Wonderful quiet place with amazing vibe. Easily accessible by local transport. Dosas and uttappa are really good. Three type of Chutneys served..which taste authentic and good. Sambhar was okish. Banofee was amazing too. Overall good food, excellent, generous and happy staff and a nice place to go to. Will be my regular now on. Highly recommended.

Vegan and GF. Conveniently located near the beach hotels. Super fast and friendly service. This place makes good dosas considering they are vegan! So for those who are used to ghee butter dosas go with the right expectation as they are vegan. The orange chutney is new and yet to try other options. I liked the Masala dosa(spicy), onion uttappa which seems like it had scallions and hence so green. Sambar tastes a little different than normal. I would not recommend idli if you are getting it to go as it was not soft enough. They said they do not do to go lassi but wish they had that option. Mango lassi is also vegan so it will not taste like the normal mango lassi. Dine in was pretty busy on Valentine’s Day. The quinoa salad is very tasty! But the service was quite fast.

A vegan Indian food restaurant at the upper north part of the city center of Tel Aviv. The place is super friendly, welcoming and offers a limited variety of Indian food which is mainly based on Dosa or Tahlli. The food is super nice, great tastes and tuned in it's spicness to the Israeli pallet. The dishes are in good portion, besides the Malai Kofta and Palak Paneer which are super small, which was a real surprise, it would have been great if they offered a reasonable size one, as it was quite tasty. All in all it was super nice and refreshing experience and a nice place to visit!

The food was good but the service was bad and I believe possibly discriminatory. The waitress pressured us for a tip at the end (unusually so) and then when we said we wanted to round it up (in hindsight, this was too generous) she made a face of disapproval (although this is common practice anywhere else in this country). I am Asian American, non-Israeli and my partner who was with me is Israeli. We have never had this experience at any other restaurant in the country over the past 2 years. We got the distinct impression that she expected us to tip like foreigners and practically demanded a tip because I am not a local. I won't come back here due to service—Ma Pau is better Indian food with much better service. If you want to get food here as a non-local, maybe it's best to just order pickup or delivery.

Amazing service and "wow" kind of dishes. This is the place you want to go if you love Indian food that isn't your regular rice stuff. The menu is pretty big and you would definitely find something to your taste. The staff is very friendly and can adjust the spiciness level. You'd think that one dish is not enough but it totally is. Also, good to know that this place is fully vegan and sugar free.

I suspect they have an English menu, but I got the Hebrew one. No problem with Google translate. Plus, the server was able to answer all my questions. Anyway, more importantly, the food was amazing! I only had room in my tummy for one traditional dosa. So good! Oh, and thier bathroom upstairs smelled like curry deliciousness!

Unfortunately, it is important to write this negative review after a recent, negative experience. I ordered a large table for some friends to throw a surprise party and they seated us on the high(ly) uncomfortable bar stools, while most of the seated tables were empty. The waitress who I believe was the manager, was unwarm and unwelcoming to the table of 12 and needed to be called on many times as she did not appear once unsolicited. I went inside and asked for a range of several dishes for the table which she ignored. After calling on her, she came out to the table and asking what we wanted, understood that I still wanted the same thing I had asked several seconds earlier. We received far too many bowls (not only of different kind but simply 3 of each) which could have served 30 people. Needless to say the bill was exorbitant but being that it was a birthday party I chose not to make a scene (a certainty for being screwed the wrong way in Israel). Unfortunately, the food was mediocre at best and basic offerings were missing such as due to the empty/broken keg. The place was clean however, and the vibe in general was pretty good.

The food was tasty, but the portions were small. We ordered the uttapam (large) which comes with green lentil dahl and three coconut dips, and a palak paneer, everything to share (2 persons). I liked the uttapam, because it was a bit fluffy but heavy at the same time and doughy. The coconut dips were mediocre. I missed variation in taste. The green one stood out the most, because it was more flavourful than the other two (green herbs like coriander). The lentil dahl was nice, but as I said: a very small portion (the bowl is smaller than my palm). The palak paneer was alright in flavour, but I cannot call it a palak paneer; it tasted more like a coconut milk based curry with a tiny bit spinach in it. I think this dish was a bit disappointing. The staff was very friendly though, and the service was fast. The restaurant was also clean. I would have loved to give 4 or 5 stars, but this Indian food was not what I expected (and I’ve tried a lot of Indian restaurants around the world).
