👍👍 Went with my family here on New Year’s Eve - we were the only ones in the bar and the owners/hosts were some of the nicest people we met while in Takayama! We had a wonderful conversation with them, had great drinks, tasty snacks, and all at a reasonable price. Plus they have fun pub games to play!

Fantastic food. Really friendly atmosphere. Good drinks. Also vegan friendly so really anyone can come here. Also grab the Hida beef mini steak !

Truly great place. We stumbled upon it by chance and we were so happy we did. Loved the food and the service. We tried some sake tasting lead by Mishima, the host, who is a great chat, very friendly.

We had a lovely evening at Bar flame! The Okonomiyaki was delicious and the owner is really kind and speaks decent English! I recommend this place to everyone who wants to have a good meal in a cosy and welcoming restaurant!

Very nice place to go to! The owner is kind and accomodating, making you a custom cocktail if you want (and a good one too!). Good food and fun puzzles and games lying around.

Really good atmosphere - we had an amazing time there. The owner speaks fluent English. I would suggest the sake tasting - I had enjoyed is (and then ordered another round)

Just a normal bar with limited food to serve . very kind host . He helped to connect to nearest restaurant that serves food . They have all types of SAKE available . Good music plays all the time .
