Addendum
from
02/21/24:
After
largely
taking
a
break
during
Corona,
I
unfortunately
have
to
realize
that
the
studio
is
becoming
more
and
more
dilapidated
and
only
the
bare
essentials
are
being
repaired
(if
at
all).
That's
why
some
of
the
(still)
positive
reviews
are
a
bit
unclear
to
me.
Endurance
area
(treadmill,
cross
trainer,
stepper,
etc.):
Three
(out
of
four)
televisions
have
stopped
working
for
months
(which
used
to
be
a
nice
distraction
during
long
endurance
training
and
also
gave
the
whole
thing
a
bit
of
a
"lifestyle").
If
you
talk
to
someone
in
the
studio
or
leave
it
online
[as
McFIT
repeatedly
recommends
here
on
Google],
nothing
happens.
Men's
locker
room:
Lockers
are
constantly
broken
(just
as
an
example:
for
months
no.
77
and
83).
Notes
in
the
studio
don't
help
here
either.
Of
the
three
showers,
you
might
be
lucky
if
you
get
one
that's
lukewarm.
The
water
jet
is
also
set
to
a
minimum.
Furthermore,
ongoing
water
temperature
fluctuations
between
lukewarm
and
cold.
Training
area:
When
it
comes
to
treadmills,
at
least
two
machines
are
so
loud
when
used
more
intensively
(the
first
two
at
the
back
on
the
right;
you
guessed
it:
for
months)
that
they
need
to
be
repaired.
In
some
cases,
the
pins
for
regulating
the
weights
can
only
be
inserted
by
force.
If
the
pins
are
not
completely
missing.
Some
of
the
upholstery
on
the
devices
is
so
torn
that
it
scratches
unpleasantly
when
you
use
the
devices.
Clumsy
or
squeaky
devices
obviously
no
longer
bother
anyone.
In
general,
you
get
the
feeling
that
the
devices
are
simply
left
to
their
own
devices
or
that
there
are
no
studio
employees,
area
managers,
etc.
who
feel
responsible
for
the
condition
of
the
devices.
My
expectation
(even
with
“only”
EUR
24.90
per
month)
would
be
that
there
would
have
to
be
someone,
right?
Others
believe
that
you
sometimes
freeze
to
death
in
the
winter
because
the
temperature
regulation
only
works
to
a
limited
extent
and
that
every
selfish
person
can
open
the
windows
wide
open
at
temperatures
below
five
degrees
(other
studios
sometimes
have
setting
options
so
that
you
can
only
tilt
the
windows).
also
already
noted.
Conclusion:
When
it
opened
about
ten
years
ago,
the
whole
thing
was
a
really
great
studio
that
people
were
happy
to
recommend
to
others.
This
is
a
gradual
process,
but
the
situation
has
been
getting
worse
and
worse
since
2019/2020.
Maybe
McFIT
should
stop
constantly
praising
itself
("Proud
to
be
McFIT",
"Europe's
No.
1",
etc.),
but
rather
put
more
effort
into
having
the
studios
looked
after
by
employees
who
are
trained
to
do
this
to
keep
older
studios
running
(recognize
defective
devices,
take
complaints
seriously,
etc.).
Maybe
employees
in
the
marketing
department
should
also
train
in
an
older
studio?
Ultimately,
it
is
currently
the
case
that
I
(and
probably
other
members)
only
train
in
the
studio
because
there
is
no
real
alternative
in
the
surrounding
area.
But
can
that
be
the
claim?
Of
course
(since
my
previous
approaches
have
been
unsuccessful)
the
whole
thing
should
remain
constructive
and
I
will
therefore
report
back
and
be
happy
to
adjust
my
rating
as
soon
as
one
or
more
of
the
points
mentioned
above
have
been
resolved!

Charging
EUR
19.00
as
a
fee
for
a
replacement
card
(I
lost
my
old
one)
is
simply
disproportionate.
Especially
since
the
whole
process
took
less
than
five
minutes,
the
card
itself
is
of
little
value
and
I
was
so
surprised
that
I
asked
again
whether
it
was
impossible
to
accommodate
a
customer
of
almost
ten
years.
Well,
somehow
at
McFit
at
headquarters
they
are
primarily
interested
in
new
customers
and
existing
customers
are
no
longer
valued...
