Food were delicious. Service is the best. We got a good recommendation from friendly and super attentive staff. 10/10 for Crab gyoza and crispy chicken bao. We definitely go back again.

Although it was hidden we were very happy to find this cute restaurant! They had so many options for such good prices! They had some creative gyozas which I hope to try more of! And of course the staff were very lovely.

Delicious Gyoza and Beef Tataki. The staff are very nice and the service is quick! The tataki is flavoursome and gyoza was juicy and tasty. I would recommend to family and friends in future! Nice atmosphere and in great location.

It’s become almost my “go-to” for Dumplings in Brisbane. We often now make it a family affair. Hidden down Albert Lane behind JBHIFI, you will be welcomed with ”Irasshaimase” which is a Japanese welcome. All the food is light and delicious, the drinks menu is small but perfect for whatever you might be craving. The decor is fun and eclectic which matches the overall feel of the place. I found the new digital menu and ordering system difficult to navigate at first, but the staff are always happy to help. I recommend list of share plates... get some friends together and go here for dumplings! Highly recommended.

Gyoza's were absolutely delicious 🤤. Getting the 2 for 1 deal on the Tuesday is a real bargain. Drinks are at a happy hour price up until 6pm so $5 cider, woo hoo!!! Staff were very friendly and attentive. Lovely atmosphere. Will definitely be back again ☺️

Decided to dine in during my Sunday visit in the city. I heard about the sushi taco and decided to give it a go. I got the chicken karage sushi taco with a side of lotus chips. The lotus chips were seasoned perfectly and crisp. The sushi taco was portioned good for the price, however it was hard to eat. There were about five pieces of chicken karage on the taco, the large pieces made it quite difficult to wrap my mouth around it. The atmosphere of this place is okay, we arrived at 11:30am and was packed 15mins later. So this place must be good. My meal took roughly 25mins to arrive.

I came for Omurice pop-up which ended today (23rd). Well worth it and was absolutely delicious. Was pretty busy though and my order got overlooked (people who ordered after me got their meals first) until i made them aware. Apart from this was a good experience overall.

Great food. With a good beer selection. You order at the table via app

  • 5/5 Taiga Y. 2 years ago on Google
Quick service even when it's packed, the Gyoza themselves are addictive (the mozzarella Gyoza was surprisingly good!), and relatively well priced. Interesting interior design. Very nostalgic. Some designs on the plates are rather scary though, but I guess that's just a part of the fun. "Look at the plate I got!" kind of thing.

Absolutely love Harajuku Gyoza; the staff, atmosphere and food is usually always awesome. I did have an unfortunate experience trying the Takoyaki Gyoza today. It was drowning in Dried Bonito Fish flakes which created a strong unpleasant seafood smell. There also doesn't seem to be baby octopus inside the dumplings which is usual in Takoyaki. Complaints about the dish above aside, will be back :)

Tried the omurice pop-up, very unique experience and worth booking. Customer service was friendly and welcoming. Restaurant was very clean and followed covid protocols by keeping diners seperate. Food came out 20mins after ordering, before your omelette is made one of the staff members informs you to go up and watch your omelette being made. The omelette was smooth like butter, very velvety and soft in texture. Rice was a bit salty, felt very thirsty afterwards. Would have been nice if diners were served a complimentary glass of water like most Japanese restaurants. The omelette rice was nice but pricey at $22. Worth trying though.

Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Staff were super friendly and attentive despite their busyness. Food was delicious. Loved being able to see the chef cooking. For me, the music, which I liked, was a bit too loud. Hope to get back again one day.

The special salmon sashimi taco is really good and I am amazed by the size of it. Just that I waited for more than 35 mins for this order.

Service was fast, the place was clean and the staff friendly. I had the duck in vinagre gyoza. 5 pieces for $12. The gyoza was super soft that brake when trying to eat. Im not a gyoza specialist but seemed overcooked. I was hungry when left the restaurant. A big disappointment I don't think will come back any time soon

One of favourite gyoza spots in city with many authentic Japanese gyoza options to chose from, it’s been our preferred spot to visit in town for many years now. Food is just delicious, tasty and good value for the money. Unfortunately service is just opposite, lazy, unfriendly, robotic , no customer interaction, no greeting and smile anymore, they hand you small tablet to order and they don’t want you to bother them anymore. Tablet ordering system is not very user friendly and has mistakes, we ordered 8pcs. got 5, we ordered water, we never got it. Staff seems to be more busy taking to themselves than taking care of customers. It’s not how I remember this place, it used to be very nice and customer friendly, but something has changed and the young staff just don’t care about work, which is ruining experience. Sad but will not go back as often.

Nice friendly staff 🙂 food was really nice they had some different styles of gyoza. Good range of drinks. If you like dumplings come give this place a shot. Drinks are$$ only downside.

Love this place, visited in 2018 and went there like 20 times in just one week! The staff are really nice and the food is absolutely amazing! Couldn’t wait to come back here now in 2021 from NZ and glad to see that the food is just as good as I remembered! Only complaint would be the phone ordering system can be a bit confusing, but the staff helped us out by giving us a tablet! ありがとうございます, will be coming back!!

Food was great, but inattentive staff ruined the experience. Besides the fact that the restaurant was basically empty and no dockets on the pass, our table was never cleaned up and our dessert order was lost among the spiked dockets. As a hospitality worker I’m sorry for this review but big thumb down to the blond waitress (which also ignored me while raising my hand to call her attention).

Been coming here for some time now.The staff are constantly run off there feet but seem to manage multitasking. The girls work there butts off. Tonight was a tad hit and miss unfortunately with the experience and food. Mabye Friday nights are a bit hetic. I will be back as I love the food and hope it improves on return.

Very good gyozas in queen street mall. It’s a little salty, but was nicely done and highly recommended for great tasting Japanese snack food.

Unexpectedly great. Not sure why I hadn’t come here before but excellent Friday lunch option. Some very out there gyoza options. Not just your regular options which what I was expecting. Bbq chicken, duck, blue cheese sauce. Great crispy chicken wings. Decent size portions of food as well. Sharing 4 plates between two was almost too much. My waistline hates me but no regrets. $30 for wings, 8 gyoza and a coke

They have a wing special on Wednesday, just pass through queens street and found out this deal. $0.5per wing,$2 for four. And it come with spicy /honey flavour. No limitations per person. Good try. I also ordered a mushroom dumpling. But i recommend the wing.

Very disappointing. Even the signature dumplings weren't up to standard .. The vegetables would haven been much better without the vinegar. cost me $40 and not worth it at all.

Great place to come for lunch. They have very limited gluten free options though. Only 2 gyoza’s available for celiacs. Unfortunately the bowls are not listed as gluten free, so my partner left still hungry. The curry was delicious as was the miso soup. The only I found incredible was the costs of drinks. We had a coke and sparkling water at $5 each for on tap glasses. If this included a free refill it would be better value for money as the glass was quite small. However if you are celiac, I would suggest finding another location as you have only 2 options of gyoza to eat and nothing else.

Came for omu rice. The demiglaze tasted weird and bitter - probably burnt. Rice was okay but had small dry and hard bits. Small portion sizes overall and overpriced. $22 for demiglaze and $19 for ketchup. But the egg was cooked nicely.

The japanese curry was not thick enough. It was like drinking a curry soup. The gyoza was too soggy and you wouldnt want to have the second bite one this. Great atomosphere and friendly staff. But i dont think i will come back as the food really disappointed me this time.

Went for and early dinner on Monday. We order around 5:30pm, my friend gets her food before I do, which is fine but by the time she finished her meal, I was still waiting on mine. We had to ask the waitress if the food was still coming. Overall it took 35 minutes just for kaarage chicken curry bowl. At the end I went up and asked if they could bring a take away container and they said yes and would bring it over. Went and sat down while the waitress stood and talked to someone for a while and walked around the kitchen. I ended up leaving without my take away container as it became clear she was not bringing it any time soon. I feel that the kitchen should bring the food out at the same time, the waitress should atleast come and ask if the food is okay and they should act in a timely manner. I was very close to just asking for a refund so I could go somewhere else with better service. Also to note, my partner and our friend went here a month or so ago and they had the same issues. The restaurant literally forgot to make their order. They say for 45 minutes waiting. Will not be returning again.

Stopped in for lunch, we ordered some karage chicken and 2 lemon lime bitters, telling them we had another guest coming. They said to press the button and they'd come right away. Waited 20 mins for the chicken, and then she said she would be right back to take our order. After 15 minutes of them walking past and ignoring our table over and over we took our business elsewhere. Extremely disappointing, have always enjoyed other locations.

Seated happily at 7:45, once we had a drink in front of us, it was all urgency. Kitchen closing, no more drinks, order food now. Miso in a bottle over cucumber, Sake in a green tea bottle, tempura that has no tempura at all (dry grilled), I could go on. The worst!! Avoid this place.

Very friendly staff and fast service. Good atmosphere. The gyoza’s were nice but not amazing, but also very fairly priced so definitely not complaining. I’d happily come back here for a quick meal and a drink. Very casual setting, and I’d highly recommend to try out if you are craving some gyoza. We had the pork, vegetable and duck - duck was by far the tastiest, followed by the vegetable.

Great service here, really great actually!! Food too was awesome, along with pale ale beer!!

  • 1/5 E J. 3 years ago on Google
$2 for each gyoza that is less than a frozen gyoza quality. Grilled gyoza had no skin (Japanese type of grilled gyoza has no wings which is and nowhere near crispy but soggy. Tap beer for happy hour ($5)was out of stock and we got charged $10 for a bottle of beer instead which was above average price. Even we had get one gyoza and one for free deal it was not worth it. We were the only customers there but quality of gyoza was so bad and beer range was poor although beer is the important part for gyoza dining. Would be better to buy frozen dumplings at coles and cook at home.

  • 5/5 Lisa L. 3 years ago on Google
Seriously yummy food! Service with a smile and very helpful staff. The premises are immaculately clean and the staff were able to accommodate our group with absolutely no drama. I highly recommend the plum wine, it's delicious! Tried the duck and prawn gyoza and was not disappointed one bit. Definitely going back for more.

Absolute complete incompetence form this company, this restaurant, the staff, and whoever they hired to design their app. Waited 60 minutes and still have gotten no food. Their app is mandatory in order for you to claim the special of the day, when they can just take your order to begin with. The app doesn't work, cannot download if you don't have an Australian account. The app doesn't work, cannot sign up because no matter how you enter the birth date upon registration it will either break itself by adding 0's or not allowing numbers, or dashes (following the date format provided, and any other format as well) or won't accept a legitimate date upon registering, after registering still cannot order. WHY DO I HAVE TO USE AN APP TO ORDER THE DAILY DEAL?

First of all, the service button is not working, i finally walked to the till to order. And the dish size is for kids, not worth that price. Cos I went there with my baby, they just turn up the music to enforce us to leave. It’s really bad experience.

The plus is that vegan items are marked accordingly (V+) but I felt disappointed with what the products were. The vegetable gyoza was the least disappointing out of the 3 items we ordered (9$ for 5 small gyoza), tempura eggplant was just what you'd expect I guess - just deepfried eggplant with no taste other than oil (10.50$). Biggest letdown was the teriyaki tofu bowl - rice, cucumber, and tofu in a small bowl with soy sauce for 16.80$. Service was cheerful and pleasant.
