Hyatt Place Taghazout Bay is in a beautiful location, the hotel property is stunning. It is only 22 miles from the Agadir International airport, the drive is approx. 1 hour. Non stop flights from Europe. If you want a first class 5 star Hyatt Experience that won't break your bank account this is it! The Staff will take care of you and treat you like family from the moment you step foot on the property. When you arrive you are transported to another universe. The front desk staff, Mohamed that will check you in show you the property and Mijid will help you to your room with your luggage. I asked for a mattress topper to make my bed softer, as I enjoy an American style bed to sleep, front desk staff was quick to handle within a few hours, no issues. Any request you ask for will be taken care of as quickly with a smile. The hotel has 152 rooms, 20 villas and 10 suites. The 3 bedroom villas have views of 27 hole golf course & private pools for added privacy. All of 152 rooms have floor to ceiling windows, very spacious, high speed wifi, 65 inch tvs, and large bathrooms with sitting benches & rain showers. They also have kids club and spa. The shuttle transportation the hotel provides is clean and comfortable. The property is situated inside gated area and is up on a hill with a view of the ocean. The Spa is beautiful, affordable and the staff is incredible. Zakia & Llham both given excellent massages. Rachida is always helpful and helping translate from French/Arabic to English. The ladies at the spa are kind, gentle an give the best massages. They have an affordable 4 day spa package. For all my spa lovers out there, they have sauna, cold pool and Jacuzzi. They perform all different types of massages, I would recommend the Balinese one ( very relaxing). They have facials, waxing, provide any service you can think of. The hotel also has nightly musical entertainment during dinner, Omar is amazing waiter that takes care of you every night and remembers your drink orders. The entire resturant staff is amazing. The entertainers/singers are highly quality musicians that can sing in English, French and Spanish. They have opened a pop up tie bar called Hybar that does cocktails nightly from 6:30-9:30 p.m. features beautiful sunset views, you will dream about, cocktails, cocktails and live entertainment with a DJ. It the spot to be for sunset in Taghazout. You will not find another Hyatt Place in the world like this one. To all my Hyatt Loyalist/Travel Bloggers, don't sleep on this place to get extra nights for your Hyatt Mattress runs. For the families, they have 2 pools, children pool and an adult only pool. They have plenty of adult loungers for you to relax around the children's pool. The pool staff is amazing, they remember your order, anticipate your needs and treat you like your part of the family. Ahmed at the pool bar, knows my drink order, how I want my water and will take care of you! We haven't even gotten to talk about the food or the breakfast. They have a large breakfast buffet every morning as long as you are World of Hyatt member ( everyone should sign up its free) Your breakfast is included with your rate, certain room rates will also include breakfast. They good selection of drinks/food you can enjoy in the pool or in one of the comfortable lounge chairs. These aren't normal pool loungers, there are high quality hotel sun beds, there are more than enough for each guest. No more fighting or waking up early to throw your towel on a chair. They're are also shaded double beds at the pool that are amazing for working or relaxing outside of the sun. The wifi extends outside of the hotel building for emailing and social media at the pool. All of the hotel managers care about making this hotel the best Hyatt, Charles cares about his staff and his guests, it shows in the way the hotel staff treats everybody they come in contact with daily. Rachid is smart and understands that Hyatt Globalist are champions for the Hyatt brand.

Avoid at all cost, will explain later when I have time but if you are looking to pay for a 5* and get a 3* in exchange that’s your place. (Visited in August 2022) Taghazout is a wonderful place but just don’t go to this hotel. We had two King suites booked (a double and a single) @ 250€/night. We were given only one suite (which makes sense given the price we paid but that was not what was in our reservation, when you make a mistake you still owe your clients). That should have been the best type of room in the hotel but have a look at the picture below !! Incredible to pretend to be a 5*. To be more specific : - no one welcomed us when we parked the car and we had to carry our luggage with no cart available (only one dude for the whole hotel + villas). Since we have children and had a long trip we would have liked some help. - confusion at the reception, people mad at them and shouting (not a good sign). - almost paid double the tax that was due (the guy made a mistake). - my baby (less than one year) took a big piece of glass that was left over the floor and almost ate it. I am fortunate that my wife spotted it before she could reach her mouth. - the room was terrible and dirty. - service was extremely bad and confused. - low quality buffet breakfast (same level as Ibis budget to be honest) with horrible coffee, a lot of waste and low hygiene (everyone touches everything). - low quality dinner buffet with outrageous amount of food wasted. - kids club extremely boring and stinking diapers (kids watching Titounis channel on YouTube on the tv). - bad taste music played loud round the pool could be heard from the room. - people (not the hotel’s fault) not very well mannered round the pool (leaving their towels in the morning on the chairs and coming back hours later) - small supermarket on the ground floor with scandalous prices (and I am far from being stingy)

My mom and I stayed in this hotel and I wish it was a pleasant stay. It was far from pleasant. Firstly I will just say the good things about this hotel and it’s only 1 thing which is the staff. They are really nice and try their hardest to figure everything out. That’s all that was good about it. - The first issue we faced was the room, the ac is the worst ac I have ever seen. It’s really bad and it’s so hot we were literally showering every couple of hours with cold water because it was way too hot and when we asked for someone to come fix it multiple times no one came and they just came up with excuses like there’s a heat wave we can’t do anything about it which for a five star hotel is just unacceptable. - Second issue we faced is when my mom and I arrived from essoueira and because it was so hot we decided to take a shower. The towels did not smell clean or fresh I had my own towel but my mom had to use theirs. She did not think much of it because again it is a five star hotel she showered and we slept. Next day my mom woke up with a rash all over her arms and body unexpectedly and out of no where. We went to the pharmacy and he said it was transmitted through either the bedsheets or towels. We then went back to the hotel furious into the pack of hygiene and when we decided to go to the room to our surprise there was a really big cockroach on the bed. Fast forward to us complaining they decided to switch the room while we were about to switch room with the concierge with us there was another big cockroach to our surprise there was a cockroach infestation in the hotel!! - Next day we complained to the manager and he was very kind enough to give us a complement dinner on the hotel and a discount on the price (the price for this hotel is so expensive and not worth it at all a total scam). When we received our complement dinner I found a long hair in my food. Not surprised of course because the hygiene in this hotel is awful (the people in the kitchen don’t wear a proper hairnet or gloves when they handle food it’s so dirty and nasty it’s actually so concerning) To sum up this complaint, there was way more issues we were facing I have talked with people who were staying in the same hotel (guests from America and holland) they all faced the same issues such as lack of hygiene the hotel is nasty just absolutely disgusting and awful and the lack of service is just awful you literally will not have a relaxed time and will just want to pack your bags and leave. My mom and I went to the airport 5 hours early just to escape and leave this hotel. I do not recommend it at all and I hope they fix all this before someone ends up in the hospital due to the lack of hygiene.

one of the best hotels we've been to, the infrastructure is just great and the hotel is very well maintained. The rooms are quite big, we had a seaview room and the view was breathtaking. We tried the spa and it was a beautiful experience; the jacuzzi is really nice and their massages are one of the best. The buffet for dinner was nice, as per the breakfast it could be better for a 5 star hotel. During the breakfast there were too many waiters just standing but no added service. The experience was very good overall and I would like to come back.

We have just come back from a weeks stay in this hotel and I felt like it’s important to leave a review as I feel like it wasn’t what we were expecting unfortunately. The day when we arrived around 1pm our villa wasn’t ready so we had to wait around with 2 small kids. We emailed the hotel prior that if we could have the cot set up when we arrive, once we got to our villa there was no sign of the cot. The evening buffet was good, lots of choice for kids and grownups. The breakfast was okay, not much choice but enough. It got very repetitive after few days. The egg station as they called it was disappointing, basically only did omelette or scrambled eggs. Nothing what you would expect from a 5 star hotel. The service was very slow in general. Especially for lunches where we had to wait for food and drinks for 1.5h not ideal if you have hungry kids. Even just to get an orange juice it took a hour one lunch time. Our 3 bedroom villa was nice and spacious and clean. Good set up , the garden and private pool was good but unfortunately the pool was freezing cold so not usable even with the wetsuit. The hotel main pool which looked lovely but it was not heated so again not usable, they also had a so called smaller heated pool but I’m not convinced it was heated, it was slightly less cold than the main pool but again we couldn’t use it as it was very cold. It was my first ever holiday where I couldn’t swim even once and obviously very disappointing for everyone. Also they really have only 1 restaurant where is also the breakfast and buffet dinner and the weather was rubbish during our stay so the pool bar was closed. So the food options were very limited. I read from previous reviews that they had a kids club which is not true as it’s a small room with few toys and books that’s about it. Not much to do with kids. There were cats everywhere running around in the hotel, which i didn’t mind as I love cats, but one of the workers told me not to let my kids touch them aa they are ill??? It was extremely windy for our whole stay so the villas are not really built for this weather as we had power cuts most evenings, also the rain leaks and sliding doors were making so much noise throughout the night which made it impossible to have a good night sleep. Also the beds were very hard and uncomfortable. There was a smell of sewage in the bathrooms. The cleaning was done in a very good standard. BUT the level of service is not to a 5 star standard, 3/4 at a push. We had so many incidents where we didn’t get what we ordered or requested, even the last morning I went to the reception to get our luggage picked up as we were leaving in an hour while we went to have breakfast, as we come back an hour later , no one knew anything about it and made us almost late for our airport transfer. So all in all I would not recommend this hotel.

I have heard and seen a lot of videos on TikTok glamorising this hotel. However, it can be quite misleading. Don’t get me wrong, is a beautiful hotel and the staff are wonderful BUT the location was a problem for me personally. This is because the hotel is in Taghazout Bay, a town outside of Agadir. It was an hour and bit drive from the airport. The closest shop/mini supermarket was an hour walk away. You could get a taxi but it would be pricey. The city of Agadir was a 30-40 min drive away, so if you are here for a week it can be costly to go into the city often. Taxis don’t come to this area often. All around the hotel are empty building sites for villas being built. There are minimal restaurants (three) nearby and all the food at those nearby restaurants were terrible. The interior looked good aesthetically but that was all. This meant that we had to rely on the food at the hotel which was mediocre. There is no nightlife nearby so the bar on site was all we had. There is of course a nightlife (late night restaurants, clubs, marina, etc.) in the city of Agadir but once again the travel time and money there and back would not make it worth it. SECONDLY, the cleaning standards were not the greatest. The hotel has a buffet service for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Every evening I could see food crumbs on the table from breakfast. In addition to this, the chairs used in the communal areas do not look like they have been cleaned EVER. Full of black and brown stains, I felt dirty sitting on those chairs and it triggered my anxiety/OCD a little bit. THIRDLY, there is only one pool but the hotel have a free shuttle bus to take you to a private beach, which was lovely and the beach was amazing and refreshing. FOURTHLY, you’re stuck with the food at the hotel (buffet or set menu) and as I said it wasn’t the greatest. This holiday is great for someone who is happy with average buffet food and happy to never leave the hotel. FIFTHLY, there is no main light source in the hotel rooms, let me explain. There are three lamps (one on each side of the bed and one near the TV). During the day, this is completely fine as with the curtains open and the natural light, it brightens the room. However, once the night comes I’m playing blind man’s bluff!! I’m struggling to get ready for the evening due to ill lighting. Finally, to end on a good note, the body creams and shower gels they provide with the NUXE brand is amazing *chefs kiss*!!!

Worst experience in a long time. The service is unreasonable. You wait an eternity while to order something and several waiters stand around and have nothing to do. Once you get one who serves you, most waiters can't even speak English or take an order. The mini market is a bad joke. To charge prices that exceed even airport prices is a bottomless impertinence. Not to mention the Kids Club. Dull and dark room, with old play dough and incomplete games, which looks as bleak as a basement dungeon. Very disappointing when you expect a five star hotel and vacation atmosphere and get nothing but incompetent staff who have not understood the concept of service.

What an amazing place to stay. The views are unreal.. there are soo many places to just chill in the sun, and so very clean, a lovely picture perfect place. The staff are soo friendly and welcoming, especially Ridwan and Hamza. They even have a free minibus which takes you to the beach and picks you up every 40mins to an hour. The downside was that the spa was booked out, so during our entire 4 days stay we couldnt use spa at all. Other than that, this is a place id come back to again, great food, lovely rooms, clean place, friendly staff, amazing views, what more could you need.

I stayed here last week with a friend and loved it! Moroccan people - staff and guests - are so wonderful. We were treated really well and hope to visit again. My highlight was the pool & the breakfast buffet. The staff: especially the waiter (Said?) and the cocktail server with glasses were all v professional and friendly. The chefs are also amazing - I loved the omelettes and was pleasantly surprised by how good the pasta was! Yes, the rooms are a little tired and could do with a revamp. I also think they could be clearer on vegetarian options and try to cut down on plastic water bottles. Also on our last day they ran out of sunbed towels and no one was on duty and I didn’t get one all morning. These are small gripes that I hope they maybe address in the future. Overall a great stay and thank you!

Fun times, kid friendly, great breakfast buffet. Clean. Friendly staff. Live music on during dinner buffet. It is a 7 minutes drive to the beach front. A hotel shuttle can take you there. Loved the sunset spot with live Dj. Lots of medicinal plants are all over the property. Good schedule of activities. The gym is well equipped for basic training.

Not the best stay, food was good and the kitchen staff were lovely. However the front desk were slightly rude and reluctant to help with anything ie printing a boarding pass or helping with a transfer. Provided very little water and you had to pay 3 times the price from a shop down the road.

Everything was perfect. The rooms are big and spacious, the staff is incredibly nice, and theres everything you need within the hotel facility. The only downside is that you're a bit isolated from everything but they've organized many free transportation that take you to taghazout, the beach and even Agadir. The negative reviews I've read are from very entitled people, and I've seen a few of them during my week there. The staff was so patient with them 👌 My only comment is that it would be nice for the hotel to have a water facility where people can fill their bottles instead of giving us small plastic bottles everyday!

We had an amazing stay at this hotel! The welcome was warm, the staff were very helpful, and the room was comfortable and clean. I loved the view from my window, and the breakfast was delicious. The location was perfect, close to local attractions. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an unforgettable stay.

Nice experience in Hyatt tagazout, stayed for few days there, lovely staff, try to help you , clean rooms , food is ok , you have a buffet breakfast with croissant, jam, eggs and specially the marocian tea with dates. 2 swimming pool , heated one for kids and big one not heated, clean. They offer you clean towels to make your journey easier. The hotel take you to another world , you get disconnected completely from the poor area around. Will be back✈️👍.

I was looking forward to spend a lovely weekend with my wife (newly married), I made sure I called before check in and the staff told me that they will prepare the room. however once there nothing special was made for us, room temperature was 34°C and only 2 little water bottle (not even fresh) were there. That not even the worst thing, someone from the staff entered our room the next day without even knocking, very impolite and miles away from being professional. Very disappointing experience overall!

Very well designed property, great breakfast, and the pool area is beautiful. Dinner was delicious with excellent service, we ordered a la carte instead of the buffet which I believe was a good choice.

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at the Hyatt Palace in Taghazout, Agadir! The moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a stunning view of the ocean from my room. The room itself was spacious, beautifully designed, and kept spotlessly clean throughout my stay. The hotel's amenities were top-notch - the pool area was a tropical paradise, and the on-site restaurants offered a delectable variety of cuisines. I especially enjoyed dining with a view of the sunset over the ocean. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay memorable, offering helpful recommendations for local activities and always ready with a smile. The location is also perfect for exploring the beautiful Taghazout area. Overall, my experience at the Hyatt Palace was nothing short of exceptional, and I can't wait to return for another unforgettable vacation!" Remember to tailor your review based on your own personal experience and impressions if you've stayed at the hotel.

We were staying here during the recent earthquake in September. The hotel didn’t even acknowledge it which was super disappointing. The night it happened there was no communication which left us feeling even more concerned. We spent the night outside trying to sleep on a towel until another guest finally told us that it was cleared to return to the rooms. Natural disaster aside, the room was comfortable, and we enjoyed the balcony. The food was pretty average, the best meal was the poolside grill. They do a buffet-style breakfast and dinner in their main dining. The hotel did have live music one night then had a DJ playing another night until like 1 am which may keep you up. This hotel is not on the beach or within walking distance, they have a sister property with beach access which you can go to by shuttle or car.

Nestled against the picturesque backdrop of Morocco's coastline, Hyatt Place Taghazout Bay is nothing short of a paradise for those seeking a luxurious retreat. The resort perfectly blends modern design with traditional Moroccan touches, ensuring every guest feels both at home and on a unique adventure. The rooms offer panoramic views of the ocean or the beautifully maintained golf course, complemented by top-notch amenities and plush bedding. The infinity pool, overlooking the bay, is the perfect spot to unwind and soak in the mesmerizing sunsets. Dining here is a gastronomic journey with an array of local and international cuisines. The breakfast buffet is particularly commendable, offering a generous spread that caters to varied palates. For those looking to explore beyond the hotel, Taghazout village, known for its surfing community, is a short drive away. The hotel staff is always eager to assist with excursions and local recommendations. A special mention goes to the service team at the Hyatt Place. They go above and beyond to ensure guests have a memorable stay. Their warmth and hospitality truly embody the essence of Moroccan generosity. All in all, Hyatt Place Taghazout Bay is a haven for relaxation and exploration. Whether you're a solo traveler, a couple, or a family, this place promises an unforgettable experience

I totally agree with the review from H Cairns. We were most disappointed with how the hotel provided food. It does not cater for the light eater as the main provision- every night - is a buffet and unless you can fight your way to the front of the swarm of locals you will go hungry. The way people fall upon the food has to be seen to be believed, I lost my appetite as I was reminded of the way gannets feast on a shoal of sardines. The Catering manager and locals should be ashamed of themselves. Not something I wish to experience again and can’t recommend anyone else should- you have been warned.

We went to Southern Morocco in December, but January is also a perfect time to visit this amazing country. The weather is simply perfect, not cold as in Europe and not too hot like during their summer. And the best place for a holiday filled with relaxation in Taghazout Bay is Hyatt Place. The rooms are so nice and comfy, well equipped and with a great view to the pool and ocean. My favorite area is the pool area, filled with luxuriant plants and big palm trees. The sunset here is out of this world. You can enjoy drinks at the bar located near the pool and watch the sun go down and its trembling reflection the pool’s water is amazing. I also loved the breakfast time where they’ve had an open buffet with so many fruits, freshly squeezed juice in a big venue and with such a nice design where they have combined some big wicker panels and marble countertops, with big windows from where the sun wished you to have an amazing day. So, if you are in search of the perfect place to relax after the holidays, I totally recommend Hyatt Place Taghazout Bay as it is an oasis of peace. Perfect views + good food is always a winning combination.

We were very happy to spend our anniversary at Hyatt place Taghazout, the place is great and you can see that the management is invested in making the guests experience memorable, although I've got to say that the staff are not always adhering to that commitment, i am not sure if it s the staff shortage at the facility or lack of training but you have to wait for hours waiting for simple services or just to order especially at night. Hopefully this would be fixed at our next visit.

One of the best hotels I’ve ever been to. Not only is the location amazing in a quiet area with an amazing view but the staff is outstanding. My family and I were staying in the residences and everyone made our stay great. At the front desk Karim and his knowledge about the property and him doing his best to give us pointers about what to do in the area was extremely helpful. He is also super professional and answered any questions I had. The residence itself was beautiful and the housekeepers were able to help in every way possible as they did their best to make our stay relaxing and enjoyable. The housekeepers Laila, Soukaina, and Monia were so helpful and did their best to make my family happy. They were one of the best housekeeping groups I’ve ever had. It’s people like them that make us want to come back and we will definitely be coming back. Great job to everyone and thank you for everything.

We just spent a perfect vacation in this hotel. The employees who work there are super attentive and very kind. The quality of the food and the cleanliness of the hotel were also perfect. I recently visited this hotel for a hen party (x7 people & x1 baby). We rented a villa and a double room for 3 nights, 4 days. Positives: - Spa facilities were amazing & several of the guests had the 50 minute massage & commented on how great this was - We took out half board which included breakfast & dinner. Breakfast was as expected with an eggs station and lots on offer. Dinner provided lots of options & the tagine was particularly nice. - Pool facilities in the hotel and private villa were clean & enjoyable - The villa was large and perfect for a large party. Housekeeping were a particular treat. They were lovely and looked after us well Areas to improve: - This is down as a 5 star resort but the customer service was not up to this level. We had a 5 month old baby in the party but were simply told to wait & hand over passports on arrival. We had to chase reception after a 20 min wait to ask them for refreshments (water) and then chase again for timelines / next steps. - Once the room & villa were available it was a further 90 minutes before luggage arrived. We had to chase several times for this - The airport transfer was booked for 7 people and x1 baby car seat but we were x1 seat too less. Unfortunately this meant that we were cramped into a taxi which was unsafe. Upon arrival it took several attempts throughout the holiday for them to offer compensation on this with it only being resolved when we checked out. - The villa was given basic amenities which reduced the feeling of a 5-star treatment, and instead feeling like a budget villa. - When we took the shuttle to the sister hotel (Hyattt Regency), we were promptly kicked out of the pool. FYI that you are not allowed to use any of these facilities & only have access to their beach. This needs to be better communicated. - FYI that the nearest shop is a taxi ride away and the hotel shop is extortionate in price. We bought a 6 2l bottles of soft drinks which totalled £26. - A lot of the drinks menu was either unavailable (no prosecco for instance) or poorly made (cocktails were not made correctly and tasted poor, e.g. made from lime cordial rather than fresh limes). I would recommend the hotel as its clear they are trying and that this is a fairly new establishment, but definitely not up to 5* rating yet.

Hi Me and my family came to the Hyatt hotel for a small wedding celebration. We were all impressed by the beauty and the professionalism of the staff. Amazing hotel. I would give 5 stars for this. The reason why I gave 1 star is because while we were enjoying ourselves outside near the swimming pool, we noticed 2 couples not 1, 2 (!) inside the swimming pool, who were obviously mating. I am using the word mating with intention because I only saw ANIMALS doing it under the sky in front of other people. I found it disgusting. I think the hotel / staff must make sure that those things doesn’t happen anymore. We had to leave because of these PIGS.

Wide range of fresh food at the buffet. They even had an egg station, taking orders on demand. Delightful restaurant staff members, an honourable mention to Said. The room I stayed in was very spacious and which had a marvellous design. The infinity pool was very clean and staff provided towels. All staff were very friendly and were as helpful as they could be despite language barriers. Ilham and Nadia in housekeeping were exceptionally helpful.

Amazing stay, all staff are friendly and helpful, from the reception, to restaurants and the pool, and the spa, the staff are amazingly friendly. The facilities are in good condition and the breakfast& dinner are tasty. Nice place for children too, the kids room and kid pool are easy to use.

Great location . Breakfast was diverse & delicious . Rooms are big. Staff was great , i did not like the view in the allocated room and reception was very helpfull to change it Asap. The beach is a little bit far, but hotel offers free shuttle. Only point i did not like was the aunts and other insecrs in the room, i think a pest control is needed.

The pictures on booking and the reality don’t mach. We expected a quite a 5 star hotel with a beautiful pool area, instead that there where loud music every day in the pool area, no possibility to escape. The service people (especially reception) does not communicate- we did wait more then two hours to check in, in front of the desk, no one told us why, just silence and looking into the laptop. A lady offered us a voucher for a drink, immediately she was stopped by a colleague- no drinks, just a coffee or orange juice (would be ok, but why do you have to notice the discrepancy and cheat in front of the people?) Good breakfast and dinner buffet, not a lot of choice for vegetarian or vegan people. terribly dirty carpets in the aisles, not much better in our room. Service people at breakfast, dinner and especially bar were very kind, nevertheless we leaved with a feeling of disappointment….. so sorry to say that, for me not at all a 5 star hotel ….

This is a reply to the owner’s reply. We did not request any upgrade we wanted just to get what we booked. It seems that the culture of your hotel is unprofessionalism in all the means possible including your social media team. As an advice before you reply to any complain you have to study the case very well, we sent already an email to your GM Mr. Charles and i don’t think he will be happy reading your reply. Once again it’s the worst hotel i stayed in in Morocco. MISLEADING PICTURES VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

We spent 4 magical days here and were very impressed with the whole experience. Upon arrival we were told that our suite had been double booked for one first night but were offered a sea view room and complementary dinner which made up for it. The views from the hotel are stunning, especially watching the sunset from the balcony or outdoor bar. We made use of the spa and jacuzzi as well as getting one of the free shuttle buses to the beach. The resort has everything you would need for a relaxing break. The breakfast and open buffet dinner were both excellent. We would love to return again one day. Thanks to the staff for makes us feel welcome.
