Almost missed this place but so glad we didn't. Really great kebab. Loved that it wasn't cooked to well done and the seasoning and fixings were great.

Everything we tried was delicious; the kebab (of course), grilled veggies and eggplant with tahini.

Real street food in the bustling Carmel market, cost effective menu with limited yet satisfying options.

Best meatballs, and because I heard Shmuel's zehug (spicy sauce) is the best, even I who can't eat spicy had to try it and OMG so tasty and honestly not too spicy, if I can eat it. Highly recommend Shmuel by the Carmel market.

Nice location (hidden in an alley behind the busy Carmel Market), with some shade and great food.

I recently had the pleasure of trying the Jerusalem mix at this restaurant and I must say, it was a truly delicious and satisfying meal. I opted for the plate version which came with a generous serving of tender, juicy chicken. The plate was beautifully presented and came with a side of fresh salad and fluffy rice, making for a perfectly balanced and filling meal. But what really made this dish stand out was the addition of the amba sauce (ask separately), which provided a contrast to the chicken meat and vegetables

A good pita with a good Kebab. The counter feels personal and welcomes you to take a seat. I believe this place is absolutely worth a visit, even though the kebab doesn’t stand up to the standards set by Jasmino, Zalmanico, or the sadly closed Tomer Thomas. If only there was a 4.5/5 option!

Everything is grilled on the same plates , i‘ve ordered grilled vegetables , before there were a grilled jerusalem mix ( liver, heart) , guess what , my vegetables tasted like liver. I‘m not a vegetarian, but his is a nogo. I just ate the rice and left the rest as it was. In the end we were charged additional 10shekel for the service. We se sat at the bar . I really don‘t understand all the 5stars.

They wanted to charge us for stuff they didnt even deliver to the table as they forgot. They served knife and fork in a dirty and used by someone else cup. In general terrible experience. Not recommended at all.

My absolute favorite kebab in TLV. It's always delicious, with the perfect balance of ingredients and a fantastic tehina, great sides, fresh salad... Service is friendly and inviting - a real gem! I always take the kebab on a plate, with pita on the side, to keep the full taste of the meat.
