Best vegetarian roast I've ever had. Best in Surrey for sure. Excellent veggie options. I will be back.

Delicious food, wine and beer in a lovely atmosphere. Our waiters Chris and Eve, and all the staff were friendly and professional. The chef made me this fabulous off menu meal because I mentioned how much I'd like pasta with my chicken Milanese. Apparently they do takeaway pizzas from their stone pizza oven too. I took my leftovers home so I get to enjoy it again tomorrow!

Fantastic service on a busy Sunday, great food and amazing attention to detail. Quesadilla was fabulous and nachos, halloumi fries and the dip delicious, pizzas excellent and the roast beef, my friends said were perfect. Lovely friendly and relaxed service, my new favourite place!

Really great quality food - we had pizzas, pork chops and the butter chicken, all were fantastic. They cater for children. Great service mmm, we enjoyed the evening.

Great food. Excellent atmosphere. Outstanding service. We had pizzas, which were all very well presented and very tasty. Eve was friendly, gave us some useful advice and served us quickly, but without making us feel rushed. We felt the service was outstanding and went beyond what we could have expected. We will be back.

The Surrey Cricketers is the best pub in Windlesham for food. Pizza, burgers and more sophisticated items are on the menu. There is even a curry that is more authentic than the local curry house! The outside space is wonderful when the weather is fine, but there is a wood burner in the main part of the pub which makes it cosy in the winter. All the staff are very efficient and friendly. I particularly like Chris, who always has a smile on his face and is great to chat to. There is a good wine list if you are drinking a full bottle. My one request would be that finer wines are made available by the glass.

Excellent food in a lovely pub and the service was superb. I loved the beef cheek dish and also the scotch egg. The service is so good! The head waiter actually gave us a breather before the starter and main and asked us when we were ready for the second course. The atmosphere is brilliant! Happy people in a beautiful pub! Superb choice of beers and drinks too

The food was inspired by Italy but it wasn’t truly Italian. Pizzas were very good nonetheless and the service very good. It was a very busy night and it took almost an hour to be served but okay. Biggest problem was the atmosphere. It was extremely loud and noisy which made it a bit difficult to have a nice meal and conversation. Parking was also a bit tight

Been about 10 years since we went there, big changes, for the best in my view. Quality outside eatery, good menu and very good service at not an unreasonable price.

This is a brilliant pub for outdoor family gatherings. They have a large garden with small and big tables, even one table big enough to fit 14 on. The small playground gives kids a safe space to go play, even if its aims at 5 years and under - older kids can still go and run around without being underfoot. You can see them for most tables. The food is a little bit on the expensive side, especially the Sunday roast, but it's of good quality. The pizzas are particularly good. The staff were wonderful, so friendly and accommodating. We had a brilliant time. We did not use the indoor, but just passing along, it has beautiful interiors for a wonderful evening dinner.

This was our first visit to The Surrey Cricketers. It was a busy Sunday lunch service but staff were all very professional, attentive, efficient and polite. The food and drinks were all served promptly and all looked appetising. The food was fresh and tasty. We can recommend the beef roast; the lamb roast and the fish and chips. It is clearly a popular place which made it a little noisy - perhaps some quiet background music might help .... We really enjoyed our lunch!

Great family pub with lovely indoor and outdoor areas. Really good food, highly recommend the pizzas which are delicious! Have visited on quite a few occasions now and always have a good experience, the team are all very friendly and service is great.

Ah what a shame! We used to come here with the kids and the dog, enjoy a pint in the sun watching kids playing in the playground whilst the dog chilled after her walk. Unfortunately now you must choose to either bring kids or dogs. ☹️ The tables near the playground are no longer dog friendly! 🥺 and if you bring your pooch you end up in an area where the tables are all crammed together with limited view of playground and you spend most of your time walking between the table and the playground. Not at all relaxing and what an absolute shame. I realise this doesn’t affect anyone without a dog but if you have a well behaved pooch who goes everywhere with you it is just a shame this place is now not as good. P.S. food is still great 👍🏻 and the live music was fab.

Food not great, poor portions and hardly any flavour. Was better a year or so back, not sure what's happening. Punching well above it's weight when you consider the quality offered for the price

Love the food. Service was fairly quick and friendly. Heaters and kids play area outside with plenty of seating and a decent size restaurant inside.

We love the Surrey Cricketers and visit regularly with our kids. The food is really good! Chris is great - he is so helpful and is so good at looking after customers. My parents always get a friendly welcome from him when they come to visit us from Scotland.

Our first visit and a brilliant time. The garden was super busy but the drinks and food all arrived quickly with no mistakes which is rare these days! Delicious food, decent prices and great service from Chris. We will be back

Nice pub in a nice village. The atmosphere and setting are also nice. A little bit of confusion with the order but they tried hard to sort it out as quickly as they could. The Gluten Free pizza's were really good as well which meant my Coeliac Daughter was well catered for.

What an amazing find. Excellent service, very friendly. Very good food, no errors with the orders. Great setting and lovely atmosphere. Live singer was great, made for a fabulous evening.

We've been here a couple of times and it suits us down to the ground. A couple of decent beers on tap, pizza from a wood-fired oven and a covered outdoor area when it's too hot to sit indoors. Plenty of staff serving and the two guys running the show are really attentive. To cap it all, it's not expensive. What's not to like?

I had memorable time in that hidden gem yesterday with my daughter. When I enter the pub felt like I been taken to magical place, to such a warm peaceful place with good feelings from start till leaving. That were exactly why I felt in love with English heritage over 17 yrs ago.Have delicious dinner and can highly recommend starter with goat cheese and asparagus which was to die for. My daughter had crispy calamari which were fantastic too same as our main course fish and chips and goat cheese pizza. Decided to try both 1st time in my life and definitely wasn't disappointed. Chef is literally magical worker as flavours and presentation were absolutely spot on and to die for. Not forgetting about Chris who were serving us meals with gigantic smile which put us at ease and make this dinner definitely much more enjoyable. I haven't have that much of a enjoyment in a long time. Magical place magical time and magical food . Definitely my favourite place from now on. Thank you team, we appreciate all efforts.
