Great place to stroll through, to visit any of many café or restaurants or bars or ... The area has a great vibe, plenty of things to see on Friday morning-midday. Markets, shops, musicians, peddlers offering various things for each taste and choice. Or just browse. Many more locals than tourists - another good indication. Highly recommend!

A nice market with lots of arty shops and antique/junk stores. There are some indoor covered areas selling all sorts of clothing and souvenirs and boutique shops setting random things. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area. Some coffee places and restaurants here too.

It's a lot of fun. Colorful allies crowded with shops selling every curiosity you might think about at reasonable prices. Shop owners are very inviting. There are numerous restaurants, bars and pubs around. Easily accessible by the metro Red line.

The Jaffa flea market is a treasure trove of nostalgia and culinary delights. The friendly merchants add to the vibrant atmosphere, making the experience even more enjoyable. Exploring the market feels like stepping back in time, with its unique vintage items and charming shops. And let's not forget the mouthwatering Israeli culinary treats that can be found there. A visit to the Jaffa flea market is an absolute must!

My wife and I for a long time wanted to visit this place. And in order to just look at interesting unusual things that are sold nowhere except at the flea markets, and in order to buy a couple of things home. There are a lot of different souvenir shops here. There are many different restaurants and cafes to relax while your visit. And there are many different shops with antiques(both simple things and furniture) here too. A couple of times we saw outright garbage on sale, but it's a few places like that. Most of what you come across here is either just interesting to see, or you can even buy it home. Most importantly, don't forget to bargain. In this country, and in such a flea market, it is quite appropriate and sometimes saves some money. The main thing is not to go too far, you should always respect each other in trade. One last thing: before you go here, check it's working time in web. On some days you can see more here than on others. Or stay longer, as the shops are open much longer.

There's a wide variety of eclectic, dusty items on display. From hookahs to sunglasses clearly stolen from handbags, there's something for everyone. I also had incredible shwarma from a vender here. I mean, wow! Mindblowing. I didn't personally buy anything, but I saw plenty of reasonably priced jewelry. Of course, you can also haggle a good amount! A friend of mine bargained for a discount of over 100 shekels! Good deals can, and have, been found by American tourists.

Cute market! Lots of antiques and quirky products. Some upscale shops too. You can also find some cheap Israeli street food there!

Jaffa is famous for its ancient alley ways, one of the oldest ports in history, and it's cultural history. In this city you will hear Arabic and Hebrew interchangeably, along with all of the languages of the world. The flea market is huge, and encompasses four main parts. First, you have what looks like a jumble of people's highly ecclectlic leftover clothes, jewelry, shoes, electronics, accessories, homegoods, and other stuff. This is spread out on the ground, on blankets, on tables and on strings hung up, all under large metal awnings, and not at all organized. You call literally find everything here. Here, you can bargain. Second, you have the more organized narrow streets, two of which are covered, shuk style, where you can find slightly less worn and new clothing, silver jewelry, beaded jewelry, leather goods and all kinds of pottery, wall hangings, magnets, key chains, judaica, trinkets, wind chimes decorative items and general tchotchkees. Less bargaining here. Also, the shopkeepers have pretty much fixed the prices. Next, you have the used furniture area. Here you can find anything from actual Chippendale chairs to cheesy 1980's Formica tables and barstools, along with second hand restaurant equipment. Bedroom sets, dining room tables, wardrobes and chests of drawers., it's all here Finally, you have the restaurants, bars, shake stops, breweries, dozen yogurt places, I've cream parlors, and local bakeries. Do not go to Israel without visiting Jaffa.

Nice place to stroll around. You will find vintage and unique items. If you are fond of collecting unique local souvenirs, this is a must visit place. I bought a large hanukkiah one of my best souvenirs. There are also cafes and restaurants around. The best shawarma I tried. Huge one 😀😀

Lots of fun. Not as cheap though but you can negotiate. Some stores sell flea market items and some stores have designer jewelry. Nice place to visit.

Definitely go! And talk to everyone. I sat at a stall on a plastic stool and talked to the owner and learned so much. First thing in the morning I love the sounds of the stalls opening, everyone chatting with each other, browsing all the long forgotten treasures...it really was a pleasure!

Had a great experience here shopping around for souvenirs. Bargain, bargain and bargain. The sellers are absolutely tourist-friendly but they can take you for a ride if you aren't careful. Got some fridge magnet, locally crafted jewellery etc. The street food is good too so do try that out instead of eating at a restaurant.

Some nice stores. Other stories feel more like garage sales. Definitely possible to find some interesting things and a nice place to walk around.

Nice place with original culture to that place. Don’t forget to negotiate about the price, otherwise might get the highest price straight away. Definitely worth visiting when in Tel-Aviv.

Love this flea market. A cool flea market with lots of variety. Tons of little knick knacks, magnets etc. Though not a fan of second hand items, there are tons of unique antique used home decor items if that’s what you’re looking for. Those are at the outer vicinity of the flea market. Deep inside in the roofed area are more of jewelry and clothing. Their beaded necklaces and bracelets are unique and personally handmade by each store owner which makes them more interesting. Pieces are unique to each stall. Some are able to custom-make them for you. The store owners are very pleasant. They sell beaded stretchy bracelets for ₪20 but they’ll give them for ₪15 if you’re sweet to them. 😊 Bought several bracelets with the Hamsa and evil eye that are said to ward off bad juju. Lol. Magnets go for ₪15. Definitely more options and better deals for small souvenirs here than other places. Cash only place, though there was a stall that offered to take my Visa for a larger purchase. No Amex.

Definitely visit the area both in the afternoon and at night. I didn't need anything for antiquing, but it's always nice to see the trinkets and Misc things in a thriving area.

Great place for locals and tourists for a nice walk. A lot of great places to have coffee or breakfast, but the best time is the evening, when all the bars are crowded and it suddenly becomes one of the happiest places in town.

Place for hipsters, tourists and collectors of junk. If this should be the reason why you want to visit Tel Aviv, feel free to skip it.

  • 5/5 Life In q. 2 years ago on Google
I love the market and full of restaurants and bars in the evening.

  • 5/5 Bill H. 1 year ago on Google
The flea market feels like miles of junk shops, but also some pretty cool things. Good food. Eager shop owners draw you in and hardly will take no for an answer. Make sure your wife bargains.

Anything and everything under the sun. Junk, hidden treasures, surprise random finds. You’d have to scour every inch to find that elusive gem of a find. Worth going to and just checking it out. I was told that some have bought a brand new Kindle for only NIS 20. I was also told that they’ve found luxury brands for cheap too. Unfortunately, I did not. But, I still enjoyed walking through the market under the tents and the streets selling antiques and second hand clothes and home ware.

I visited Jaffa Flea Market on a Sunday afternoon in May. There were not so many people. The vibe is great, i loved all the coffeeshops and restaurants there. I hope i explored it all, it’s a nice way to spend some time in Jaffa once in Tel Aviv.

  • 5/5 Moshe C. 1 year ago on Google
Loved the immersion into this ethnic, bazaar-type flea market. You will find so many different things here, from antique Judaica, to modern-day jewelry. A Jaffa is such a gorgeous little city-village, at the doorstep of Tel-Aviv.

  • 5/5 Aleksandra N. 11 months ago on Google
Loads of cool shops from really old and dusty secondhand to artizanal beauties. Plenty of cheap China-produced knockoffs, too, though, so be on the lookout. There’s a lot of places to eat, too. You can easily spend 3+ hours there casually browsing and stopping for bite.

  • 5/5 Reut L. 2 years ago on Google
Nice to visit, beautiful market, lovely restaurants around the area with all the traditional food: falafel, humus, and warm People. Few minutes from the center of Tel Aviv by taxi, bus, bicycle.

The Jaffa Flea Market is the very heart of Jaffa where you can feel its inimitable, vibrant and vivid atmosphere, enjoy local food, drinks, craft beer, beautiful views with your friends sitting in indoor or outdoor bars and restaurants.

A bunch of cool stuff to see, but everything in Tel Aviv is super expensive. For those who hate cockroaches, like me, Jaffa flea market is hell, mainly in the summer and at night. Cockroaches everywhere, big ones. 🪳

I didn't take the tour so my opinion is weak but I was a little bit disappointed, the old streets and feel of the place is amazing you get a real sense of the old community start from clock tower. Be prepared to barter as I failed and actually heard passers by getting cheaper prices then what I paid or my delicious pomegranate juice. Also be brave hire a scooter from The Lime app via your phone its a great way to sea the coast.

It's a wishing bridge - it makes your dreams come true! Kidding, but you can take a picture there. And actually think of what it is that you'd wish for if you had a chance to realize it...

A treasure of Jaffa port area.. Especially for tourists! From amazing landmark restaurants, to groceries.. to handicrafts & souvenirs.. One can find it all here, and probably at the best possible prices in Israel! The souvenir and jewellery shop owners are especially warm to customers. Will definitely go back here, many times!

This place is the main market in jaffa. Has excellent restaurants and caffès. Also has a part selling art clothes and vintage decorative artifacts. The nightlife is mostly bars and restaurants in a very cinematic atmosphere.

Beautiful place in Jaffa full with old shops, coffee shops and restourants...Shuk Ha'Pishpishim!

  • 5/5 Arik 1 year ago on Google
The best flea market in the world. Especially if you are Jewish and like antiques. Just go there and have fun browsing through all the treasures and enjoy the haggling.

  • 3/5 Itai Jamshy (. 2 years ago on Google
For a flea market, all the furniture is very pricey. I would come just to look and then go sit at a cafe nearby. There are some merchant shops that could be well used for art dressing in film and video.

  • 5/5 diniska d. 2 years ago on Google
Worth to visit. And good idea to eat there somewhere around.

  • 4/5 Yigal Z. 2 years ago on Google
Big variety of options to eat - snacks, bars, fastfood, restaurants... Pleasant experience to visit art galleries and combine it with some shipping on the local 'busta's. Be aware parking is real issue there and if you park in parking garage there - you will be very surprised by how expensive it is...

A great way to spend an afternoon or morning browsing interesting antique, furniture salvage and art shops. I've found some real gems at good deals. Great bars and restaurants also

  • 4/5 Mariah S. 1 year ago on Google
This place can get crazy but is a must in tel viv. There is legit go stuff and also a lot of junk lol. I compare it to an out door thrift store back home in the United States but definitely with Israeli energy!!! Happy hunting.

  • 4/5 Ezra G. 2 years ago on Google
Nice place with tons of shops. Just remember everything for the most part is super overpriced and but high quality. So try to get the price way lower then it started.

  • 4/5 Uri A. 1 year ago on Google
It’s nice, some of it even authentic. Great place to go during the week, but unbelievably crowded on Fridays and holidays. A lot of the shops are selling the fake semi ethnic stuff you find in similar markets all over the world. There are some good antique and carpet shops, however the sellers know the worth of the items and the places are expensive. There are plenty of good restaurants in the area and also a lot of places that serve decent street food. Unlike many public Israeli places, there are decent public restrooms in more than one location in the market.
