I did a one week Krav Maga camp in May. Although I am new to Krav Maga, I had an incredible time & took a deep dive into the Krav world. Ron & Jarrod are incredible instructors and I would do it again in a heart beat. We trained in different locations (beach, military base, forest, Jerusalem) and got to meet the best of the best Krav Maga teachers in Israel. This is a memory I’ll never forget. Thank you Ron & the entire team for this fun challenge!

I did the Krav Maga Camp in May 2022. Once in a lifetime experience! Ron and Jerrod were able to crest an experience that combines technique, fitness, cultural experience of Israel and a social atmosphere. Amazing group and great friends made along the way! The group is big enough that allows you to find people of different levels of Krav Maga and fitness overall, allowing good matches for beginners and experienced fighters alike. One of the best trips I have ever made.

The camp was an amazing experience. Learning Krav Maga by the best instructors, meeting people from all over the world and last but not least, enjoying Tel Aviv. Three pillars that make this camp unique.

I had such an amazing time on the Krav Maga camp. I went in 2017 and cannot recommend it highly enough. I enjoyed training with experts from around the world as well as with lots of 'regular' people like me. The camp mixes up the training and locations, and the highlight for me was Wingate Beach at dawn. In the ocean doing pushups, then fighting my way up a massive and steep sand dune. The students were all great, the instructors expert and friendly and then there's Israel. What a beautiful and fun country. On Ron's advice, I took a couple of extra weeks to see the country. The food, people, sights and life of Israel blew me away. I can't wait to go back.

It was a very very special couple of private lessons I had. Having done zero martial arts for 35 years, I got immaculately looked after by Bar - the most immaculate mix of calmness and capability of any teacher of anything. He pushed me when I needed to be pushed, didn’t let sloppiness go by without comment / repeating the move until it was perfect and overall he gave me those lessons where afterwards I went back to my hotel to continue a little practice. He really was very special and it was a privilege to be taught by him. Beyond Bar, Krav Maga were great to deal with, when there were mishaps they dealt with them professionally and courteously and I look forward to one day (soon) returning to continue with training with them again.

Whether you are an absolute beginner or a seasoned practitioner at any level, the Immersion camp from KMI is the coolest Krav Maga experience you can have. I am convinced of that. For the price of it, it's also the most valuable. I could not be happier with the experience, and believe me it's an experience! I watched absolute beginners grasp and physically demonstrate the fundamental concepts of Krav Maga in a matter of days, which is remarkable. The structure is incredibly well thought through. Ron has a certain brilliance about him when it comes to creating ways for people to learn. I learned things that I thought I already knew, but with enhanced context which of course led to much deeper understanding. My personal experience was that I could really immerse myself in the course, which is exactly the point! Visiting historical locations and learning first hand about the history of the system that I love was an experience I will never forget. The immersion camp is also suitable for entire families. In fact, I could not think of a more awesome family activity. Spend quality time with your loved ones while learning how to protect yourselves from physical harm! For those new to Krav Maga: I believe this course represents the most efficient way to learn a substantial amount of the most efficient self protection system on earth. For those already practising Krav Maga, at any level: the more you immerse yourself, the more you will get from it. What you practice grows. Practising a Martial Art is about defending your right to transform, as life itself is transformation; to live is to transform. Transformation is a fractal of Evolution. Krav Maga is as real as it gets. If you go deep, it becomes a way of life, from the backpack you choose to carry to the bicycle you choose to ride, even the way you do business. The more you immerse yourself in Krav Maga and honour the teachings of those who came before you, the more you will be able to live your life without fear.

Don't have enough words to say how amazing this Camp was (100% recommended). I had a fantastic experience that helped me in many personal fronts. All instructors (especially Ron and Jarrod who are incredibly supporting and have a vast knowledge and experience of KM). The other selected seminars with top ranking KM specialists were also amazing! Training on the beach, forest, dunes was also quite worth while challenge. Visiting the Holocaust Museum is definitely a rewarding and humbling experience, it's must go! The food in Israel is delicious (including my favorite botz coffee), if you can stay for another food camp I'd highly recommend! I would also thank Joe Ambrosino from Institute Krav Maga UK for having offered this unforgettable experience. Last but not least, you will train with people from all over the world, which will help you take your KM to another level and you'll also make good friends!

Highly recommended. Started training with them (Krav Maga Defence Institute) as a martial arts newbie - barring some Judo as a kid - and ended up loving every bit of it, including two awesome trips to Israel for their Krav Maga camp. Suitable for beginners to advanced; Ron, Jarrod and the other instructors have tons of experience and are able to adapt to the class proficiency level. Not least, they are able to attract a fun crowd :) I look forward to the next camp with them!

Krav Maga Israel 2022 was an incredible, amazing experience in every respect. For Krav Maga, Ron and Jarrod are not only world-class instructors, they are great people and excellent teachers. Everyone attending the camp became great friends - I could not have imagined being with a nicer group of people to train with and hang out with each day. With all the different places we trained at, places we visited, and the touring days after camp, we got to experience the amazing food and culture of Israel. If you are thinking about attending a Krav Maga Israel camp, do it - you will take home many wonderful memories and have the experience of a lifetime.

Incredible experience. If you do Krav Maga or are interested in it, you owe it to yourself to experience where it comes from. This course balances challenging training (to your level) with an immersion in the history and pillars of the system. It's delivered in an encouraging way and the social aspects are great too. You will make new friends and make enduring memories. I certainly did.

I was a total beginner with no prior experience in martial arts. Krav Maga camp in Israel was amazing despite my me being a beginner. I learnt so much and made amazing friends! I took the private training with BAR and it was AMAZING! He is such a great practitioner, instructor and friend! I will most certainly be back to TLV for more!!!

One of the best experiences ever! I attended the Krav Maga Israel camp in May 2019 and it totally exceeded my expectations. We got to train in varied locations (indoors and outdoors) with experienced instructors who are experts in different aspects of combat. There was a great balance of training, cultural activities and opportunities to socialise. The camp caters for all experience and ability levels and we were encouraged to push ourselves beyond our limits within reason. Last but not least, food in Israel is amazing! Highly recommended!

What can I say about this company and their work other than wow. Just completed the May boot camp. 7 days of wall to wall training! It’s been an intense week covering every aspect of Krav Maga. Whether you have been learning since you could walk or have never tried before the amazing team spearheaded by Ron, will be there every step of the way. You skill leave will be matched along with weight and height so you are pushed but not overwhelmed. Just finished the June 2022 camp. Far beyond learning Krav Maga techniques (which you do too). You will learn all about the cultural and historic background, train in different locations and always feel being taken care of by them. Beyond fun!

Had the best private session while visiting Tel Aviv with friends. All of us were beginners and our trainer Bar put together a really interesting and enjoyable session that gave us a good grounding in the basics while also providing a great workout. Will definitely be back for further sessions in the future.

I just did the Instructor Course with Ron in Tel Aviv and I had the best time! Although I have practised Krav Maga for years, I have never learned so much about it and its values and background in such a short and intense period of time. It was amazing and I could've gone on for way longer. The group of like-minded and passionate colleagues from around the world was so empowering and full of comraderie and Ron and his team are such competent, skilled and inspiring instructors full of humanity, humour and integrity. I had some concerns before I flew to Israel for the Immersion Camp. I wasn't sure if I, as an absolute beginner, would be able to keep up and if I would be able to physically handle the training. All of that was not the case. I learned an incredible amount and returned from the experience encouraged and inspired. Looking back, I wish I had been exposed to Krav Maga much earlier in my life. The training was incredibly well structured so that by the end of just one week, you really feel like you are able to act when the situation calls for it. Through repetition in different contexts and environments and with a wide variety of people, the techniques have become well ingrained in my subconscious and I am confident that I will be able to recall them. Experiencing Tel Aviv was also a special experience. The city pulses with vital energy and celebrates life itself. In my experience, the people there treat each other very respectfully and kindly. Being on site and experiencing this energy touched me deeply. I can't thank Ron and his team enough. You are doing such valuable work. Not only for each individual personally, but also for humanity as a whole. Krav Maga has so much potential for personal growth, for social interaction, for transforming bad experiences and I believe for collective change on a higher level. The way you teach it in your program, it can reach everyone, everyone can benefit from it and it empowers everyone on so many levels. I had an incredible experience with Bar & Krav Maga Israel. Having never practiced Krav Maga before, I last minute gave myself a challenge and decided to book an intense 25 hours of private lessons over a 10 day period. I have an extremely short level of focus but due to Bar’s phenomenal teaching ability, enthusiasm and character, Bar very quickly had me inspired and addicted to the sport. At no moment did the process feel monotonous as there was a constant rotation between the interesting fundamental Krav Maga principals, techniques and of course always strenuous physical work. I am now looking to continue pursuing Krav Maga thanks to the eye opening experience. I cannot recommend Bar and Krav Maga Israel more. ******

My wife and I did a private session with Bar while on holiday in Tel Aviv. She is a complete beginner while I have existing martial arts experience. Bar perfectly tailored the session to both our levels and we both walked away from the session having learnt lots while also having fun! Highly recommend.

The immersion camp at KMI in May 2023 was a once in a lifetime experience. The programme is refined almost to perfection, accommodating different levels, allowing the group to discover Israel and train a wide range of Krav Maga techniques in all kinds of scenarios. After taking a break in my KM training, this week gave me the biggest motivational boost that I could ask for. Ron is a fantastic instructor and the organisational aspects of the camp ran extremely smoothly. This review wouldn’t be complete without also mentioning Bar Nahoom, who was attentive, helpful and always brought a positive energy to the group.
