After three weeks of touring Israel and Jordan we stayed at The Hilton in Tel Aviv. We checked in quite late and got to our rooms The room was well appointed and very comfortable but the bedding was really short. I’m 6’4” and fit in normal beds but the sheets didn’t even come past my chest when most hotels this isn’t an issue. 3/5 The view and location are aces 5/5 The service in the hotel is atrocious and where the scoring here really suffered. The restaurant waitstaff is inattentive and the front desk flat out ignores requests. We’d called down four times before a request was fulfilled 2/5 The amenities in the property are quite nice; the hotel gym is one of the nicest I’ve seen in the Hilton family. 5/5 Overall I’d score this hotel a 2/5 and don’t think I’d return. You may think that’s unreasonably low considering some of the higher scores I’ve given. When you consider the price point of $500+ a night that comes with a level of reasonable expectation and each time they failed to deliver. Knowing that, there’s better options. Will not return.

I had a wonderful stay. The rooms were extremely clean. The housekeeping was first rate. The food was excellent, the staff was very friendly. The shower was awesome, with lots of water flow. The hotel is located in the center of Independence Park and right on the beach. You could not ask for a better location. A special shout out to Carlos and his extremely helpful staff at the concierge desk; he made navigating Tel Aviv stress free and easy.

Great location. Premium room bedding very comfortable. Standard room bedding is just that... Great breakfast layout. I have stayed numerous times at the Vista where the standard of service is truly on par with the Hilton standard. Additionally Vista at Hilton has an amazing service manager, Mr. Kenigsberg who really makes your stay top of the line. Not a good use of Hilton points as the amount of Hilton points needed is high comparatively on top of which you are not entitled to most of your status Hilton benefits even if your reservation states otherwise.

Nice hotel, average food, horrible service. The pool manager yelled at us accusing us of trying to steal and sneak into the pool when the receptionist had previously told us to pay at the pool. The other person who was standing at the front of the pool had let us in and pay with him. Then, the original pool manager saw us, accosted us, and without even trying to listen to us, started yelling and trying to kick us out. Only when we were able to match his level of aggression did he stop for a second to understand that all we were trying to do was give him money and enjoy a relaxing pool day. While it could have all been a misunderstanding, if he had given us one second to explain ourselves it would've all been handled very differently. In any case, this was one of the worse experiences we've had at a hotel in Tel Aviv. Not the relaxing experience we were hoping for...

We would like to thank you for the warm attitude and wonderful hospitality from all the staff at the hotel. As a Diamond member who spends many days in Hilton hotels around the world we know that this days is not easy to operate a luxury hotel within the required limits but the staff at the Hilton Tel Aviv have done above and beyond We thank you very much for the hospitality and hope to come back soon.

Hilton Tel Aviv offers a superb location and commendable service. Situated conveniently, it provides easy access to the beach and city attractions. The attentive staff enhances the stay experience. However, the rooms appear slightly outdated compared to the price point, warranting a refresh. Despite this, the overall experience is pleasant, especially if the room aesthetics are not a top priority.

Room 442 Great clean room. Beautiful East facing so you get the morning sun plus city and sea views. The tv has a good selection of channels but wish it was had streaming. Great products in the bathroom. Ordered room service for dinner and breakfast. Fast friendly service wish there was a bigger selection. Great location.

Beautiful hotel, breakfast is superb and the pool is amazing. Pool staff is excellent. Staff at breakfast are nice but a little slow to clear tables. The main issue I have is the concierge/ front desk. They were shockingly rude and unhelpful. My mother asked if they would call us a taxi. A simple enough request. We asked two different people, one said no and pointed us to the security guard outside, as if it should be their job. I went up to the second person there, a woman, and she gave me a rude look and told me to call an Uber. Fair enough, but we wanted to pay cash. It’s not hard for them to call a taxi, this was the norm in hotels just a couple years ago. Neither were busy with other guests, they were just being lazy and unprofessional. This is unacceptable service for a 5 star hotel where rooms are ~$800USD/night.

Great property! Gorgeous views of Tel-Aviv and the Mediterranean sea. If you're a diamond member they have a top notch executive lounge with some level of food/drinks the entire day.

This time around we had a really great time. While the rooms could use an upgrade, room service was outstanding. They clean and tidy up a few times a day and are very quick to respond to anything. Another gold star is for the Gym outside of not being open 24/7 it has everything I needed including both cardio and strength. Breakfast continues to be great but the guy that does the eggs could be a little rude sometimes.

As I continued my 30 day journey around the world with stops in many countries and different Hiltons, one thing for sure is the high level of service, amenities, cleanliness that never disappoints. As a Diamond member when traveling internationally you are always afforded full access to executive lounge day and night with full breakfasts and evening cocktails and food with each location adding specific culinary favorites of the country. If you have the chance always reach out to the property concierge as most if not all offer expedited arrival assistance with immigration and passport control with private transfer to the property saves stress and time when arriving in different countries and Hilton Tel Avis pre arranged for my pick up. When I arrived at the Hilton Tel Aviv, a beautiful property on the Mediterranean Sea I was greeted immediately and without asking upgraded to a stunning high floor 2 room suite with amazing views of the water even from the huge bathroom, see pictures!! Karni and Maya at the hotel were instrumental in my amazing stays throughout the entire journey. I spent two full days on amazing tours of Nazareth Bethlehem Jerusalem all arranged by the concierge team with their trusted in-house tour company and it didn't disappoint fantastic historical and spiritual locations with easy pickup and return to the hotel. The executive lounge also had a beautiful rooftop view and served an entire dinner meal with drinks and cocktails all included as a diamond member I highly recommend this property and we'll definitely return on another journey.

I’m coming to Israel Hilton at Tel Aviv soon as possible everything looks beautiful there a beautiful beach, and nice places to eat. For the summer wow I love it.

After almost 2 weeks of inferior stays at other properties throughout Israel, this Hilton really stood out with exceptional service, great location, wonderful food, and all the amenities. The property itself is right on the beach and is situated so that all of the rooms have views of the mediterranean. Room was spacious with comfortable seating area, large bathroom and even a complimentary assortment of Dead Sea products as a gift. The fresh fruit plate upon arrival was also appreciated. Staff was very attentive and accomodating. I typically receive a late check out, but they went above and beyond here and as I had a late night flight they gave me acces to the room until 6pm! The property is also very secure and located within a park. The service and property stand out from most other Hilton hotels.

Great hotel! Very friendly staff! They make sure all your needs are taken care of! Great views from the lounge, hotel is located in a very convent area as well. Only cons are while i was staying there everyday at 11am they started construction or some sort of work and it was very noisy. Also the front door isn’t the best, i wish they would allow the option of letting you use the side doors. Either way great hotel

Very disappointing and far from a 5 stars hotel. They have a busy and a non-friendly staff, old furniture, but the worst part was the cleanliness level. The housekeeping ignored the dirty glasses and dishes for days in the room and often forgot to add water, bath robes etc.. The shocking part was to find out that they arrange the bed ignoring the visible dirt on the sheets. Not only we didn’t get an apology when we complained, but we had an arrogant answer (By One frisky Shalev) that claimed that they can change the sheets after every 5 days, and that its our responsibility to ask for the sheet change in case they get dirty. This was the hotel attitude, and I cant believe the Hilton looks like this.

  • 2/5 Brian G. 1 year ago on Google
This may well be as good as it gets in Israel, but nowhere else in the world would it be considered a 5* hotel. Staff make little attempt to make guests feel valued and wanted. From the surly reception staff who barely look up from their computers, to the waiters and beyond, all you feel is that you there to make money out of. For us, a reasonably pleasant stay was sullied at checkout by a blatant attempt to overcharge us by $200, which when challenged was passed off as a "technical error". Yeah, right! That after they claimed the $3,000 they had charged to the credit card on arrival was merely an authorisation request, and the whole bill was still owing! Luckily, we could prove them wrong by showing our bank's app on screen. It all leaves a sour taste in the mouth and with better training of front-line staff in how to respect guests could be avoided.

beautiful hotel right on the beach. i came here on a one week family trip as a hilton diamond member on arguably the busiest week of the year. we booked one of the medium sized rooms and got upgraded to one of the 40 square meter rooms. the standard rooms are extremely small so if you have kids, definitely go for at least the 40 square meter room. check in was fine i just wish the priority line was active. the breakfast here is also great and very extensive. executive lounge is also a nice place to have a quiet meal. i can tell that this hotel was understaffed for a few of the days but every business is understaffed these days i cant really hold it against them. our room wasnt cleaned one of the days but the manager daria made it right she was very helpful. the pool area is also really nice here i just wish the pool was a bit warmer. the wifi was also great, fast speeds with never any issues.

Warning: They will ruin your laundry. They will not follow care instructions. They will not follow any laundry notes, or requests to laundry. They shrank multiple items by putting them in a high heat dryer. They have a weird obsession with bright blue lights everywhere, including a glowing bathroom ceiling which had to be unplugged. The thermostat even glows bright blue all night long, which is terrible for sleep. On the other hand, the lounge is great and the service is friendly, and the place was clean.

I had a great experience at the Hilton Tel Aviv and as a Hilton DIAMOND member i even got upgraded to a better room, till the last day when THE CLEANING CREW STOLE $500 CASH FROM MY BAG AND THE HOTEL DID NOTHING TO RESOLVE THIS. I'M VERY DISAPPOINTED THAT THEY TAKE SECURITY NOT AS A PRIORITY.... THAT'S THE FIRST THING I WANT... TO FEEL SAFE IN MY ROOM AND WITH MY BELONGINGS. I HOPE THIS REVIEW WILL MAKE YOU THINK TWICE BEFORE BOOKING.

Fantastic property, great Ahava amenities for Diamond members worth almost $100, fantastic location and great breakfast. One of the best Hilton’s I ever stayed at.

The heating wasn’t working on my first night and I was told three times that it was fixed but spent the night shivering and didn’t sleep at all. It worked the next morning. Other people in my group said that they had the same issue. At the Hilton you don’t expect to need to wear socks and thermals to bed because the AC is blowing cold air. The morning of my checkout which was early. I tried to go to order coffee but they said the machine was off. It was 15 minutes before breakfast started. I’d have thought a 5 star hotel would be able to serve coffee 24/7. The service from Nikita in the bar and Jonathan who was in reception/security was excellent and what you’d expect from a Hilton. The housekeeping was the best ever as well. I’m not a complainer usually but the service from front of house and people in the bar was slow and reluctant.

I have never had a bad stay here in numerous visits. The breakfast is excellent (the chocolate krantz is one of the greatest things I have ever eaten!) with a beautiful sea view. The rooms are very nice and the service is always top-notch. Great location for exploring the city, right on the beachfront promenade and an easy walk to Dizengoff St. Love the executive lounge, too. Already looking forward to my next visit to the Hilton Tel Aviv

We were here on the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia Israel 75 Mission, so we can't comment on price as our hotel stays and meals were included in the total Mission price. I'm sure that we paid less than the rates you see on the website. Nice rooms, dining rooms, and pool. Very helpful and friendly staff. If you plan to use the pool, bring swim goggles. They fill their pool from the Mediterranean Sea, which is only about 100m away. Clear, clean water but VERY salty. The beach is only a short walk down the hill from the hotel.

A gorgeous building located next to the sea! I spent few days at Hilton Hotel for a dance comp and everything was super delightful. Rated personnel, food quality, cleanliness service. I really recommend the Japanese restaurant in the lobby area.

Very nice hotel with a good location in Tel Aviv. The staff is very professional and kind. My room was perfectly clean and the housekeeping was one of the best services I had in a Hilton and in general. They really paid extra attention to any detail to make you feel well and welcome. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom/shower perfect. I went 2 times at the Japanese restaurant in the lobby and enjoyed the sashimis - really fresh and tasty. The executive lounge is also excellent. The food quality at the buffet was among the best I had in a Hilton. I’ll also remember the friendly staff there. In brief, this hotel deserves its 5 stars!

Beautiful hotel. We were quickly checked in. Room was very comfortable. Love the slippers and robe that are in the room to use. The toiletries are Ahava. Love their products. The location is wonderful. Right on a beautiful beach and so many restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. I look forward to coming back soon.

I've stayed here perhaps a dozen times. It is my favorite hotel on the beach in Tel Aviv. Impeccably maintained, excellent atmosphere to meet guests, amazing breakfast buffet, and lots of view of the beach. If you like sushi, they have perhaps the best sushi restaurant in Tel Aviv.

Problems with room availability at check in and an immensely irritating hour long wait. Also, they really should re-open the exit to the beach and should have food available at the pool. Other than that a wonderful stay at a classy hotel. Rooms were spacious and well maintained and breakfasts were superb. Pastry chef is incredible

STAY AWAY. This Hilton is a complete waste of money. Booked the Deluxe Premium Room, and it was not as expected or presented to me at all, while being still pricy. Firstly, it is only partial view, and you have to really turn your head to view the water. Upon check in, I immediately got 2 mosquito bites. I told the front desk, and they had the audacity to tell me that I had them upon check in. Wow. After getting to the room, I called to have someone come spray the room because there was more mosquitoes in the room. He sprayed while I was in the room, and told me not to worry about any poison. Thereafter, I realized I could not control the air condition. I had to call the front desk, as they are the ones to change the temperature. The front desk people are very rude too, they will talk back to you and be extremely disrespectful. Upon check out, they also tried to overcharge me. When I pointed it out, they said they would have to check with the manager and let me know. They would not confirm the email I received from them, to note the correct price. This was so embarrassing and so unprofessional. For the price, you can certainly stay somewhere better. Stay away.

This review is about the service at their restaurant. It took half an hour for a waiter to be available for us to be able to order our food and then it took more than 50 minutes for each dish to come out. Some of them were not brought to our table after more than an hour so we canceled them and left. Horrible and slowest service. The food wasn't that great either... after waiting so long to get it you would think it is so awesomely delicious but no. It's regular.

Cleaning service was very good. They change the towels in the room twice a day and they are very polite. In Spain, due to the furniture in the room and the carpet floor, it would possibly be a 4 star hotel. The restaurant in the swimming pool closes at 17.00. The staff in Hilton bay restaurant by the beach expects more than 10% tip. The rooms facing the old town in the lower floors have noise from the ventilation, avoid them if you can. Breakfast was very good, but one of the days the orange juice was from concentrate and not natural. Meeting room Jaffa has small capacity (50 people) and has a fantastic terrace and very nice views! Room king Solomon C also has views to the sea.

Great Hotel on the beach in Tel Avi! There is a paved beach path that takes you all the way to Jaffa. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. There were lots of amenities, including complimentary fresh fruit, glass-bottled water, and stuffed dates as welcome gifts in my room.I highly recommend this hotel…

  • 5/5 Connor J. 2 years ago on Google
Awesome hotel! Great use of Hilton points if you’re diamond status. They literally keep you fed all day. Given the price of restaurants in Tel Aviv we actually ate here at the restaurant for breakfast and executive lounge for lunch/ dinner/ dessert. I’ve been to over thirty countries and never been to an executive lounge with SO much food! They have a tea time with sandwiches and such. Then dinner with 5-6 hot dish selections, 8-10 cold dishes and a soup. At dessert time there’s an assortment of mini desserts, all amazing. OH and guess what? They keep the alcohol available at the lounge the entire day, not just two hours. 100% worth purchasing lounge access if you don’t mind eating at the hotel daily. I know there’s a lot of good restaurants in TLV but the food was genuinely amazing at the hotel and the amount of money we saved as a couple was worth it. There’s a lady from the Philippines that worked there in the lounge and she knew our preferences and was so helpful, and so personable. Anyway… enough about food. The room felt new and was well maintained, housekeeping lady was phenomenal and always made sure we had a clean room. The view is SO beautiful! Great having a balcony to hangout on. The location of the hotel is great for a beach vacation, and we chose to walk everywhere as the taxis are so expensive in TLV. Bus service is nearby but we wanted to burn some calories. In the future the light-rail will be just a few blocks away. The only issue we had was with the short haired lady at checkin. She was very rude and unwilling to give the full benefits that diamond status entails. But the manager swiftly resolved the issue for us. All around, I highly recommend this hotel. It truly sets the standard for what a hotel should be and what they should offer. I’ve read complaints here in the reviews and can say without a doubt they’re over exaggerated and full of hyperbole. Just stay here!

I am extremely pleased with my stay at the hotel! The service was at the highest level, we cleaned the room every day, changed the bed and created a special comfort. The pool with sea water is another additional plus, children are delighted, and the sand on the beach is special, very soft and gentle. Breakfast was delicious and the coffee was incredible. This place is exactly as I expected!

Great hotel right on the beach and easy walk to the city. The vista lounge is exceptional and the staff professional and helpful. The rooms are large and the pool and beach are well maintained and easy to access. Only issue is the loud incessant techno music that emanates from the pool area for most of the day and night. It is really loud and obnoxious and I hope management can address this issue which makes sleeping very difficult. But otherwise we love this hotel and will be back a third time for sure!

Nice room. Poor room service. Not even same day service. I'm more than half way through the afternoon on my second day here after multiple requests and still nothing. This experience just prompted me to cancel my recently applied for Hilton Honors Aspire Card.

Terrible room/reception/guest service, we waited an hour for the room service to give us sugar for our coffee that got cold, and when we called for reception to complain we called few times and waited 10min on the phone till someone answered. Nothing worth that disrespectful behaviour, won't come back.

The food is very mediocre... at the breakfast buffet with no flavor... and the pizza is boring.. it's not even real mozzarella cheese , the pizza sauce tastes like Ketchup.. And the service at the outdoor Balcony Bar is EXTREMELY slow. Totally overpriced drinks, food etc.

The setting is beautiful and the pool is great but their Thursday night bar service was just rude. Told us to sit down and they would come to us which they didn't and then we asked again 20 mins later and they said no. Never had that in my life. And on check out they had added two lots of tip that we had not put on - really not impressive for a 5star hotel They did take it off

Rooms are nice, the location too, my low service rating relates to the fact that Hilton is an international hotel chain and I find it an imposition that I can't even take a glass of wine from a lounge because it's not kosher, or so Paid $560 per night for a room with lounge access and only fish is served for 7 days. I would expect an international hotel to allow guests from all over the world to bring a glass of wine to their room or to give them something other than fish to eat instead of having unnecessary discussions with employees who think everything has to be kosher. really a joke
