👍👍 Delicious sabich! I was so excited to see that gluten free was an option here. The gluten free pita is soft and fluffy. The eggplant is sweet and caramelized, the salads are crisp, the humus and tahina are creamy and the egg adds the protein punch. Such a great lunch! This literally deserves 10 stars… it is so tasty, so fresh. They take their time to make it into this beautiful piece of art.. you have to try it when in Tel Aviv.. For this price you won’t find anything like this

My first Israeli Sabich experience and it is nothing close to any western sandwiches I ever had. They cut open the pita bread with a small cutter blade and it surprisingly holds 2-4 folds of fillings than its own weight. Fried eggplant, boiled egg, cabbages, tahini sauce and bunch of aromatics and veggie. The end result is each mouthful is an explosion and mixture of different favour and texture. Sabich became my new favourite Middle Eastern dishes and I was told I went to the best Sabich in Israel. Maybe that’s why.

Loved the sabich here! So tasty, fresh and packed with different layers. A lot of effort is put into the preparation. Highly recommended!

Sabich is my absolutely favorite food I ate in Israel and the one from Sabich Tschernikovsiky is just THE ONE. This November I’ve tried it for the second time after 3 years break and it’s still just the best. Plus, they also had a really tasty gluten free pita, which was such a positive surprise. Compared to other Sabich I ate in Israel, this one was done with the greatest meticulous care, assembled layer after layer, rather than just throwing all the ingredients inside. All done without the unnecessary rush, so that you can taste each of the veg inside. The eggplant and the egg was also cooked just perfectly. Thank you, I will be back!

This sabich is worth the queue. The (painfully) slow service comes due to the great attention to details, which gives you the best sabich in town - hands down! Do dare and try the addition of cheese, which works magic with the eggplant. Be patient and enjoy.

I was walking toward the market and saw a queue at this shop. Didn't know what it offers, but decided to give it a blind try. The sabich sandwich is delicious. I'm surprised that I haven't seen it being sold in other cities. Highly recommended.

I was on my way to Stefan's ice cream down the road and I was intrigued by the long line for the Sabich. I was not disappointed to join the end of line. the Sabich with everything (Labane, thini, hard boild egg and salad) was fantastic, freshly made, flavorful, and the egg plant was soft not oily (!) I would definitely return for another one

Best Sabich in Tel Aviv. The ingredients were fresh and delicious. They take the time to arrange everything into a piece of art. Very friendly staff. Card payment was no issue.

We read about this place and the love this place gets online and in tv shows is all very much deserved. We got a regular sabich with cheese and one with tahini. Both were amazing and the price is also very nice for the portion you get.

It was my first time here, tried their veggie sandwich recommedated by the employee. Oh my god, it was sooo delicious. The bread tasted soft like cloud, then the toppings are so colorful and tasty. So healthy. This is the reason I’ll come back to tel aviv again. 5 star

Berlin called and wants its vegan kebab back. Sabich is for me a mix of flavors - here kebab without meat 😔 nothing more or less… I was shocked, I eat a lot better ones with not so good recommondations 🤷🏼‍♀️

What can I say? This guy is the MASTER. His love to his art shows every day. This is my first and last stop when I arrive to Israel. Best 25 shekels you can ever spend. Closest thing to the word LOVE you will find. Yes, I have been to Oved many times as well but this guy is out of this world good. If I could give an extra star for exeptional I would. Eggs, perfect. The eggplant pure joy. The cheese -insane. The salads are so fresh. The layering - omg. If I had to try really hard to find issues it is the lineup but it is worth every second of your waiting time. My advice - always wait for the owner to make it for you if you want a real work of art. My daughter is coming next month ti Israel and it will be her first stop. Thank you so much for job well done.

We came by in the evening when there wasn't a queue, but it smelled very nice, so we decided to stop even though we didn't know what Sabich is. 😅 Best choice of the night, as the pita was bursting full of flavours. Servers were also fun and singing while making our food. Best eggplant and egg sandwich combo you will find!

A long line and a long wait! supposed to be fast food, but it took nearly 5 min per sandwich. Except some shamelessly queue jumping locals, it was fun watching the guy making each sandwich. It was worth the wait. Super delicious!

Sabich is pita stuffed with fried eggplants, hard boiled eggs, chopped salad, parsley, amba and tahini sauce. Sabich tchernichovsky is the best Sabich in TLV and one of my favorite local street food. BTW, the place is at Alenby street. It was at Tchernichovsky in the past. Both locations are very close to each other.

Everything everyone else here has written is true (the good things of course) Probably the best sabich I’ve had in my life. Layered and constructed to perfection making you have eggplant in every bite.

Nice Sabich, also a good spot as there is Shawarma and Falafel next door, so you won't leave hungry. Also gluten free pita/Sabich option, although I didn't try it myself. Definitely recommend!

Delicious Sabich! Packed with flavour and with lots of options for the bread including gluten free and whole wheat. Highly recommended spot near Carmel market!

This isnt some pita shack where a bored 30 something hastily slaps together a half baked and sloppily executed sandwhich. This is the home of master craftsmen who methodically build a picture perfect sandwhich every single time. The line here moves slowly and thats because each one of the workers here puts the pita togerher with love, layering in to each section of the pita a balance of all the ingredients so that the flavor and appearance is top tier from the first bite down to the last. Not only is this a place most people will enjoy eating, its a place most restaurants in the country can learn a thing or two from. Come at night and not only do you get a sandwhich, youll also get the comedy free. This is a true local institution as well as a place visitors should definitely try out.

Absolute Best Sabich in Tel Aviv!! They carefully assemble it like a work of art! If you’re in Tel Aviv this is a once in a lifetime place to eat. Very reasonable prices. They even offer a sabich in a gluten free pita if you desire.

I had been waiting to try this Sabbich since I saw this on tv. Loved it. The aubergine is the star but such a light yet filing sandwich. Love it. Will be back for sure.

It’s got good reviews and for a reason! Very reasonably priced (23NIS) for a loaded sabich. They literally put everything in then put in the eggplant and load more salads and dips on top. Can’t stop going here! Amazing

Sandwich may be a humble thing, but they managed to make it dance in my mouth! That caramelised eggplant is soooo good! With the combination of eggs, potato, and fresh herbs…..I don’t know, I am not a vegetarian but it just works! Happy that I trusted the reviews and gave it a try. Very tasty.

👍 It’s been a few years since my last visit and the place grew a lot and is now a huge restaurant right on the port of Jaffa. The design is very impressive too. We arrived just before 1pm and had plenty of room, despite the fact that we did not have an order. Right after we sat down, the staff brought...
