Shri P. Bhaskaran known as Bhaskaran Maash also.. was a Film Producer Director Scriptwriter Lyricist Actor etc etc . A poet par excellence.. The statue is at Althara jn Vellayambalam in memory of one of the greatest film personalities. His venture "Neelakuyil " was among the most popular cinema in the earlier history of malayalam films. Not a day passes in Kerala without sombody singing at least one his melodious song. His family lives at Jawaharnagar Trivandrum.
