Very friendly service, but it's worth noting that some vaccines (Yellow Fever particularly) are $85 more expensive from this company compared to most other travel clinics. Unfortunately I didn't do my research before buying a different vaccine here, but considering how dramatically they overcharge for Yellow Fever I am afraid I was ripped off for my additional vaccine as well. Also most other consultation fees are much lesser than this clinic (at least $30). It would easily be cheaper to take a Go Train into Toronto for a day and use a clinic there.

I was recommended this clinic from my family doctor instead of going through her and having to wait potentially several weeks before I could get an appointment. I called passport health and got an appointment the next day. I was expecting the nurse the just tell me the shots I need and get them, but she also gave great advice on precautions for eating, drinking, and proper cleaning precautions. The nurse went above and beyond my expectations of that appointment, and I'm going on my vacation having way more peace of mind after receiving the recommended vaccinations and tips for safe traveling. The office was spotless, probably the cleanest office I've ever seen. I highly recommend going this route if you're traveling abroad.

My husband and I had our consultation yesterday (July 8, 2022) with RN, B.Bradford. She did a magnificent job of explaining medicine options with us for our upcoming journey. She explained pros and cons and incrementals in benefits with us for each type of medicine that we need for our trip, and for others that are recommended, and how to learn more about our current immunities from past vaccinations (i.e. HepA/B). Her office was incredibly clean and welcoming, with daylight. She was on time and organized with the entire process. In general though, we didn't know that payment for parking at the location was required. Not a big deal, but a nice to know ahead of time.

I travel a lot and always go to a travel clinic to make sure I’m up to date with all my vaccines for the area I’m travelling to, especially Dukoral for bacteria were not use to. The consultation was very thorough: what vaccines you need, which area of your travel contains certain illnesses, up to date alerts by Canadian government, how long each vaccination lasts and how to take them, where the Canadian embassy is in case of emergency. They also included information about Canada's regular vaccinations that you should be up to date on and which ones last a life time which was super helpful since Doctors don’t even go over this with you. Some of the vaccines are covered under OHIP and some are not. I just find it easier at the travel clinic since everything is there so you don’t have to get a prescription from your Dr., then go get it, then take it back to get injected. Worth the money for hassle free. Excellent service and all my questions were answered.

Serious issues here with bookings - highly recommend updating your online system - booked a date and time then get an email with that date and time requesting confirmation then switched to a week later - this is just poor business practices with an antiquated booking system

Although I had great service and was provided good info, their prices are definitely not the best around. My friends who are going on the same trip as me paid SIGNIFICANTLY lower than what I did. Wish I would have went where they did for the same resources

The nurses that administer the vaccines are good, no complaints there at all. Their pricing is excessive, and that’s the problem. My insurance company covers 100% of the cost, but only to a reasonable limit. Clearly their prices are way over the reasonable limit as most of my benefits paid 25-50% of the amount that was charged. There’s no way to get the price ahead of time either, otherwise you could get pre-approved with your insurance company. Beware!

Sheridan was amazing! Took the time I needed to answer my endless questions with patience and professionalism! Put me at ease and did not pressure me at all. All the pre appointment reminders, checklists and information available on the website regarding my destination was current and very useful in planning an enjoyable and safe trip. Highly recommend Passport Health.

”After not knowing where to go for my travel vaccines and information I stumbled across Passport Health in my Google search. As being someone that is new to traveling I was very impressed on the amount of knowledge that Erin had for me about my destination and about the precautions that I should take. Not only did she have this information she also had the medications available on site that she was suggesting. Making Passport Health a one stop shop to get everything I needed to properly protect myself. I would recommend Erin from Passport Health to anyone going on vacation for her knowledge and kind demeanor. This was overall a very great experience and I will be using them in the future.”

We went in thinking we were going to get a vaccine; instead it was a full hour information session where we are now better prepared for our travel.

Disorganized and unprofessional. My partner and I went to them for vaccines in 2020 when we were planning a trip, which we had to postpone because of Covid. When we returned recently for boosters, they left out relevant information that led to us not getting certain vaccines on time, and since have been extremely unprofessional, leading us on by telling us they sent a prescription to the pharmacy without doing it, wasting our time and then demanding more money before ultimately leaving us unprepared for our trip.

No waiting for our appointment, really informative about the area we were traveling to, potential risks, prevention and medicine / vaccination(s) we could potentially need. No arm twisting, just truthful information. Would definitely recommend and return for any other travel to areas with possible risk factors.

Vehicle parking is close to the site. The agent is well informed and walks through the recommended vaccines for upcoming trip.

I was surprised at the end of the visit by the $70 appointment fee. I was not made aware at the time of booking (booked via phone) that there would be a fee charged for the discussion with the nurse.

I visited Passport Health in St. Catharines in advance of a trip to Peru. Donna was very helpful. Afterward, it was discovered that one of the medications I purchased was not needed as I was protected by a regular antibiotic I take. Donna contacted me and was very helpful in facilitating a refund. The refund process was very smooth. I really appreciated the level of personal service.

I cannot rave enough about my experience at Passport Health in St Catharines. The RN Erin whom I dealt with was beyond kind and helpful. She reviewed all the countries which I would be travelling to and provided me with all the information necessary to make an informed decision regarding necessary vaccinations. She was very thorough and I left the clinic with an abundance of knowledge and confidence regarding my travel health. I was able to choose which vaccines I wanted and was able to get them immediately. Great and affordable service. Very luck to have been referred to Passport Health by a friend. 10/10.

Passport Health is such a well-needed and helpful organization for when travelling internationally! My sister and I met with Erin who was so friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful! We were able to get all of our vaccines, prescriptions, and information in one place, in one hour, which is so convenient! I would highly recommend using Passport Health when travelling - it's the most affordable, and convenient place to go for travel immunizations and health tips!

Quick, professional, good staff, and they use thin gauge needles for the vaccines so i couldn't even tell i was getting a shot.

One stop shop for all travel safety, information, and vaccinations. Very well prepared before meeting even started, and learned so much from a quick 45 min consultation. Definitely worth the visit before traveling. And not to mention very nice ladies.

Erin was very professional and knowledgable, and took her time in explaining the the efficacy of each vaccine and the recommended options. She also covered the "what if" scenarios with regard to travellers' diarrhea, which was extremely helpful. Clearly she takes her work very seriously -- just as we'd hoped, with the health and well-being of our wards at stake. Kudos also to Customer Service, who were very responsive to our questions and were able to fit in a last-minute appointment before departure. The only negative was the elevators, which wouldn't go to the 2nd floor after-hours without a pass card. But after a quick call to Customer Service, Erin was able to resolve that issue by coming down to let us up. A highly-recommended 5 stars.

We recently had our appointment at Passport Health with Erin in St. Catharines. Making the appointment was very easy and the times available were extremely convenient. We were impressed on how knowledgeable and thorough Erin was and definitely felt she had our best interest in mind when discussing our options. I do feel much more comfortable and protected for our upcoming trip. Well worth the visit!

So far I have tried emailing them and filling out the web form multiple times with no reply. Just wanted to know what vaccinations I needed for a country and what the costs are before booking an appointment.

I visited this travel clinic for booster immunizations before a trip. Be aware that the price this clinic charges you is 3x the normal amount for drug prices through your doctor or pharmacy. If you are planning to claim your cost through insurance only 1/3 of the drug price will be covered.

I had a great experience at Passport Health in preparation for an upcoming placement in Peru. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the services I received during my three rabies vaccine appointments. I usually don't do well with needles, but the nurse was very friendly and helped make me as comfortable as I could be. I was also happy to have received an extensive briefing on any health concerns I might encounter while abroad. I was out of the region when I was meant to get my last shot, but they were very accommodating and transferred my appointment to another Passport Health clinic closer to me. Highly recommend!

I was greatly impressed by the thoroughness of the guidance and care my family and I received at Passport Health. The knowledgeable staff surpassed my expectations and I will not hesitate to return here before my next trip abroad!

''Belinda was fantastic. She was incredibly informative, answered all my questions, was gentle in her administration of my vaccines, and I did not feel pressured into purchasing vaccinations that were recommended. After leaving I highly recommended my travel companion to use Passport Health as well.''

From our initial phone conversation with Stormy (who booked our appointments for us) to our consultation with Belinda, we were so pleased with the professionalism and knowledge that Passport Health had to offer us. My husband and I are taking our two teenage children to Thailand and Cambodia and while we want to "experience all that Asia has to offer" we want to do so safely. Belinda explained all the possible problems we may encounter and offered vaccinations and general safety recommendations to us. I highly recommend the services of Passport Health.

I recently visited Passport Health St. Catharines Travel Clinic in regards to an upcoming trip to Brazil. This service was extremely useful for me and very professionally run. I was able to fill out the preliminary information online which enabled us to focus on the concerns when visiting this area. Erin was amazing, very organized and had all the answers to my questions. I rate it a 5 out of 5 and highly recommend it to anyone.

The nurse was thorough and honestly let me know what I would need and what wasn't neccessary. She was also able to secure a full dose of the yellow fever vaccine, since I am moving overseas, not just visiting. (There is a shortage of this vaccine and usually, they only give out fractional doses, which cover you for a year. The full dose will cover me for life.) Deducted one star since I have to go back to get the yellow fever vaccine, even though they had it in stock. They had two full doses on hand, but wanted to keep them, just in case a family came in and needed them. When I asked if the potential family could be the ones to come back, the nurse explained they are requesting me to come back since I have time before leaving on my trip and sometimes people show up the day before they fly. I agreed to do it, but it's still an annoyance.

  • 2/5 Jessica Z. 4 years ago on Google
Overall the experience was good and Erin was really helpful and knowledgeable. However, after I submitted my vaccines charges to my insurance company, I noted that because the clinic overcharged for the vaccines, I was only reimbursed the maximum amount allowed based on the reasonable and customary charges for the drugs. That being said, the vaccines are very very overpriced. For instance, for Thphim Vi, they charged me for 70 bucks, while the reasonable charge per my insurance company is only slightly over 20 dollars..... And Im just listing one FYI...

Passport Health set up an appointment in the city nearest me within a week of my call. Their email confirming my appointment also allowed me to enter my medical data prior to meeting to save time and qualified me for a discount. Although my case was somewhat complicated due to age and medical constraints, the nurse went through the info point by point. She outlined all of the choices available which enabled me to make my choices as to the help I would need. I would recommend this service.

  • 5/5 Barb L. 1 year ago on Google • 1 review
Passport Health was no problem at all. I had filled out the Medical History and questionnaire on-line as suggested for $10 off the cast of the visit. Belinda was totally ready for me, explained requirements and recommendations and did not argue with my choices or try to talk me into a recommendation I did not want. The needed vaccines were in the clinic and Belinda was able to write the the Rx that I needed. All very easy and efficient, I would recommend the Passport Health in St Catharines.
