ones so they blend into the ice better.

  • 5/5 Beth M. 4 years ago on Google
Although we were up high and couldn't see the band well, we had front and centre seating with no one standing blocking our view so, see them at a distance or not at all. I preferred the distance. And the light show was great. Food and drinks close by. Washrooms close too. Great night!

Good game however the amount of noise and pointless talking that happened throughout the game made it difficult to enjoy! Why the speakers have to be blaring is beyond me! I walked away with a headache! I looked around and seen many with ear plugs in, maybe that's the ticket to enjoying these games!

I've been to many concerts and games at this new amazing rink. The last time was the most remarkable. I was supporting an individual with MS in a wheelchair. The staff was very attentive to getting us past the line into an elevator. After helping us to our seat they escorted us to the family bathrooms (which seemed to be on the other side of the building. ) Very courteous staff and clean facilities make this a top notch venue for all.
