Me and a friend were planning to have lunch today at Keton. We approached one of the waiters and asked if there was a spot available outside. He responded very abruptly saying :''you can see for yourselves that there are no spots...' ' then he pushed us away as we were standing, still trying to come to terms with his rudenes... Needless to say we left the place and went somewhere else.

We had a great dinner. The service was friendly and the food was delicious. We wanted to have Ashkenazi Jewish food. The soups were great, light and tasty as were the chicken and veal schnitzels. The portions were sufficient. For two of us the bill came to about 300 NIS.

Homemade style Jewish food, totally different meals than we have seen anywhere else. It was full with local people. The dishes are mainly hearthy, not very photogenic, but tasty. We had some cholent, pickled veggies, and dumplings. They had many cooked dishes and also soups. This place is for real foodies and people who are ready to try something different. I would especially recommend this place for lunch.

The seasoning was more dull than regular Ashkenazi food, portion were in general small in comparison to the prices and the overall experience was a little boring and tired. New energies and a more strict supervision in the kitchen would help!

The place is very authentic for traditional Jewish Ashkenazi food. Very tasty and good service

Great traditional, Eastern European homemade (or feels like homemade) Jewish food in a cozy restaurant on Dizengoff st. Chopped liver was great, and so were the homemade pickles. Good Israeli negev craft beer to accompany the food. Might require reservation in rush hours, or a small wait. Not on the cheap side but definitely Recommended!

Nice surprise after a spontaneous decision to try the Keton with his Jewish food specialties. Quality and service was good, nice atmosphere and competent service.

Waiter recommended on tchulnt, feels like it was reheated and not from the pot. Paid 100 NIS for one plate of tchulnt + service fee

bad service, when asked what is in this dish, the waiter answered "read, everything is written in menu", they waited a long time for payment, for 4 persons they gave 3 small pieces of bread for 16 shekels, I don't recommend this place, expensive and bad

The chulnt was flavorless, and there were pieces of either burnt/uncocked/? groats that get stuck in your teeth. Extremely expensive!

The restaurant proudly proclaims it has been open since 1945. Food excellent and absolutely full of Ashkenazi tradition, culture and flavour. Restaurant was quite but there was a seemingly thriving delivery service. Don't let this amazing place of Israeli culinary history go by. Go visit!!!!

I had goulash, with tzimmes and cholent as sides - all of which tasted much better than it looked - the food was flavorful and filling. Service was good as well.

Very good food, awesome place to eat with friends or family, the price a little bit spicy.

Taste like grandma's food... the original recipes... it doesn't get any Jewisher than this

This is not something kind of 100/5 star place. Thing is, it doesn't need to be. It has this old timey vibe, good food, feels like your grandfather's house. Even if you've never see the man. The food is not amazing, but it's good. The service is good. It's not an amazing place, it's a good place. Sometimes good is far superior to amazing.

Was looking for an authentic cholent, and found Keton one of the most recommended places. Gave it a try, and was absolutely satisfied! The staff was extremely helpful and friendly and the food was even better than expected. Don't miss it!

I told them we have a sick foster dog who's eating only boiled chicken, I asked them to send us only the chicken because I'm throwing away the sides, I'll pay for a full dish. They said I'll have to pay 70 extra for that.. kudos to you for having a heart my friends😟
