The good: the location is amazing. the food was good, and check-in for a group of over 40 was easy and painless. A/C worked great! The bad: rooms were not ready. some were not clean, some did not have towels or wash cloths, some had cigarette ashes (large amounts) in the closets (these were suppose to be non-smocking rooms.) beds were not made and when the linens were bought they were left for those staying in the room to make the bed. There was no help with getting luggage from bus to lobby. If you need to have more than 2 in your room, I would look elsewhere. This is probably not the place for group tours. I doubt I will use this place again. Which is a shame because I loved what was good about the place: location, location, LOCATION! I also had 4 other large groups coming next year that wanted me to let them know about this place; such a shame. This place has the potential.

Service at the reception is very unfriendly. The room was not well cleaned and funny as it may sound the entrance is very hard to find (it is underground!). To make matters even worse the hotel billed both me personally and also my company. Even better: My bill was for a higher amount than he previously agreed one. Sure errors happen to the best of us but I could not reach customer service via phone and they needed solid three weeks for an automated "what is the name of the hotel" via eMail. I advise to go to some other place - a pity since the Leonardo Art has a great location and the breakfast is nice enough.

I loved this hotel, and my stay here. The staff were very friendly and helpful (and if not, just ask for the supervisor-I had to do this once, and had no troubles after). The room was average. The traditional Israeli breakfast superb. This is not your run of the mill 5* North American hotel. The lobby and stairwells are decorated in original artworks (well worth a tour of the hotel just to see). The room was comfortable and clean. There are cheaper hotels on the beach, but after visiting them, I chose to stay five days here, for the charm and friendly service. Close to the downtown with it's many shops and restaurants. My one Caveat is trying to find the entrance to this place can be daunting, unless you take a direct taxi or bus. Poorly lit and few signs to guide you.

Overall experience is positive and decent value for money. Location is great of you want to keep it close to the beach. You will also find places to eat and drink minutes walk away. Be it at the beach or around the city. Pool at the roof is awesome and we enjoyed it above all. You can grab a beer and look at beach, sunbath and of course - swim. It isn't big of a pool so maybe soak in and chill if it's crowded. Tip - get a last minute reservation of you can especially off season (but when it is still nice and warm) to get a nice weekend getaway for a relatively low budget.

We stayed for one night with 2 kids. At first ,when we got the keys they didn’t work at all (4/4) so we had to call the security guy to open it. The room was a little bit dirty, 4/4 towels had some hair on it. The food was good. When we ordered the hotel , we saw the pictures and it looked really good but when we got there, we were shocked to see the outside of the hotel. Very Old building. I’m pretty upset because fattal supposed to be big hotel chain.

Absolutely Wonderful staff, in every aspect. Sandra and Victoria are of special note....aware and attentive. The hotel was clean and on the beach. Is now my go to place for Tel Aviv.

The hotel itself is quite nice and rather cheap by Tel Aviv standards. The room was well designed, but there was smoke scent even though smoking is prohibited, and the shower was not insulated well enough so water leaked out the the bathroom. Even though the hotel is located virtually on the beach, there is no beach view from the room, or actually any decent view to speak of (there is some view, but the windows are relatively small). The reason for that is that the hotel is part of the bizarre Atarim Square complex, a weird outdated elevated plaza between the city and the beach with some buildings attached. That also reflects on the entrance to the hotel, which is kind of gloomy. Apart from that, the location is perfect - the beach is less than a minute walk from the lobby and there are many excellent restaurants within walking distance, as well as many local attractions such as the famous Dizengoff street. luckily, service was very good. Swift and attentive.

The Internet photos are not accurate at all. Simple old hotel. Rooms are not well maintained. Breakfast OK. Too expensive. But Tel Aviv is all too expensive. The only advantage is it location. The parking is crazy expensive, dirty and the odor...... As a conclusion not a good experience. I will not return

Although the staff tries very hard to make the stay in this hotel pleasant - it is a mission impossible as the building is old and run down and not nearly as good value for money as the surrounding possibilities.

Reasonably priced hotel with outstanding location directly near the TLV Beach. Friendly staff and outstanding meals. Like with most TLV hotels parking space is limited so try the ' Sheraton1 near Metzizim Beach parking lot . It's one bus stop away and will save you plenty of parking cash.

First off, this is now the Leonardo Gordon Beach Hotel, no longer the Leonardo Art hotel. It was completely remodeled and reopened August 1, 2022. The location and the pool are fantastic! The service was great. The lobby is beautiful but I didn't really like the dark decor of the room. There wasn't enough natural light and the view wasn't nice. I think that is a problem with the exterior design of the hotel. The room was comfortable and very quiet and we didn't really spend much time in our room during the day so it wasn't a big issue. (I added photos of the view from our room and of the pool but they don't appear with my review for some reason. Just be sure to ask for a room where the view isn't blocked by the roof and you don't have rooms from the Carlton Hotel looking in to yours. We were in room 406 on the north side of the hotel.)

The facility is very old and poorly maintained: humidity spots in the room, damaged facades The majority of the staff at the front desk is youg people, mostly playing with their phone instead of helping customers The laundry service is poor / not existent: my clothes were not washed even after 24 hours Not suited for business trips
