The Elkonin is the closest you can get to Paris without leaving TLV. You honestly canโ€™t find this type of warm yet elegant service and ultra chic design anywhere else in the country. Even when we had an unfortunate snafu at check in the staff found a way to make up for it and then some. At every point during our stay we were met with generosity and kindness + the cake that was left in our room for my birthday was delicious!!! Speaking of deliciousโ€”if youโ€™re looking for actual French croissants in the Middle East look no further. Crispy, fresh, perfect. As was the rest of our breakfast. Weโ€™ll be coming back the second we feel weโ€™re in need of a European vacation without leaving the country. Thanks Elkonin team!

I had an extraordinary experience. From the moment we arrived until the time of the departure, every aspect exceeded my expectations and left a lasting impression on me. I would like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to the entire team. Your warm and welcoming reception, the professionalism and attentiveness of the managers, the impeccable service provided by the staff in the dining area, and every small detail that was taken care of made my stay truly remarkable. The room I stayed in was beyond comfortable and beautifully appointed. It was evident that great care was taken to ensure that every guest's needs and preferences were met. The attention to detail, from the luxurious amenities to the thoughtful touches, created a truly memorable experience. I want to emphasize that I do not take such exceptional service for granted. The dedication and effort that each member of your team puts into creating a delightful guest experience is truly commendable. Your commitment to excellence shines through in every interaction and adds to the overall ambiance of the hotel. Furthermore, I am already looking forward to the opportunity to return and experience the exceptional hospitality once again. Once again, please accept my sincere gratitude to each and every member of the Elkonin team. Your passion, professionalism, and attention to detail have made a lasting impression on me, and I am truly grateful for the extraordinary feeling of hospitality that I experienced during my stay. Warmest regards.

The hotel was brand new when we arrived. Location is 5 star and the staff is friendly and highly serviceable. Yet there were some minor kinks with regards to the newness of the hotel. No working table and chair in my room. I was un Israel for business. Problems with breakfast being served at 07:30 3 times out of 4. All staff I interacted with seemed junior and inexperienced. I still give it a 4 star review with a potential to 5 when these kinks disappear.

The hotel is amazing. Point! Although we are from Tel Aviv, we occasionally stay in Tel Aviv hotels. In my opinion it is the best hotel in Tel Aviv. A stunning boutique hotel, located in a special building from 1922 that underwent a massive renovation in the original style. Those who know Israel and even though the prices here are sky high, the hotel is exceptional from the hotel manager to the last employee. I really have no words for the extraordinary service, I have never met in Israel such service as in this hotel (unfortunately). The breakfast is not huge but every product is just accurate. I've only eaten egg croissants like this in France. The rooms are very nice, although the small ones are a bit small compared to the price you pay, but the room with the balcony in the conservation building is bigger and amazingly designed. Highly recommend visiting the hotel, if not staying there then have breakfast. I will return there in the evening to also eat at the chef restaurant and hope it will be accordingly.

From the first moment you enter the hotel you get a European feeling, as a civil engineer who specializes in preservation of buildings you cannot ignore the amazing building with the historical significance that makes the experience even more astonishing, the attention to all the details is commendable. The room was clean with control panel next to bed (Including control of the curtains and shading) which was nice, the view of Tel Aviv was marvelous (we have been upgraded to a stunning panoramic view of the sea and Neve Tzedek area). The breakfast is one of the best we had in Israel the closest you can get to Paris without leaving TLV. The staff was professional and attentive from the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were completely taken care of. Special thanks to Morgan, the hotel general manager for special care and dedication to help with everything required. Thanks Elkonin team.

There are only exceptional things: the Clarins spa, the restaurant of Chef Joel Robuchon, the decoration which is halfway between classic and modern, the location which is unique. but the most beautiful attraction is its Rooftop with its swimming pool and its bar! what a view! We do sport so we also liked the technogym equiped Gym. with my wife we โ€‹โ€‹particularly appreciated the degree of customer service which is, whatever the service, tailor-made. there is no classic reception but rather dedicated "Ambassadors" who take care of you. in short, an unforgettable experience. thanks to the team!

Very low value for money and poor service experience, unfortunately. The check-in takes a long time while there are way too many interruptions by the staff and things happening around that tiny desk by the staff which feels very chaotic. The rooms are nice but the furniture feels cheep for instance the paint is cracking on the custom made cabinet and other elements that you donโ€™t expect too see in a top-priced boutique hotel, the TV is attached to the wall with some improvised wooden cubes. The pool is DIRTY, you can see a layer of oil/SPF residue floating. The pool ladder is shaky and literally feels like it is about to completely detach from the wall. Almost time we asked the team for something it felt like they have no clue. No one to ask for a service/drink/water at the pool in Thursday morning until 13:00 feels really frustrating. Wanted to get a coffee at the bar, the employee has no idea how to make coffee, so I asked for a Coke Zero - no Coke Zero, asked for a sprite instead got an unopened bottle without any ice, and then the credit card reader isnโ€™t working, etc. you get the pointโ€ฆ After the first night, first thing that in the morning we asked to cancel the remaining nights since the booking was not placed ahead, the employee said that the manager will call us - waited for a few hours to hear back from her and they insisted to charge for an additional night (around $1000) - we left for a different hotel we know and visit regularly and are very happy with and gave this rooms to a couple of friends so at least that money doesnโ€™t go to waste. There are MUCH better options for boutique hotel in the city/area in my honest opinion. Really disappointed to leave this review but this really was a record breaking experience unfortunately.

My husband and I came to visit Tel Aviv for the first time and we had an extraordinary experience staying at Elkonin. The hotel itself is a historic site and the renovation is spectacular. It is situated in a walkable neighborhood full of restaurants, cafe's, natural food shops, boutiques, and galleries. The service is unmatched, as the team made themselves available for recommendations and suggestions even before our arrival. As soon as we arrived we were greeted with a friendly, warm team of people seeing to our every need. When we entered our room the team had gifted us a cake and bottle of bubbly in celebration of our anniversary, the thoughtful, hand written note was the cherry on top. Each morning we woke up to a banquet of a breakfast, and the quality of the food was to the highest standard. Don't miss the rooftop pool, well-equipped gym, and Hammam. Highly recommend, and look forward to coming back.

Staying in Elkonin made our experience very special! We loved the little but thoughtful touches and the team going out of their way - customer service is amazing! The breakfast every morning was so lovely! The whole hotel was a pure design inspiration too!

I had a tour of the hotel. Looks great, classic design combining the history and modern. A lot of personnel's touch combined with attention to detail. Can't write about the food as I did not try it. Includes the Robuchon restaurant, which follows the recipes of the late famous chef. Not casher. Great pool on the roof

A beautiful hotel with a mix of history and modernism. The building is incredible and the staff even more. I had the chance to try the restaurant l'Epoque by Robuchon and it was amazing. The famous "Purรฉe" only is worth the visit. If you stay there the team will take very good care of you and you will be able to enjoy Tel Aviv in the best possible way.
