I've always loved this restaurant and have been to the Akron location many times. This was my first time at this Strongsville location and we had great service and food. Highly recommend to anyone looking for great burgers in the area!

Long time supporter of the Strongsville location. This was our go-to take out location during COVID ('20). We enjoyed it for our families birthdays and other special occasions. But nothing lasts forever and this past Saturday shows we must move on. The menu has been literally cut in half. One menu side is food, the back side is drinks? In addition to eliminating my daughter's favorite selection (Buffalo Mac n' Cheese), they no longer have wings (who does that!?!) and nothing with pulled pork, which was my "go to" their Crouching Burger Hidden Bacon. No pulled pork tacos/sliders. When we asked what happened, it was explained that it was done to reduce prep and standardize offerings across locations. But there is nothing there for us any longer. We would've walked out but my kid was starving and Brew Garden was jam packed. Instead by wife and I both got a new cracker thin flatbread priced at 14.99. Waaaay overpriced for what it is (see photo). 3 of us at for $78. Will not be back.

First time here for Sunday Brunch. Server was great, very nice and attentive. Got Steak & Eggs, steak was cooked just right the way I like it. Biscuits were very buttery in taste, honestly didn't need the extra butter on the side for them. My wife had a burger with a Waffle substituted for the bread, she loved it. My cousin had 2 Bloody Mary's, one was the Classic and the other was their Habanero Bloody Mary. Had a small kick to it, but wasn't too hot. Been to The Rail a few times in the past, always great food and a great time had!

Great burgers and beers!!! The Ohio tick cut bacon is an absolute must in your burger or salad!!! Macy did a great job in taking care of us!!! Kudos to her!!!

I'll start by saying I'm not a hamburger guy. Usually the art is wasted on me. However, this was the juiciest, most delicious burger 🍔 Also, the pepperoni flat bread is equally thin and crusty and cheesy and meaty. I devoured it so quickly that I could barely notice. The wait staff was a little inattentive but it was Saturday afternoon.

Best burgers in town! Service was great. Atmosphere was nice. Very clean and fresh food. Will return and well recommended.

Their food went WAY downhill. Burgers and chicken are significantly smaller. Also, they are cheaping out on staff. Saving tens of dollars in labor just to anger both customers and employees is one of the stupidest, most short-sighted things a business can do. At this rate, two years from now they'll be closing the location--and they'll have nobody to blame but themselves.

Really nice atmosphere, nice inside/outdoor area. Great beer selection. The fried pickels were really good and the burger was fresh with a nice grill flavor. The Brussels were decent but could have more flavor, maybe honey and blue cheese, (see my review from Freight Kitchen and Tap in Woodstock, Georgia)The side of pepper jack sauce is a must, the shoestring fries disappointed because they were just a crunch with no potatoe flavor.

This was a great place for lunch! A must have are the tater tots! They were the best of my life!!! Also everything you can tell is homemade and very fresh.

Place is legit! I ordered the fried pickles for appetizer. The menu says they are the best around and they aren’t lying! Then ordered the Mojo burger and it was amazing. Sat at the bar, bartender was very attentive and I was there on a Friday night. Highly recommend. Bathrooms were clean as well.

Hadn't been here in a few years and boy did it not disappoint! The food was great! I will surely plan to visit again!

We ordered the hot chicken sandwich and the cheat day burger, with fried pickles and nacho apps. The cheat day burger and the hot chicken sandwich were great! The pickles and the nachos were ok. I personally don't care for the ranch they drizzle on the nachos and serve with the pickles. The service was just fine.

We went to this place while in Cleveland while there for a hockey tournament. The service was great, the atmosphere was so nice. It’s a good place to watch a football or baseball game for sure. The food was a mixed review. My children loved their burgers. My son built his own and put an egg on his burger for the first time and loved it. Myself and my husband were not happy. We order the burger that has beef and sausage in it. It was so dry I could barely eat it. There was only a thin slice and a half of bacon on it and no lettuce. I was not happy at all. The waitress was great though and I would go back and just not order that burger.

The BBQ Chicken Chopped Salad was tasty! Nice little selection of beers from Ohio-based breweries, I got a flight for $10! The rest of our table ordered the steak salad and a few different burgers and they were all pleased. Good service as well. I would say the menu might be on the shorter side, but it seems like what they do they do well— which is all that matters to me.

Absolutely love this place. The food is excellent. They had the best blood orange margaritas. Emma was the sweetest. The house tater tots are fantastic!

I love this place. I drove over an hour just to come here today for a nice relaxing afternoon alone. The house made tots were fantastic as always. (That's what I really come for ;)) the burger was also amazing. Special shout out to Netta the bartender! I myself am a bartender and always appreciate exceptional service. She's great!!! We had never been here before believe it or not. My husband was excited about the fried bologna sandwich and said even though it was good, the bologna needed to be thicker. He also got the tater tots (which are fantastic) and the pretzel bites. All 3 were off the happy hour menu. I got the Rail-Avore burger with a side salad. The burger had a nice grilled flavor and was delicious. I like that everything (or just about) is Ohio based and local. We will definitely go back!

Food was delicious, service was quick and accurate. Nora was polite, pleasant and followed up without being overbearing or worse-"missing in action". Wonderful experience. Will definitely be back.

The food is always good. The service is never too impressive and you can end up waiting a long time to be seated.

The Strongsville Rail has a sweetheart of a server named Ariel. My friend and I have been meeting here monthly for a number of years and since I'm about to move out of the area, I don't want to go without recognizing Ariel. From day one she always acknowledged us whether she served our table that day or not and did it with a warm, friendly and personable demeanor. Ariel is the kind of server the food industry needs more of. Gonna miss you Ariel!!

We love coming to The Rail. Great beer selection and delicious food. Shout out to Nora, who always does a fabulous job when she’s our server!

A great pick me up after shopping at the mall. Great burgers and fries, with a gluten free option. We were grooving out to the music the whole time. Food came out fast and our server Celeste was great!

Ordered the 7th Heaven Burger & Steak Fries online and food was done pretty fast! Food was still warm when I got home and super delicious! Love that they put the condiments on the side so burger would not be soggy when I got home. I came here because of everything being all Ohio based and the look of quality in their ingredients and was not disappointed! Burger Patties are huge, and the inside of the restaurant was a nice environment, will definitely have to eat in here one day soon.

I ordered take out the rail avore burger and it had the onion peel/skin on it not onions my mushrooms were burnt the burger was plain and dry and the steak fries I received were cold and dry it was horrible. I never had this experience before here I’m very disappointed. I went hungry because I couldn’t eat that mess.

We were really looking forward to a great quality burger at the Rail. We pass it everyday and we're curious....unfortunately, it was disappointing. All of our fries were cold. The steak and burgers were not seasoned and tasted bland. The beers were decent but the food was not at all what we expected. Not sure we would ever return. The service was good not great.

Food was good, service was okay, but what really made the experience negative was that the restaurant had this sign on every table stating a promo that they had going on for the month (that only states what you have to order to get the deal). We ordered 2 entrees, the pickles, a flatbread, more to go, and tipped 20% on the full bill. Once paying , we realized we didn’t get the promo and the server told us that actually we would have to ask specifically for it before ordering, yet there’s nothing on the sign stating that. We called the manager today and they dismissed the situation and told us to call corporate if we want a resolution. Very poor way to handle your business, it really wouldn’t be too hard to put “Just mention it to your server!” on the sign. We spent over $150 total for 3 adults and a child, a good server would’ve mentioned the promo initially to add to her total tab and we probably would’ve ordered more and given her an even larger tip. Disappointing experience.
