👍👍 I can't say enough about how great this experience was. Tani walked a small group of us around the Carmel Market and introduced us to several families that have been perfecting their food craft for generations. He was very informative and it was clear he loves his city. Come hungry and wear stretchy... Truly this was one of the best food tour experiences that I have had the pleasure of taking. From the very moment we met inbal she was such a ray of sunshine. Extremely knowledgeable in he history of the area and of course the food we went to more than 7 places and had a huge amount to eat, she always made sure that we had enough in every place that we went to. I truly cannot fault the levinsky market tour its a super cool boho area that’s a world away from modern Tel Aviv and it actually became the only place that I would eat while in the city. My favorite place was the levinsky 41 cafe a cool coffe nook that was specialising in herbal healthy fruit sodas they were pure magic. I cannot recommend his company enough their professionalism and her attitude is fantastic. so don’t hesitate to book.

We had the most incredible cooking experience with Sevim! First we explored the market area of Tel Aviv, stopping to taste delicious snacks and spices along the way. Her expertise and storytelling was amazing. We gathered ingredients for our dinner, which included chicken & veggie shawarma, roasted cauliflower, eggplant, homemade pita bread, Israeli salad (my personal favorite), tahini, and a custard dessert. We cooked dinner and enjoyed our meal in a gorgeous modern kitchen with a wrap-around balcony overlooking the city. I couldn’t recommend this enough, she made our trip so special and we will definitely be returning someday!!

Awesome 4.5 hour walking food tasting tour with Jacob. We covered a lot of ground in Jaffa port, old Jaffa, Jaffa market, Neve Tzedek and Carmel market. All the food tastings were great. Highly recommended tour even for somebody that’s been to Israel many times!

Went on an amazing food tour with Jordana in the Carmel Market. Firstly, let me mention that the interaction with everyone prior to the actual tour, from booking and final meeting, was seamless, easy and professional. Now to the tour, Jordana was so knowledgeable and personable. It felt like we were walking through the market with an old friend! The spots we stopped at were fabulous- from the falafel and gelato to the various Yemenite dishes, we left happy with full stomachs! Would highly recommend Delicious Israel for your next visit to Israel!

I had an exceptional experience with Delicious Israel's food tour in Tel Aviv, guided by Mariel. Her intelligence, charisma, and ability to set the perfect pace made the tour truly enjoyable. Exploring iconic hole-in-the-wall establishments near Old Jaffa and the vibrant Carmel Market was a delightful culinary adventure, but the highlight was visiting Irit's "no name cafe" to savor the delectable Yemenite pancake called lahuh. Not only did we indulge in diverse flavors, but Mariel also enlightened us with fascinating insights into the history of Tel Aviv and Israel. If you can only choose one tour in Tel Aviv, I highly recommend Delicious Israel for an unforgettable gastronomic and educational journey.

We did a walking food tour of Levinsky Market and it was the highlight of our trip!!! The two guides were knowledgeable, friendly, good storytellers and engaging. We highly recommend this company over others and take this particular tour. There were only six of us and we got to ask lots of questions -- and all the food stops were fabulous!!!

Did the Eat Tel Aviv tour with Mai. It was wonderful. We were introduced to the amazing diversity of food Tel Aviv has to offer. So much great food. And Mai was a legend. Very knowledgeable about the foods as well as their historical contexts. I highly recommend doing this tour as a great introduction to the city whether you consider yourself a foodie or not.

The Shuk & Cook was the perfect tour for me. We started at Carmel Market in Tel Aviv, sampling many delights along the way. There were 7 in our group so the smaller size lended to a more personal experience. Our guide, Sevim, was well versed in the history of the market and also Israel in general. She was cute and funny! I was surprised at the amount of food we consumed at the market even with just sampling! Be sure to go on an empty stomach because when you get to the studio for the cooking portion of the tour there will be more to eat! The studio was stylish & intimate. Even as a seasoned cook & baker I learned much from her in the way of technique. I would recommend this tour to anyone as you are getting a first hand look at the market, meet new people & experience Israeli hospitality first hand.

The tour with our guides through Tel Aviv was awesome!!! We had a lot of fun and a great time. During the tour we did not only learned a lot of historical background about Israel and especially Tel Aviv, but also about many wonderful people. They gave us the best insights into the Israeli cuisine with all its incredibly beautiful and especially tasty facets. It was an incomparable experience, which I would not want to miss again. In addition, there was always the possibility of free and clean drinking water (in Israel, the tap water has a top quality) and free toilets. I am very grateful to the guys from delicious Israel for this great experience. The next time I'm back in Tel Aviv, I will again book a tour of delicious israel 😃

Mikey Shamir led us on the “Eat Tel Aviv” tour today and it was outstanding! He was warm, knowledgeable and engaging. We started at the Jaffa port and walked through Jaffa, Neve Tzedek and the Carmel market. We stopped along to way for some fascinating history lessons about the area we were in as well as sampling classic Israeli foods. It’s a long tour with a lot of walking but it was truly a wonderful experience! We loved it and highly recommend!

I’ve been to Israel 10+ times but never took a culinary tour. I learned so much about the history of Tel Aviv while sampling new foods. Our tour guide Penina was engaging and shared so much historical information about the area. My 18 year old son and I thoroughly enjoyed our day.

We had a fantastic experience with our wonderful chef and guide Sevim! She met us at the Carmel Market and led us through a mini-tasting experience at market stalls selling juices, spices, falafel, and more. As we walked and ate, she also gave us a history of the market and of Israeli food. After our wonderful trip to the market, we walked over to Delicious Israel's fabulous rooftop kitchen and prepared the most phenomenal meal of sabich, chicken shawarma, hummus, homemade pita, and more. As we looked out at the sea, we toasted to Sevim and the amazing day we spent together cooking, dancing, laughing, and eating. One of our favorite memories of Israel- thank you Sevim and Delicious Israel!

Our group has an amazing cooking class, where they were taught all about Israeli cuisine. There was so many fragrant spices and aromas and it was so delicious. We will take this magical experience home and will be making these traditional dishes at home! The cauliflower dish was amazing... actually it all was!

We did a Private Mehadrin tour with Liat, we had an amazing experience, starting with the booking they were so helpful to accommodate our needs, the tour itself was well designed to start with great hidden gems, started with light food and then to more heavy and to finish with delicious Ice cream/Sorbet.

My wife and I had an absolutely incredible day with our A+ tour guide, Sam, and our tour group. We loved the bits of history and culture learned throughout, and every morsel of food and drink was to die for. Thank you Sam and we HIGHLY recommend this wonderful tour (we did the longer 4 hour one)!!

We did the private Carmel Market Tour in early May, and it was actually my favorite thing that we did my entire two weeks in Israel. Our guides were so fun and personable, it was immediately like being around friends. They knew the market very well, and took us to all the best spots - I have literally been dreaming of the perfect Sabich and that hummus from Shlomo and Doron ever since. It was just amazing. Highly recommend.

I highly recommend Delicious Israel food tours. Most recently, we toured the Mahane Yehuda Jerusalem shuk with tour guide Leora. Our 3 hour loop was delicious and fun and filling (!!). Leora is passionate about food, culture, and history. She is a terrific guide who walked us through the market, sharing anecdotes and the best bites from different vendors. The tour includes plenty of savory classics, sweet treats, and insider experiences. It's fun for couples or families or groups. This is our 4th Delicious Israel experience. We will keep coming back until we have eaten everything. Thank you Delicious Israel for another spectacular experience.

Our tour in Jerusalem was an incredible way to start the trip. Our guide was so friendly and knowledgeable and took us to so many places in the market. This is an amazing way to see Israel and I encourage everyone to book one of these tours.

We had a wonderful time touring the Levinsky market. We enjoyed all the best spots and had front row seats. Our tour guides were knowledgeable, fun, personable, and very patient. We could not have asked for a better experience. We highly recommend this service to enhance your Israeli experience.

I was delighted to be able to connect with Delicious Israel for both the Sabbath Dinner and the Food Tour. I can't say enough about how wonderful both experiences were. They definitely enhanced my sojourn in Israel. You don't want to miss these great opportunities. Suggestion--begin communicating and scheduling a few weeks before your trip and also be open for spontaneous openings when you land there. Highly recommend!!!!

Delicious Israel is so good I went on multiple tours with the company throughout my time in Israel. The experience between Levinsky and Carmel Market tour is unique; the style of the market and the food are so different from each other. The Carmel Market is more of your classic Israeli Shuk and Levinsky is more spread out and you stop in different shops to try the food. If you like to learn more history and eat, the Jaffa tour is a must. Eat hummus and walk through Jaffa, enjoy delicacies in Neve Tzedek, and enjoy the grand finale in the Carmel Market. This tour is the longest, expect to spend 4-5 hours on this tour. Lastly, the cooking workshop is by far my favorite because you can take this experience to your kitchen at home. Learn to cook Sabich, Shakshuka, or Malabi. It was amazing cooking in their rooftop kitchen by the Carmel Market with such an incredible view. If you book later in the afternoon, enjoy watching the sunset on the ocean as you enjoy your own cooking! Of course, all the tour guides were nice and accommodating. I have a gluten allergy and have been able to try almost all the food on the tour. They have also accommodated for dairy and nut sensitivities. **Accommodates tour to be Gluten Free**

We went on an AMAZING food tour in Tel Aviv! Highly highly recommend. Was a great way to spend our one day in Tel Aviv because we were able to learn about the culture, history and eat amazing food all at the same time!

Delicious experience! We took the Levinsky Tour with Chaya and Ari. They were so warm, welcoming and knowledgeable. I really appreciated the icebreaker at the beginning of the tour; it helped us to get to know everyone we'd be sharing food with. At each stop Chaya and Ari would give us a brief intro and history of what we were about to try. I never would have been able to try so many things in such a short amount of time. It was a wonderful way to spend the afternoon. Definitely come hungry - it's a LOT of food.
