First time going here, got the Sconny Poutine. It was fantastic, was really pleased with it. Service was also good, would definitely stop here again.

Lots of different options for burgers. Burgers were quite good. It's your standard bar food with some unique options like the Chicago dog which was also really good. Appears to have a good selection to choose from and the taps they had were also diverse enough for most.

Excellent food and service always good never been let down!!

Edited: July 1st 2021: Wow! There is a reason this place is so busy! The food is sooo good! Be patient with your waiters and waitresses. I actually felt bad with how busy it was. Tip them well and be kind! Today we got the hot wings =amazing. The barnyard buger= YUM. And the crispy chicken bacon sandwhich= A+. Will post pictures! Also the bloody Mary was thick and spicy! Once it melted some it was very good! Could use a chunk of cheese or something in it. 🤪 1st review-Gronks is always a hit at our house. Since covid we order for pickup and we've never had issues with our order or food quality. Would recommend to any local or traveling people looking for some good food and good beer.

Check out Haylie. She was very pleasant and assisted us with out To-Go order. Our food hot, fresh, made with love and very delicious. I'm just a little sad I'm not from the area, so I'm not sure when we will be back. Definitely one of the best restaurants we've been to on the road as truckers. 😋🥙🥰🚛

Party of 10 for a double birthday party. Worked out great. Everyone loved their food. We weren't rushed to leave. Their burgers are the best in town. Not the dried out hockey pucks you'll get at many places. Gronk's Burger and the Pizza Burger are two of our favorites.

We showed up right when they opened on Sunday. Very friendly and accommodating bartender/waitress. Cheese curds were good, wings were good and the burger was good too. The burger had a very soft and fresh bun. Establishment was very clean and there was plenty of space. A solid option to dine if you’re in Superior.

Huge burgers with the best taste ever! The staff were really nice. It was really nice that they were open on their regular hours even on holidays. The place is really cozy and you can have a good time eating giant sandwiches. The extreme mushroom melt was fantastic! A greatly overloaded prime rib with a perfect mushroom sauce! I will take the 5Lb challenge the next time!

Absolutely the best beer cheese bacon cheeseburger you will ever have! Amazing service, Northwoods and laid back atmosphere makes you feel at home! Highly recommend Gronks!

I got the Gronk Dog which was good but it took an hour to arrive. Our server was great. We had drinks and our order placed within 10 minutes. The wait, while excessive didn’t cause any issues. It gave us time to plan our motorcycle route for the rest of the day. I will definitely try Gronks again, as long as we’re not in a hurry.

For the first time at Gronks, my fiancé got the Ms. Gronk burger (bison instead of beef), and I got the barnyard burger. The burgers were HUGE and cooked amazingly! The fries and coleslaw were also delicious. The staff was timely and didn't keep us waiting. Our waitress was also very attentive and ensured we were taken of. I will be recommending to my family and friends.

This place is awesome. Our bartender Stephanie was amazing at helping choose a great draft from the 22 options. The menu was almost overwhelming with so many options but the more you read the harder it is to choose which yummy item is the next victim for my carnivorous delight. We settled on the inferno burger and an Italian bomber! Omg they did not disappoint! Had to sit h the bread half way thru so I could finish the awesomely Italian sliced beef and the Italian sausage loaded with mozz! Definitely brought me back to my childhood! Definitely coming back! Oh and Lexi pointed me towards beaches and rock hunting areas. Awesome help! Super sweet.

Staff was very polite. Lost track of the table when we moved to a larger table for people joining us. Waited forever for them to take our order. Things happen when things are really busy and understaffed on a holiday we understand this. A big thank you for all the hard work the staff did that were on duty. However, once we did order our food I think we waited approximately an hour and a half or more. We noticed other people walked out. We spent more money than we needed because we ordered more drinks when we were sitting there waiting for our food. One consolation the staff made was that they gave us a side of onion rings because the table that ordered it had walked out.Seriously our bill should have been reduced drastically for the inconvenience and long wait. I will say that the bathrooms were clean The restaurant appeared to be pretty clean for the number of people in there. Our friends got the ribs and shared them and they looked awesome. The hot dog with the pulled pork was great but the French fries were rubbery. I think the most disappointing thing was when I asked what kind of wine they had and the girl brought out a bottle to show me. I immediately said no thank you I think I'll have a beer. I did not tell them that but this is the wine that the dollar store sells in South Dakota. I might recommend going there on a slow day I think the service and food would be a lot better

Place wasn't busy when I got there, ordered 1/2 fried chicken meal and a beer. I knew chicken would take about 15-20 min but it took a lot longer. When it did arrive it was piping hot and good size portions and flavor, so worth the wait.

Wow. Amazing cheesy baconburger. Hubby loved the mushroom swiss burger. Deep fried mushrooms were really good. Onion rings were ok. They had a little much batter. Great atmosphere! Our waitress was great!

Great local dive. Waitress was super friendly and attentive. Burger was fresh meat and the bacon... Big thick slabs! Steak fries were great. The building has all sorts of eclectic items-bottom of a boat mounted to the ceiling, table mounted to a giant tree trunk as a base, table supported by spiral duct work, and lots of signs and decorations in the walls. Very plesant surprise on the way through.

My husband and I came here with a group of locals while we were visiting them. Upon arrival, we were told by our waitress that it would be an hour wait for food and she recommended ordering apps. She said she was going to take another table’s drink order and if we were ‘still there by the time she got back’, she would take our orders. When she came back to take our order for food and drinks, she discouraged one of our friends from ordering the combo platter because it would take the longest to come out, even though he was aware of the wait time. He switched his order. After 10-15 minutes of not having drinks, another member of our party goes to the bar to get pull tabs. He sees our waitress coming inside from smoking. He asked the bartender for our drinks and brought them to our table. Our waitress later comes by, telling us to not be afraid to go to the bar if we can’t find her…indicating that we probably won’t see her for most of the night, which we didn’t. Tables around us that had different servers, came and went far before us, which was extremely frustrating. We were fine with an hour wait for food, but it was nearly 2 hours by the time we got our food. Our friend, who ordered a baked potato, received her food last. By this time, we were the last table left in the restaurant. When we asked for our bill, some of the tickets were wrong. Our waitress asked to take our cards and she would correct it at the POS, but we asked for new bills before she did so. The bartenders did buy us a round of drinks for our troubles, which was nice. The rest of the staff were great. I understand being short staffed, especially working in an industry that has suffered many consequences of the pandemic. However, this was more than being understaffed. Our waitress referenced us being her last table multiple times, and it was pretty apparent that she wanted to leave and was disappointed that we sat down in her section. The restaurant slowly became less busy, and other tables who got there after us got their food before us. The food was great, the bartenders were great, and other servers seemed wonderful. Unfortunately we were unlucky and our service was horrible.

Was highly recommended by my father. So my husband and I decided to take our children there for dinner tonight. We showed up at exactly 6:49pm. The place was packed. There were 2 dirty empty tables. My family stood next to one, waiting for someone to come clean it. The 3 ladies that were working started to notice us and one of them went to clean the other table 1st. Finally she came over and cleaned the table we were standing next to. Took our drink orders and walked away. Once the table dried it was extremely sticky. We were ready to order within a few minutes and put all our menus together at the end of the table for the waitress. It took her a good 10-15 minutes to bring us our drinks & to take our orders. I started getting frustrated by 7:43pm that our food hadn't arrived yet, as my boys started getting antsy. I was ready to walk out as the waitress finally showed up with the appetizer just before 8pm. My family of 4 had it gone within 15 minutes. We started to realize there were people who had shown up after us that were eating before us. 8:30pm rolls around no word from anyone, and still no food! I'm about to freak out! I step out for a smoke to cool down, I get a text from my husband at 8:35pm that the food showed up finally. The coleslaw was like eating straight mayo, the fries were dry and gross, and the burger was amazing.... but not worth the $80.18 that we paid. I didn't eat my coleslaw or fries (because of how gross they were) the waitress never checked on us and when we did interact with her she seemed burnt out and unpleasant. We were expecting a pleasant experience, and good food, and to leave a really good tip.... instead we got the opposite and made sure to leave exactly $80.18 w/$0.00 tip. I feel like I got ripped off leaving what I did... but it is what it is. Just don't want to go back there and won't be recommending to anyone.

First time going since I moved up here years ago. The food was excellent, I was able to request my sandwich in a specific way which was awesome and really enjoyed the experience and time I was there. A little warm inside for me today but the fans going were a great help. A clean and very open space which was also great! It was more family friendly than I had thought though I don't have any little ones anymore. All of the staff were extremely nice and helpful. Definitely a place I'll be going back to as well as recommending to out of town family & friends. If you live here but haven't tried it yet it's worth checking out. One issue for me? They've got Pepsi and not coke. That would have made it perfect.

Overall the food has been good with the exception of their fries. The last few times they have been so overcooked and disappointing. Good fries definitely make the experience much better.

Excellent service from the bar tender to the waitstaff! I had a juicy upside down cheeseburger with fried onions and an order of onion rings the size of a softball! Wouldn't think twice to stop back in when we're passing through!

The sconny poutine was amazing, will not knock stars for the onion rings they where hudge but needed some seasoning, the extreme mushroom melt and the chedder melt where our favorite.
