I
am
extremely
disappointed
with
Jarir
Park
Mall
Tabuk’s
after-sales
service
and
feel
obligated
to
escalate
my
complaint
to
the
highest
authority
possible
in
an
attempt
to
achieve
resolution.
I
purchased
a
Dell
Inspiron
14
5410
2-in-1
Laptop
–
Convertible
Folder,
Intel
Core
i7
11th
Generation
from
Jarir
Book
Store
Tabuk
in
November
2021
for
4899
SAR
with
a
2-year
guarantee.
Upon
receiving
the
lap
top,
I
noted
a
bent
vent
bar
on
its
underside.
On
closer
inspection,
I
inadvertently
dislodged
it
and
it
fell
out.
The
laptop,
however
was
in
perfect
operating
order
and
I
thought
no
more
about
it.
Two
months
later,
I
noticed
that
certain
keys
on
the
keyboard
were
not
working
properly
and
required
extra
pressure
to
work.
This
progressively
worsened
resulting
in
a
number
of
keys
not
working
at
all.
Safe
in
my
warped
expectations
of
Jarir’s
renowned
‘after-sales
service’
(this
was
one
of
the
biggest
reasons
that
I
chose
to
purchase
my
laptop
at
Jarir)
as
well
as
my
2
year
guarantee,
I
approached
the
after-sales
service
department
at
the
store
I
bought
the
laptop
from.
From
the
outset,
the
gentleman
assisting
me
was
immensely
resistant
and
confrontational
–
he
made
me
feel
as
if
it
was
his
personal
mission
to
disprove
the
store’s
responsibility
to
uphold
the
guarantee
and
to
repair
the
laptop.
He
even
went
so
far
as
to
say
that
I
should
report
the
matter
to
a
national
ombudsman/authority.
After
much
back-and-forth,
supposedly
with
Jarir
Head
Office,
the
same
man
told
me
that
I
have
to
pay
240
SAR
courier
fees
to
send
the
laptop
to
be
repaired,
1
130
SAR
for
a
replacement
part
and
who
knows
how
much
for
labour
to
repair
my
laptop
and
courier
fees
to
return
the
laptop
to
me
–
estimated
well
above
2000
SAR
which
is
the
cost
of
a
new
laptop!
The
entire
episode
has
been
very
distressful
to
me
–
I
am
a
director
and
a
business
person
and
I
have
lost
a
lot
of
time
dealing
with
this
issue,
not
to
mention
time
and
revenue
wasted
by
not
being
able
to
utilize
my
laptop.
I
urgently
require
your
attention
to
find
a
suitable
resolution
to
my
complaint.
