😠 FRAUD! STAY AWAY AT ALL COST! We made a reservation last month for House of Palms for 28 days in July-August under my wife's name through website VRBO. We made it far in advance to ensure a good price and availability. Two weeks later with no explanation or apology owner Samuel Obadia cancels. VRBO... People often mention apartment,

FRAUD! STAY AWAY AT ALL COST! We made a reservation last month for House of Palms for 28 days in July-August under my wife's name through website VRBO. We made it far in advance to ensure a good price and availability. Two weeks later with no explanation or apology owner Samuel Obadia cancels. VRBO told us this was because they accidently double booked. In reality they still have the dates available but at more than twice the price. I asked the representative below for help and no reply. And NO this is not a mistake. Proof below! Stay away or they will do same to you. Before you arrive they will cancel and give it to someone else at a higher price if demand goes up. Don't risk it!

WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT STAY HERE. I stayed here for a few months and it was a terrible experience. As soon as I got there there was a foul smell from my bathroom. I asked multiple times throughout the course of 4 months that I was staying there for it to be fixed and it never was properly fixed. Also, every time I turned the sink on, there was water coming out of the floorboards… The landlord, Sam, gets grey hairs at the thought of spending a penny on maintenance. My WiFi went out pretty much every week, so I would have to contact the “technician” who is just Sam’s cousin. My doorknob fell off every week, this was really dangerous especially because a few times I locked myself in.sam never properly fixed it, he would just instruct me on how to temporarily screw it back in. Every time it rained in the apartment, all of the power went out. The hosts were never attentive to fix it, just making me turn the switches on the electricity box until something worked. The apartment itself had really thin windows. If you stay in the winter you will be very cold. Anyways, it is very noisy outside, even though I was told I was getting a quiet room.the curtains are terrible and every morning I was woken up from the light. There is a cleaner included in the service, but you need to call sam a few days ahead for it, and somehow she never actually comes the day you’re told that she’s going to come. I never knew what time she was coming and whenever i asked, i simply received an answer of “I don’t know. Sometime”. One time she barged into my room while i was sleeping without knocking because no one told me when she would come and she doesn’t have the curtesy to knock (it’s one cleaner for the whole building also…. Poor lady). They failed to mention that the cleaner RECORDS A VIDEO of your apartment every time she goes in to “make sure she does a thorough job”. I don’t know about in other countries, but in America this is a violation of privacy. She shared videos that showed all of my personal belongings and living habits with Sam and I thought that was beyond weird. Sam took every opportunity he could to try to shift the blame onto me for any and every maintence issue. I had so many issues with him and with the apartment. Shame thag such a beautiful building has gone to waste from poor management. *p.s to respond to their response below, I had no where else to stay and the location was convenient. The second I found an apt I was out of there*

While the apartment itself is beautiful, the “staff” is nonexistent. The website lists a concierge desk as one of its amenities. This is not true. There is no concierge. Only a building manager named Sam. He is fast to reply, but slow to take action. He was informed that I would be staying here for a two week quarantine as I arrived from abroad to do work for a local company. When I arrived, there were many basic amenities missing: there was no hand soap (absolutely unacceptable during a global pandemic where washing hands is essential), dish soap, dish towels. There is a sink to do dishes, but nowhere to dry them. When informed of this, he simply pointed me to a website so that I may purchase those items. That in itself was ridiculous and the website does not work unless you are an Israeli resident If you are simply looking for an extended stay apartment and are from Israel, this may be a place for you. If you are traveling from abroad and need any sort of amenities taken care of for you, stay away.

Superp location. Value for money, nope. Cleanliness, nope. Tiny and awkward. Didn't even leave an espresso capsule. Cannot recommend. No luxury around here.

Absolutely enjoyed staying here, great modern apartments in a traditional building which adds charm to the pace. The apartment was very comfortable and very clean. facilities included washing machine; 2 hob cooker; oven; microwave; kettle and coffee machine. Great location in centre of Tel Aviv, craft fair market out on street every Tuesday and Friday. Highly recommened!!!

Mixed experience that felt like a "Beautiful fraternity". Luxurious building, centrally located, nice owners, but hosts young and well established crowds that love to host friends and play music late at night. Still a good choice for heavy sleepers. Be ready to share your bedroom's wall with the neighboor's living room and their tv.

BEWARE -- I rented a beautiful VRBO listing and upon arrival, the apartment was nothing like the listing I rented. It was literally a different apartment altogether. Host has not been responsive and is now attempting to claim he wasn't at fault. Literally, laughable. *WATCH OUT* I would be very careful with this place. Also, there was black mold on the ceiling of the apartment he tried to give us.

Such a beautiful apartment and located right in the center of Tel Aviv. It is close to the market, bars, and shops - everything was near. The stuff was friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and very well decorated. Enjoyed it a lot!
