Great place : I’m always come to the moon, and all the time fish is super fresh , and everything very tasty. One of the best Japanese cuisine in Israel . Must try ! The only thing, sometime the receptionist not work so well , but it was only one time. Hope its not happen again

Always delicious, beautiful serving. Cocktails were yummy! And had 50% off on the second (happy jour() Walked in mid day, didn't need to make reservations.

One of the best sushi places in Tel Aviv. Small and quiet but the vibe and experience are amazing. They're so creative with their rolls, it's really amazing. They have happy hour during lunch time which is super nice

A Tel Aviv sushi institution that has existed for years, every time I go there I get excited about the selection like a girl in a candy store. Surprising combinations, great flavors, fresh ingredients. Highly recommended!

In my opinion it’s one of the best sushi places in Israel, we visit this place for more than 20 yrs, they alway innovate, refresh their menu constantly, best fresh sushi and dishes and let’s not forget the prime soup dish - Shikoko tofu which is full of msg but really worth it!!! Highly recommend this place. There are 2 restaurants close to one another, Bugrashov street is the young vibe, bar, intimate place as opposed to the other on which is more suitable for families, calm hangout. They have awesome cocktails and happy hour.

Best sushi place in tel aviv. The menu is vast and super creative. We ordered one of the business lunches and then drank some warm sake to have a second lunch. Well worth the price. It seems like it's super popular for takeout.

It was fine. We didn’t order too much because we weren’t very hungry. The place is not really big but it is very busy and if you don’t reserve a place in advance you will have to wait around 40+ minutes. When we called them and tried to reserve a place they said that you can’t, you just come and if there is an available seat you take it… I don’t know what happened but when we came there were people who managed to reserve a seat in advance and didn’t have to wait a lot of time. Anyway, the food was pretty nice the prices are high in my opinion compare to the size of the food.

Used to like the place, but the last two years it’s getting worse and worse. They used to make 6 pieces of sushi rolls and now it’s 8 pieces, but how did they manage to make the portion even smaller than before? 🤦🏼‍♀️Waited for our order for 3 hours, it’s always very long with Moon, but 3 hours? 😐 Giving 2 stars and not 1 just because the ingredients are fresh and the taste is still fine, but not going to order it again.

Well how to say it, i visited enough sushi bars in my life, and this one is just number 1. The sushi here is amazing, perfect rice, amazing topping, all fresh, a big variety, rolls with all kind of fish, and also not a small vegetarian menu. The prices are on the higher end, tho worth it no doubt. Would recommend to try the Indian summer (the one on the left) and the chilli lemon(the bottom one).

great sushi, great service, great selection. I love the fact how all menu items have photos. it really helps decide (as well as get more sushi). overall my favorite sushi place in town *edit* Downgraded to 4* as last time (April 22) we got no service. Something about shift changes. We waited long as food was forgotten, no oned clread our dishes or asked if we need anything. First time ever in my life I didn't leave a tip. Sorry...

Great place for sushi in Tel Aviv. Had its ups and hiccups, but was super on our dinner evening. Food quality, service, atmosphere - all were just very good. Oshi unagi, don't worry, salmon mamba and hinari salmon were all very tasty. Teas (geisha flowers and sencha) were ok - brewed with a bit too hot of a water. The prices were never a strong side of this place, but the quality well-worth it. Very recommend!

So on the valentines day , me and my wife went to this restaurant, the atmosphere was superb. The restaurant was full of people , the waitresses are kind , there is no parking near the restaurant, and its so hard to find one. About the food , we ordered the fried tofu, was good , came with spiced soy sauce, that was salty,spicy and refreshing , pretty basic , but good . The other dish we ordered was the sushi combination, and to be honest , all the rolls waste same by taste . That's too bad. But it tasted good. Ide give it 3 stars , cause of the good staff and atmosphere.

Food is amazing, service is incredible and very fast, the waiters are super nice and always are up for a chat. The food is authentic not like most other places. It is abit pricy but it is well worth it!

I'll leave the original review, but lowering my score to 1 star due to Green Passport requirement. Original: Nice atmosphere, great attention to details, fresh ingredients. Some dishes were very tasty, some were lacking punch. The Oshi Napoleon was by far the best dish, the YuzuSashimi was juat bad. Pretty, but bad. The Ramen soup with shrimps was delicious. The service was great. Overall a good experience but it's a once a year kind of restaurant for me. Regarding prices, it's definitely not cheap ;) Probably the best Sushi in Tel Aviv.

Delicious sushi!! Really really amazing sushi, highly recommended! The service is ok, but definitely had some room for improvement... We waited for about 45 minutes for our food, during this time the waitress didn't bring us any water although we asked for it, neither sure checked with us where we wanted to order anything else before the kitchen closes...

The sushi is good the service is bad. They forgot half of the order then said “sorry we are busy” The ramen soup arrived with uncooked broken noodles which tasted like rubber and the wasabi arrived already open. Not worth it - go to Zesushi instead where they care about their clients

The sushi are extremely creative and delicious; while the staff are very friendly. It is such a pleasure to have these nice Asian food during the journey.

It’s way overpriced. If you’re going there for sushi it might be good but I ordered a ramen and honestly I wasn’t impressed, it looked a bit far from a cute picture you see on the menu. They put huge chunks of vegetables in the bowl, just feels like they are thoughtlessly dumped in there. The taste was not that impressive, I’ve tried better tasting ramen.

Very nice sushi. We did not expect to have this quality of sushi in Tel Aviv. Price is reasonable as well. Highly recommended.

Went twice, have a very good variety of sushi on the menu and pricing is reasonable. The staff are fine at what they do but are not that attentive. Sushi restaurant menus' back in the UK tend to be very similar to each other so it was refreshing to have a lot more choice of sushi/styles I had not seen before. I used to be a sushi chef and whilst the chefs there did not seem to take too much care and finesse with the form of the rolls, I cannot argue with the flavors and presentation. Would recommend and go again.

Whoever conceived Moon, did it with serious consideration of the diner's experience. This goes well beyond the food: the space itself, the atmosphere it impairs, everything about it is planned for the diner to have a wonderful experience. In that it succeeds above and beyond. And then comes the sushi, which for me was a more complicated story. The fish quality is outstanding, no doubt, and the care in constructing a variegated menu is commendable. The end result however varied between the occasional excellent and the less successful. On occasion the presentation was rough and uneven, and sometimes style was over substance, and beautifully layered constructions ended up being muddled in flavors, or missed on the right proportion between rice and fish. Our overall experience was wonderful, drinks are masterfully made, service was perfection, so next time we'll choose different, simpler preparations.

Service is great, dishes are amazing, some more than others. Some have a slightly strong flavour, some on the other hand are a bit dull. Ramen eggs were overcooked this time around. Overall great experience, I love it and I recommend it.

We went there as a family of 5 based on previous reviews. We were super disappointed. Service was slow. We tried to ask for water in it took like 5 minutes to get the waiter’s attention. Then she gave us the water from another table of people who just left. Seriously?? We waited for 40 minutes to get the food even though we clearly asked not to wait for everything to be ready but to serve it little by little when it is ready. Moreover, food was only average. Sushi came pretty warm (not the right temperature for me). I will definitely not come back there.
