One of the best places to visit in Tel Aviv, many small shops, bakeries, coffee, food, a unique vibrant market that spread on a few streets, very popular with the locals. One smaller street with shops that predominantly sells nuts and dry fruits, spices and olives. In the side streets there are shops with canned and packed goods. I’ve been shopping here for years. There’s lots of cool spice shops. Most of them have similar selection, but it’s just nice to walk around the neighborhood. The "shuk" is a collection of streets with open fronts stores mostly offering spices, nuts, restaurants, sweets etc. There are too many to list in a single review and I hope that the photos will provide a flavourful of the place. It’s a chef and foodie’s paradise and one of the reasons we wanted to spend time in Tel Aviv. Stroll down the street and check it all out - outstanding area for food🤗🤗

Enjoyed our walk thru Levinsky Market past so many delicious and intriguing foods. From dried fruits and fresh nuts, to spices, to Persian food and great sandwiches from Yom Tov, we were intrigued at every turn. We saw some things that were new to us, like dried cherry tomatoes and dried black lemons (Persian dried limes also called Loomi). It’s a chef and foodie’s paradise and one of the reasons we wanted to spend time in Tel Aviv. Stroll down the street and check it all out - outstanding area for food!

One smaller street with shops that predominantly sells nuts and dry fruits, spices and olives. In the side streets there are shops with canned and packed goods. Several nice restaurants in the street to enjoy too. If you are looking for a less stressed shopping in comparison to the bigger markets this is great place. The atmosphere is relaxed and very local.

You could walk by Levinsky Market and not realize it. But you would miss something magical. These two blocks are so full of Israeli, Tel Aviv, and family history. From spice shops to a juice stand to a halavah store, each and every hole in the wall is a universe to itself. Stop in. Inquire from the shopkeeper his or her story. Pull up a chair and listen. Shop well.

City’s best markets are located here. It’s cheaper as well as quality products at the same time we can bargain in some shops. It’s located at the heart of the city. It has specimen of Tel Aviv

Small market, 3 blocks along Levinski Street. Not that clean, pretty crowded. Some seating on the street.

I came there at Shabbat Time , so all the shops close. But some small bars and restaurants open, it seems very interesting to find places for beer and fun.

Fantastic place to shop, eat and people-watch. I’ve been shopping here for years. There’s lots of cool spice shops. Most of them have similar selection, but it’s just nice to walk around the neighborhood. Recently the city turned some of the streets into open sidewalks. And a lot of new restaurants and coffee shops have sprouted and put tables right on the street. There is also lots of specialty shops, ethnic restaurants and party decoration stores. The only drawbacks I have experienced is that aren’t enough places to chain your bicycle to and also the streets can get pretty grimy and dirty. Fridays the neighborhood is packed, so I recommend parking outside the “shook” area and then walk or cycle to it. All in all - a very pleasant experience.

Not very big but full of character. Cafés and dried nuts and spices stores everywhere. If you walk outside the main levinski road you can find dozens of small fashion stores, mainly for women. We liken it to what the East End of London used to look like. Overpowering for my wife Not to buy.

A taste of old Tel Aviv the way things used to be 50 years ago. Enjoy it while you can, things change very fast in this city. Culturally significant history of an almost by-gone era.

Amazing atmosphere here on a Friday afternoon. Burekas, Italian, fish, vegan restaurants will cater for any taste! Best place to buy your spices and dried fruits/nuts in Tel Aviv, though not the cheapest

Really appreciate this market place. It's lively and charismatic. All of the different and specialty items are interesting to learn about. Not to mention the history of this place. My first impression was amazing and every time I return, is another eye opening experience. I really recommend going as a tourist AND as a local. The smells will draw you in and the company around will do the rest. As you can see, this market has left so many others with good feelings, as well.

Great market with awesome environment, you can really feel the real “Tel Aviv” vibes in this market with a lot of shops, from good restaurants to interesting spices shops or just eating an ice cream. There are also awesome tour to the market that really enhances the experience. Highly recommended!

Enjoyed waking around. Many stalls with olives, grains, nuts, cafes. Very vegan area so not much in the way of meat. On many bus routes.

It's pretty big for the area, everything you need or don't need is there. There's even a machine to cut your bread! 🍞 The workers are helpful and there are multiple options of each product from different company's. It is hard to find stuff sometimes but after a few times you know everything and its location 📍. I do have to mention how somehow even if you go just trying to get some milk🥛 you will somehow go out spending all💰 100₪. But I suppose that's nothing special and almost every place has some sort of way to get you to pay more..... ------------------------------------- In my opinion it's alright but you need to be careful because some pricing is very sneaky trying to get you to pay more💵......................

Cool market, you have it all there, restaurants, bars, spices, and a bit clothing stores. Recommended to go there during the week or Friday morning. On Saturday almost everything is closed.

A super-fun area with specialty food shops ranging from spices to fruits and vegetables. There are restaurants, cafés, and small boutiques lining the area and surroundingside streets. This is an authentic area with lots of energy and just a short walk to Herzl or Rothschild Blvd.

Interesting place with some amazing history, but you need to know where to look for the good stuff here. This place might look like a boring and dirty city market if you don't get the chance to look closer. I would recommend joining a guided tour here, at least for the first visit.

Well, it is an agreable stroll with all these nice shops about and this sort of "European" atmosphere, but unfortunately one sees more and more bikes and motor wheels driving through and it spoils the experience and the walk!

It's always lots of fun (and very tasty) to visit this market. Whether you are looking for fresh spices, a piece of artisan cheese, a cooked meal or just a drink, you are sure to find it.

Visited with my wife and some friends. Great area of Tel-Aviv, reminds me of the village in NY city. Love the old mixed with the new, as well as all the shops and restaurants.

I was expecting a bigger market, not as big as Carmel, but half the size at least. Nevertheless, I did find my favourite spice store there and a street food style restaurant with some lovely dishes. The side walk is really narrow, it could get complicated with a wheelchair or a pram or stroller. It seems that the local costumers are not too happy with the tourists' presence. They are rude, unfriendly and impolite - which is the kind of attitude you will get from most locals in Tel Aviv. However, I wasn't there for the locals, I enjoyed shopping for exotic spices. The nuts are quite expensive though.

Very nice market, though not a real market, rather a tourist attraction but still cool place to visit and find some tasty food (even interesting at times). Don't even consider coming anywhere near with a vehicle. Bus will be your best transportation option.
