Honestly some of the best Chinese (Cantonese style) I have ever had "overall" Hot and sour soup was unique with good flavor and ingredients. Singapore Street noodle was excellent. Honey chicken tender and good. Fried rice done in a style that is hard to find with white rice properly being used! Most importantly we arrived @ 9:15pm and they served us without any complaints while one of the ladies was singing along quietly to American pop music 🎶🤣👍

I was expecting Golden Inn to be good and satisfy my craving for a filling meal in a town basically devoid of vegetarian options. I was not expecting to be genuinely impressed by the quality of the food. My partner and I got three entrees: Kung Pao tofu, vegetable lo mein, and sesame tofu (we like leftovers) and each one was delightful! I was impressed in both the quality and quantity, and that the tofu in our dishes was prepared in two distinct ways. Highly recommend! Their lunch specials and combos seem like good deals too. Our server was very nice and attentive-- easily the best table service I've had in town

Beautiful restaurant, great food, and even vegan options for my sister. One of the best waitresses ever! $20 for both of us to have a full meal with a side, and go home with leftovers. Probably the cheapest and greatest food you can get

I've lived in Minnesota for 27 years, and looked for good Chinese food everywhere. In fact, this region might be the hardest place in the United States to find good Chinese food. I finally found it in Superior Wisconsin. This has got to be the best Chinese restaurant within several hundred miles. The food is absolutely perfect, I cannot recommend this place highly enough. The Chicken Mala Kew is my personal favorite, followed closely by the beef version of the same dish.

Definitely they could brag to be the best Asian restaurant in the area! The meals have authentic Chinese taste that is not oily and MSG filled. Large serving size with fresh ingredients. Service is fast and the waitress is very welcoming. This is definitely the kind of Chinese food a true Asian like me look for. We would definitely come back to this place every time we pass by Duluth.

I ordered chicken chow mein to go and was excited because I don’t get it often. I opened it up when I got to my hotel after driving all day and had a container with mainly celery, some chicken and bean sprouts in a light colored sauce that definitely wasn’t chow mein. I have no idea what I got but it had no noodles, no sauce with soy sauce, oyster sauce, garlic and ginger like you would expect with actual chow mein. Maybe the order got mixed up. The service was good and I was hoping it’d be good but definitely not what I ordered. Not sure if it was a mix up or they actually think that that’s chow mein

Food was delicious, our server was attentive, cheerful, and successfully helped me pick my meal. The portions were good sized, served family style, fresh, and flavorful. The prices were decent, on par with most other Asian restaurants, even the appetizers were prices reasonably, with decent portions. An overall great experience!

Great food! Clean restaurant. Food was served hot and made fresh. I got the sezuan lo mien hope I'm spelling that correctly. It was really good. I asked for it spicy and hold the shrimp. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Fantastic food and lots of it! Ordered a variety of items for delivery so I had a good selection to try. I was amazed how hot the food was when it arrived! The amount of food was also amazing. Ill get another meal out of the left overs. Highly recommended!

I was blown away by the extensive menu and quality of food. It's definitely a step above your typical American Chinese food with more specialty Szechuan and Cantonese dishes. Service was attentive and excellent. We ordered an appetizer, soup, and two entrees and with a 20% tip it was only $40!!!! Looking forward to coming back!

They have a great variety of dishes to choose from. It all is good. You will not go away hungry because they serve lsrge amounts of food. Staff is real friendly.

This is, or was, my usual go-to Chinese spot, but my last experience was a very big letdown, and I am unsure if I will be back. I had ordered a Happy Season like I normally do, but this time, the food had a very bad smell. It smelled of old urine, I wish I was joking, but it was so bad that I couldn't even eat it. I definitely don't think it had urine it, but I was not going to eat with how off-putting the smell was. My partner and child's meal was fine, and they had no complaints at least, I should have said something to our waitress about my meal, but it was Fathers Day and very busy. Our waitress was very sweet and I didn't want to add more to her busy day.

We took my mom out for her birthday. The restaurant was clean and quiet. We were seated right away. The waitress took our with a smile. The portion was huge! The food was fantastic. It was the perfect eating experience.

We've been going to this restaurant since I was a child, and the food and portions have always been amazing! This last time,though... We asked for SPICY General Tso's. My husband and I ended up with mild. Like, my mother, who cant handle black pepper half the time, even said it didnt have any kick. Flavor was great, but we wanted heat on a cold day.

Dirty place/poor service. Food was lacking in flavor - we had 4 different plates & no one liked their food. We ended up grabbing pizza an hour later instead. Generally run down restaurant as far as appeal. (Inside)

Ok, so I going to preface this by saying, spicy here...is not spicy. Quality is a solid 8, apps are a good, service is a solid 9 of 10. Whole staff friendly and happy to help. Overall, not your city chinese.....but a filling quality meal with fair pricing and a atmosphere to bring your kids or date. Pleasantly supprised. Well worth a second visit if I am in the area.

Ordered delivery. It showed up steaming hot in ENORMOUS portions. Genuinely surprised in the best way. Two of us ate 3 meals each with what we Ordered. (We ordered 2 dinner meals and extra wantons). We were recommended by friends who work there part time and took a chance. safe to say this is our new go to!!!

Service was decent, no one came back to check on us if we needed anything. We had to flag them down but everyone was super nice and helped us. Food was good. Nothing special. Avoid the egg drop soup, it was bad. Looks like it was barely microwaved. It wasn’t soup-y, at all. It was kinda goopy. Other than that, the egg fried rice was good. The orange chicken tastes like an actual orange was used. My husband didn’t like it and to me it was okay. Portions were super good.

Couple of us gorged ourselves on apps and dinners big enough to feed four. Leftovers galore! Food is good not great, sometimes barely worth the wait. Due to the lack of options I would eat here again.

Always had good food and big portions but this time was bad. The happy family had hardly any meat in it at all, $12.95 for Chinese vegetables is all i got and the ham fried rice was terrible with a few specs of ham. The owner offered no compensation for a regular customer.

Ordered the general Tso. My order time was one hour and it showed up early super awesome nope soggy chicken like it was sitting in the to go box for a hot min before I get it chicken is super hot temperature wise but soggy not happy and not ordering for awhile.

My boyfriend and I absolutely love golden inn. We have tried many of the other Asian restaurants around the Duluth-superior area and golden inn is BY FAR our favorite. The combination special is $10.75 but the portions are so massive I usually get 3 meals out of it! Well worth the price. The food is delicious. I have had good experiences and a few poor. There have been a couple of times I’ve had to wait 45-50 to get my food but for the most part we have always gotten our food VERY quickly. Their takeout is incredibly fast as well! I highly recommend this place for anyone in or visiting the twin ports area.

Wontons and sweet and sour shrimp not cooked all the way. I’m very pregnant and can’t eat undercooked foods and she wasn’t willing to give me a refund. I’m so upset I wasted my money here.
