Tentazioni Café

Thought this was decent for a station. We got the following items, listed below with asterisks to indicate what we liked: - jam cookie - pain au chocolate* - cream and Nutella croissant* - chocolate braid*

Inside the Santa Maria Novella Station near platforms 4 and 5 I had an excellent sandwich and a very good coffee. Very kind and attentive staff. All covid-19 rules respected. Very high cost of products as in all Autogrill restaurant structures.

Decent paninis and coffee. Our service was fine and lots of options for drinks/snacks to go. Not a bad spot to grab food in between train stops.

Pour gagner du temps, on peut y prendre de sandwichs simples. Le personnel est sympa mais le lieu est basique et pas très propres. C’est un snack si vous voulez.

Scam!! I asked for Americano coffee they charged me for a Cremosso Americano (the most expensive one) and also included a chocolate in the bill, STAY AWAY

Solitamente non mi piace mettere recensioni negative. Peró qui devo fare un eccezione e condividere la mia esperienza. La questione non è “il prezzo” in sé, perché ognuno fa come vuole con i suoi locali. Ma se io vado li e ti chiedo cappuccino e cornetto, e tu mi fai “ti metto anche una bottiglietta d’acqua?” senza specificarmi che costa quasi più del cappuccino, questo vuol dire veramente cercarsela la recensione negativa. Completano il quadro: - la ragazza alla cassa che farebbe bene a farsi due camomille prima di iniziare il turno - un cappuccino liquido - un cornetto alla crema abbastanza buono, motivo delle due stelle nella sezione “cibo” Allego lo scontrino che fa già ridere. Se non state morendo di fame, fatevi due passi e andate altrove. Saluti!

Sporco, impersonale, fuori bdgt! 5€ un cornetto congelato senza Nutella e un caffè americano bruciato. Tristi

Ordered one cappuccino one hot water and got a half price croissant. I’ve read the bad reviews. On this occasion it wasn’t too bad. Didn’t get told to take the reciept to the other coffee counter for hot drinks. When I worked it out realised I’d been charged for a bottle of water so was a bit difficult getting the hot water. We got there in the end. Don’t go here before a train if you’re in a hurry.

Their system was so BAD. The café separates the croissant and coffee orders to speed up the service but it doesn’t work since one person tries to memorise an order rather than ticking what’s been given out on their receipt! The hot chocolate came without milk (!) and the coffees were lukewarm. When we were missing croissants and other things they told us to go grab it ourselves 😭 I recommend if you want to be STRESSED before your train ride ❤️ but we had an hour to kill so it’s whatever.

Be sure to question what you’re paying for, they charge you for more than what you ask for and you realise only after seeing the receipt. The coffee is also the worst I’ve ever had

只是點一杯卡布奇諾，從點餐到拿到飲品要等20分鐘，建議搭車的人不要買，你不知道要等多久，出餐也不是看點餐順序，就是一群人擠在櫃檯，看服務人員的心情拿你的單子，拿了也不見得會立刻做，比我們晚過來的歐洲人都先拿了餐點離開了呢，服務人員態度也很差，不會管你車要來了沒。

WARNING ⚠️ DAYLIGHT ROBBERY! DON'T GO HERE! they took more than 20 minutes and so we left ! It's chaos and not evening busy . Don't bother. We spent the money and never got a coffee. Women arguing and don't know what they are doing. Spent more time arguing and everyone was very frustrated.

So rude. Overcharged us for a water we didn't want, then made us queue again to get a refund. Then had to wait over ten minutes for the coffee, and they lost one of our coffees giving it to someone else by accident. Waited more, and finally they didn't put any milk in the cappuccino,only foam, and they were rude and shouted at me about both the water complaint and the milk complaint. Awful. Worst service I've encountered in Italy by far.

I was double-charged at this café, and even though I showed my bank statement as proof, they made me pay again. Hardly anyone spoke enough English to resolve the issue. The food was mediocre at best and seriously overpriced. Overall, a disappointing experience.

2.70 for a large latte that was mostly foam with only a notion of coffee. The croissants were decent, though do not expect a French-style pastry. I wish I had read reviews before getting in line.

The waitress is being racist, I am 100% sure she did not ask me take away or eat here, just wanna kick me out! And when I am order she is like sigh, ah, what’s wrong with u？Excuse me??? Never had this bad experience. The women with the black round frame glass. If can not speak Italian properly, be careful of the racism in this cafe! Ruined my whole day, thank u so much

If you’re in a hurry, don’t go — the staff coordination inside is extremely chaotic. I ordered a large cappuccino, and it was the worst coffee I’ve ever had. The food was better.

Capito frequentemente a Firenze per motivi di lavoro e, spesso, mi fermo a fare colazione in uno dei due bar della stazione. Tentazioni, purtroppo, è un locale che mi lascia sempre perplessa, soprattutto per il modo in cui vengono trattati i clienti, in particolare gli stranieri. Lo staff sembra sempre sotto pressione e l'atmosfera di lavoro non appare affatto serena. La mancanza di cordialità nel spiegare le numerose opzioni del menù è evidente, anche quando si chiede semplicemente un caffè. Inoltre, vengono proposte aggiunte come miscele "premium" per aumentare il prezzo, e ora anche l'opzione di scegliere la misura della tazza, il che rende l’esperienza un po’ meno trasparente. Sebbene il locale adotti un formato tipico di bar italiano, la modalità di gestione dello scontrino ricorda più quella di un grande marchio come Starbucks, con numerose aggiunte per far lievitare il totale. È davvero un peccato che un turista, magari alla sua prima esperienza a Firenze, possa ricevere un'accoglienza così poco calorosa.

AWFUL!!!! The staff has nervous problems, there was one lady with blonde hair and blue eyes, who was screaming at everyone . She poured my coffee in from of me , screaming just because I asked which one is decaff.

We had our Great time visiting Florence BUT NOT AFTER HAVING A COFFEE AT THIS LITTLE CAFÉ SHOP. Gordan Ramsey's kitchen nightmares! Hope he finds this shop! Don't waste your time! Had over 20+ minutes to wait for our train, so why not get a coffee?! Ended up leaving without my coffee because the lady at the counter was running the line rude and disrespectful to everyone

Very rude staff.

As Australians first time traveling in Europe the female waitress is the rudest person we have come across. We ordered two coffees to eat it and wait for our train. They brought us take away cups, didn’t think anything about it. Next thing this waitress comes over and screams at us to get out it’s for eat in only this is the rules she screams. After the fourth time she yells this I tell her I heard you the first time and my husband tried to explain we ordered to eat in. She said get out ! Never been so humiliated or thrown out of a cafe in our lives. So rude so disrespectful behaviour.
