Great steak house. Perfect place if you want to try local Hida beef. Very good value for money. On a bit pricey side but worth the money. The house sauce is especially good. Goes perfect with the steak. I tried both A4 and A5. A4 is a bit leaner so may be easier to finish as a steak. Staff is very friendly and welcome to foreigner. If you arebin town, you must visit and experience the local Hida beef.

Delicious steak, tasty garlic rice, and a friendly staff. Get there early as it can fill up. Not to be missed.

The best western restaurant in town. Service, cleanliness, comfort, vibe, and food were all good. The Chateaubriand and the homemade ice-cream are must tries.

Sides were good. But the Chateaubriand steak was a disaster. Its surface was tough and dry, overcooked. Its inner was chewing and raw without good smell. They told me that was because of medium rare. I say it is you ruined a good steak.

Went here for the Hida beef steak as I heard this was the place to go. Several cuts of meat, all ranging in price, but fairly reasonable (comparing to Kobe beef). I opted for the filet and enjoyed it very much. It was a little fatty for my liking, but the taste was delicious and the meat just so tender. Worth the stop.

This is the place to go for Hida Beef. In a tourist town, this is the local's choice. When we visited we were the only tourists and the place was busy. The menu had something for everyone, including our children. Service was top notch and very good with our kids. Prices are high, but expected and you certainly get what you pay for. Great value, great experience, great service. A must visit.

Very very good steakhouse. Prices are worth the quality of the beef. A small not so busy restaurant of the beaten path, it is worth the sidetrip as this is not located along the tourist road. Amazing experience to eat at this fine restaurant.

With a western look and feel, kitchen hida serves great hida steaks. Of course the higher the grade higher the price. A little pricy but worth a try. There are dishes(grill skirt steak & hamburger patty) with limited serving. Do pop by early to try them.

Came in by myself on a slightly rainy Saturday at 7pm, about less than half capacity when I entered so no wait time. Ordered the A5 250g tenderloin, medium rare and was cooked to perfection. Came with a side salad and a choice of rice or bread. Waiter and staff were very attentive and friendly and spoke excellent English. Handed me a hot towel as soon as I sat down. I seemed to be the only foreigner in at the time so it seems this place is popular among the locals. Portion sizes aside from the steak itself were fair, not much else on the main plate, but I can't complain. Also tried the Hida milk brulee, I'd give it an 8/10. Food: 9.5/10 Service: 11/10 Vibe: 8/10

I wanted to try hida beef in the form of a beef steak. Someone recommended this restaurant. It was located in a sort of a side street. Nice cozy interior. Wonderful service. I was thoroughly impressed with my first cut of the medium sirloin. Melted in my mouth. I took a bite of the tenderloin ordered by my wife. Wow. Incredible. I believe it was not just the quality of hida beef but also the way it was cooked in this restaurant. We were also impressed by the salad. So much so that we bought a bottle of the salad dressing they made inhouse. Unfortunately, the bottle was confiscated at Haneda Airport because I carried the 200ml bottle in my hand luggage unknowingly. Any liquid more than 100ml is not allowed to be handcarried.

Hida beef steaks in a retro japanese-western setting. We had the salad, sirloin and tenderloin, and finished with hida milk creme brulee. All were all made to perfection. Service was excellent.

Made a reservation over email through their website, restaurant was very prompt in responding and kindly accommodated date change. The A5 sirloin is probably the best steak we've had ever, superb marbling and the reverse sear cook is perfectly done, but the hidden gems are the cut steak lunch special for 3300JPY and their homemade ham, bacon and sausage. We will hopefully be back again!

🫤 Don't bother with this place, it is overrated. Parking outside and toilets inside. Seems very clean and the food was actually really good, but the service was slow and at exactly 3pm we were yelled at (and so we're other people), to get out as they were closing. We arrived at 2:15, took 10 minutes...
