Skytown
in
Park
Hayarkon
in
Tel
Aviv.
Since
summer
started
I
started
taking
off
one
day
a
week
for
day
trips
with
the
family.
My
3
eldest
are
off
from
school
so
I
took
them
here.
I
give
this
place
5
stars,
but
only
for
people
who
are
not
afraid
of
heights.
For
example,
my
16
y.o.
hates
heights
so
he
rode
his
bike
around
the
park
while
I
climbed
with
my
14
and
13
y.o.
girls.
He
took
most
of
the
pictures
for
reasons
you
will
read
shortly.
The
idea
here
is
that
there
are
4
levels
of
activity.
Every
participant
is
given
a
harness,
attached
by
a
special
rope
to
two
special
latching
mechanisms.
To
enter
a
level,
a
park
employee
attaches
your
latching
mechanism
to
a
guide
cable
and
lets
you
in
to
the
level.
Once
you
are
attached
to
a
guide
cable,
you
can
do
the
activities
which
are
all
essentially
variation
of
climbing
on
challenging
rope
bridges
or
other
structures
way
up
in
the
air,
between
wooden
platforms.
What
is
unique
about
the
latching
mechanism
is
that
you
physically
can
only
remove
one
latching
mechanism
at
a
time
from
the
guide
cable,
so
you
are
always
attached
to
a
guide
cable
and
you
can't
fall.
You
can
switch
from
activity
to
activity
on
a
given
floor
by
detaching
one
latching
mechanism
from
a
guide
cable,
reattaching
it
using
a
special
magnet
device
to
the
guide
cable
of
the
desired
activity,
then
doing
the
same
with
the
second
latching
mechanism.
I
can't
see
how
it's
possible
to
fall
off
and
we
all
felt
very
safe.
We
booked
time
in
the
afternoon,
at
3:30.
It
was
a
bit
hot,
but
most
of
the
activities
were
well
shaded.
There
is
also
a
water
fountain
with
an
option
to
fill
water
bottles.
I
suggest
booking
in
advance.
There
is
a
size
restriction.
You
need
to
be
140
cm
to
use
the
higher
levels.
My
13
y.o.
is
140
and
a
bit,
but
using
the
latching
mechanism
was
a
bit
hard
for
her,
so
I
stayed
with
her
to
help
her
with
it.
We
were
let
in
promptly
at
3:30
and
given
a
10-15
minutes
instruction
and
practice
session
on
terra
firma.
We
then
went
to
the
second
level
and
did
just
about
all
the
activities.
Each
ticket
gives
you
1.5
hours,
which
we
felt
was
almost
enough,
but
we
didn't
get
to
do
the
highest
level.
We
will
come
back
eventually.
Important
to
note
that
you
must
empty
your
pockets
and
not
take
anything
in
them.
They
give
free
lockers
and
make
sure
you
return
the
key
by
taking
your
ID.
The
cost
was
199
ILS
for
3
people,
which
I
think
is
totally
reasonable.
It
was
not
crowded
and
the
staff
was
helpful
and
friendly.
