It's such a beautiful dam in Thanjavur locality. It is very near to GRT hotel. But it is not safe for swimming. Also, it is not advisable to visit alone or as a couple. The place is not safe as the locals tend to rag people visiting here. Try to visit here as a large group. The path to this dam is very beautiful. It is best to visit during sunrise or sunset.

A good and safe place to take bath and swim in the vennar river near Palliagraharam, Thanjavur.

Good place to admire the flow of water. People who know good swimming can go near the bridge to take a bath. Otherwise not advisable to jump anywhere u wish.
