This is easily the best Ethiopian food I've had in any major city! The price is right, especially for the festival meal with a group or business lunch. Everyone I was with agreed it was one of the best meals we tried throughout the city. Always packed because the food quality is so good so call ahead with a larger group! Family owned and run, the love put in here shows in every plate.

First time to eat in Ethiopian restaurant. Food was good, a bit strange but good. No deserts in Ethiopian restaurants. We've got lots of explainations about the traditions and more.

Wonderful food with a communal experience. Our group of 8 came and although the space is small, they helped us set up one large table. We thoroughly enjoyed the meal.

very nice place tucked in the middle of a quiet street. went here for dinner and had plenty of food. the balinjera for 2 is definitely enough to feed 3 maybe 4 people we ended up taking half of it home. very tasty if you’re in the mood for Ethiopian food :)

Warm place to go eat with friends. Its not particularly cute but is rich and varied food. There is a menu for vegans and carnivores. Is kosher certified. It is not a romantic space.

Great atmosphere, nice food, but a little too simple. The service was not excellent, and we waited a lot for our order.

Attracted by the smell. We were walking by on our way from the beach in the afternoon and there was a magic smell in the air, which lead us to the Balinjera. So we reserved a table for dinner and it proved an excellent choice. Delicious food and very friendly service made it a great evening.

Friendly spot to try Ethiopian food for the first time, vegetarian and meat Eating options. Best if you want to share your food and enjoy it with someone. Imported beer, they say it’s spicy but it’s really not, they have a hand washing station for before and after sessions The whole plate was editable.

This place is amazing. The food is stellar. I spent five weeks in Ethiopia and never ate this well. The menu is affordable. The location is great--two blocks from the Med, just west of Carmel Market. I'll be back over and over.

Great value for money at this authentic Ethiopian restaurant! 10-15$ for a full, fresh and healthy vegetarian plate. Food is simple yet delicious. Order took literally 2 minutes to arrive, and staff were friendly and helpful.

Wanted to treat myself and guests to Ethiopian cuisine. Read the reviews on Google and Yelp. Highly recommended. Worthy of the ratings. Feasted on both the vegetarian platter and 3 meat menu options. All were delicious. Staff was super friendly and helpful. So glad we went.

Was really tasty and authentic ethiopian food. Had the festival, which is for 3-4 people, but it's also fine as a snack for 5. Would really recommend

Very tasty simple food. I preferred the vegetarian dishes, especially the lentils. The injera has an interesting slightly sour taste.

Our first time having Ethiopian food but it was worth trying something new. Was really delicious and the staff were super friendly. Really enjoyed it!

Great music, but the food was bland compared to other Ethiopian places, and staff were not very friendly or welcoming. And we had to wait a long time for our food.

Sweet little place, I like the atmosphere - very casual and relaxed. The food was good - we had the platter with lots of different dishes - some were very good, and some were just ok and even a bit bland (I found some of the dishes could use some more spices and flavours that I have enjoyed at other Ethiopian restaurants). Overall it's a fun place to have a meal. Lots of vegan and vegetarian options!

Wow! What a fantastic place! Very tasty, clean, fresh, lots of gluten free options. If you're in Kerem HaTemanim, you have to eat there. Best dish: yellow surprising hummus.

A must! Definitely my #1 restaurant choice in Tel Aviv (or Israel overall, really!). Extraordinary heavenly Ethiopian food, the warmest hospitality and nicest staff ever! The Love sauce is felt in every meal. No words can match the experience. Go, eat and see for yourself.

Went with some friends to this tiny restaurant on the outskirts of Shuk haCarmel. The food was delicious and the service was friendly and quick. You have the option of vegetarian and meat dishes, and each meal comes with additional bread and sauces. It was my first time having traditional Ethiopian cuisine and it definitely made me a fan.

Real culinary experience I have never eaten Ethiopian food, so we decided to try it there. I was a real experience. We were not disappointed, the food was very interesting, different, and the service was excellent. The price was very reasonable. We loved it. (you should take in to confederation that Ethiopian food is very spicy)

It was our first time trying #ethiopianfood and we loved it. The reviews we read about this place were true: the food is amaizing. The ladies serving here are so nice and they are explaining how to eat the food for a genuine experience. Don't miss this place out if you are in Tel-Aviv. It's also very close to the beach which makes possible a nice walk after a good meal.

Great great great staff! Authentic and super nice place. Simple & tasty Ethiopian cousin where you eat off of a huge, Laafa-like Ethiopian bread. Portions are big and not expensive

I am really like ethiopian vegan food but this restaurant could be more tasty. Maybe meat option is better. On the picture two-persons meal for 85 shekel

👍 It’s been a few years since my last visit and the place grew a lot and is now a huge restaurant right on the port of Jaffa. The design is very impressive too. We arrived just before 1pm and had plenty of room, despite the fact that we did not have an order. Right after we sat down, the staff brought...
