Went to cheers bar which they “claim as executive bar”. Tables were not cleaned properly and was full of food leftovers. Literally we kept changing our seat for more than three times but the situation was the same. Don't know why they are charging this much for such a cramped space.

Everything about the property was satisfactory except a major confusion that occurred during the stay that deeply disappointed us. We got a call in the evening saying that they have arranged complimentary dinner buffet for us. They mentioned that in our package complimentary breakfast isn’t available but dinner is. I was taken aback but thought it could be true. So I went to the restaurant to double check. Asked them if this was complimentary, to which they replied “yes”. 4 of us (parents, husband and I) had dinner and then the staff asks if we would like to pay immediately or during check-out. We were shocked! A lot of back and forth communication happened and eventually we ended up paying for buffet with a 20% discount to compensate for their miscommunication (Despite that, I had to pay a bill of ₹3500/- for food alone. Ironically, we barely ate). I am thoroughly disappointed with what happened and hope it doesn’t happen to someone else. If you’re staying here, please ensure you triple-check with them as they all don’t seem to be on the same page. Also, why aren’t enough towels provided in the bathrooms? I thought 4 star hotels should provide more than one towel, without the guest having to call up room service requesting for more?

This is a luxurious property located at the heart of Thiruvananthapuram. Major destinations like Padmanabhaswamy temple are at a walkable distance. The suite was spacious and well equipped. A secondary washroom was an outstanding feature. Cleanliness was given high priority. Ample storage space was available. The restaurant serves buffet during all meals. The food served was above average, but still has scope for improvement. The staff was well-trained and ready to help. Them not allowing packed sweets to be delivered to the room was unnecessary though.

Good service, good food and lovely rooms for stay. Huge property with a large parking, swimming 🏊‍♀️ pool and an awesome restaurant facilities in the middle of Trivandrum city. Only issue is to find the place even though It is next to main highway but the rood leading to hotel is very conjusted and narrow making it very difficult to maneuver SUV.

Visited Classic Sarovar Portico Thiruvananthapuram in October '22 for a night. Checked in at around 9pm and had to leave at 6am. I was upgraded to a suite. Went to the room to find that there are no towels. Even after an hour of requesting it, I didn't receive it. Went to the reception and was told that there are no towels in the hotel !! I was offered bed sheets/ pillow covers as a substitute for towels! Anyways, somehow managed to procure a couple of hand towels for my shower. The hotel staff was good and they said that due to a cricket team who took more towels, they ran out of it. Another major issue which I encountered was that my credit card was charged twice for my stay. Thankfully I checked my statement and contacted the hotel. They refunded the amount back to my account after a few days. I've never experienced such incidents in my stay anywhere else. Pros: 1. Good location 2. Courteous staff 3. Nice suite Cons: 1. No towels for my stay! 2. Understaffed housekeeping. 3. Poor service. 4. Hotel entrance is situated almost a floor higher and requires climbing to reach the reception. 5. The AC in the bedroom was not working properly, so I had to keep the door of the living room open for proper cooling. 6. Was charged twice for my stay on my card.

One of the worst Hotel in our 21 days Trip to India We booked 11 room on 19 Feb 2023. The activities and behavior of Manager on duty was spoiled our efforts for the 20 days and brought bad name from the clients Hotel located in the narrow road. It is NOT recommended for group tour with big bus Hotel Manager behaving was very rude and NOT helpful. He said it is the responsibility of the organizer to bring the bus to the parking area of the Hotel Even the Manager NOT ready to spare one staff to guide our Driver to bring bus to the parking area of Hotel. Photo shown in the website is NOT original - all photos edited through photoshop or Canva. Bad Experience. Our foreign clients have to wait inside the bus more than 2 hours. But the Manager and Front Desk staff are NOT ready to help us. NOT recommended for stay in this Hotel

Really enjoyed our stay over here. Went with family and our stay was really comfortable in this hotel. Not one but each and every person in staff was very helpful and at service always. The best thing was each and every person in staff was smiling always which I haven't seen in any hotel so far. Right from securities to receptionist to house keeping, everyone was always smiling which was so pleasant to see. Security guards were also very helpful in getting auto rickshaws for us. They were all available and just a call away.. They also have a small parking space for guest parking.. Our stay was short here and we didn't have food here so can't comment on that.. Shree Padmanabhaswamy temple was also about 1.5 kms from this hotel and autos were easily available to reach temple in just about ₹40-50. Definitely recommend this hotel to everyone!!

Reviews made by others are contradictory to my experience. 1)Only hotel which gave me early check-in (Over 20 Hotels declined early check-in as they replied as international norms!!!) 2) This Hotel has years of history & experience, so the structure & few facilities has also its ageing but the management is amazing in maintaining the quality. 3) I admired the drinking water provided in the room & hotel. (Entire Western Ghats has natural pure water, some Drinking water companies mislead stating we are the only ones providing quality water and mislead those who are not aware about what you intake). Thus this hotel does not produce plastic waste compared to others. 4) Rules are there, but the staff knows when to apply rules. (More than rules they have common sense which is not common to all)

Had a dinner party yesterday celebrating our mother's 75th birthday. The arrangements were very well done. Special thanks to Mr.Kumar for taking care of everything for us from beginning to end. The dinner buffet spread was quite nice and very tasty too. Will come again!

Hotel is very big and good looking Rooms are good ,staff are very courteous and supportive. The only issue is there food being a north indian i not like the food quality as compared to he pricing even we tried the south indian dise but they are also not upto the mark and not matching with the test. Overall an average experience as compared to the pricing . Suggesting hotel to improve the food quality Although they look very royal but quality need to improve.

Nice ambience, nice service and overall good experience. Location is in the city but the road is bit remote. But overall nice and value for money. Food is also very nice. For get together, conference, vacation, we can have this. Railway station is very near. And Thampanoor is walkable distance.

The rooms were good and worth of staying... We felt like the bed linens and towels are old and can be replaced with new ones... Staffs and the service they provided are superb especially the security staff were really helpful...

Good property and service is not bad either. Food cuisine options are very very less (hardly a handful) be it buffet or a la carte. Food taste is just 'eatable' sorts. Kerala dishes are not quite authentic (as confirmed by a foody in our team) nor are the North Indian dishes. If you return from sightseeing after 10 pm, be prepared to sleep hungry or in case you are lucky you may get a food app like tomato/twiggy deliver a pizza.

Service not upto the mark. Had to wait long for rooms. Asked for extra bed as soon as we checked in. But was given only after 12 at night after multiple follow-ups. The ceiling at the pathway was leaking. bathroom towels were not provided. We had to specifically ask for it. no bathroom mats cause of that the floor in front of the bathroom is always wet and slippery. Food at the restaurant was ok. Nothing special. Not worth the rates they charge. The service at the restaurant was good. The in charge took efforts to explain and understand our feedback.

It was a pure waste of money. My sister and brother-in-law stayed at this property recently. The room was very congested. There was a hot water issue in the bathroom. When they tried to contact reception, no one responded. The kettle in the room was not working. The bathroom is too crampy. It was a total disappointment and It's not at all recommended.

Location is very good temple is walk-in distance. Rooms are beautiful lil tight don't go for basic room if you are couple bcz they have twin beds go for upper category. Room service is very very good. They food is too tasty. We order dal takda on repeat mode. Now come to staff, I never seen such a cooperative and nice staff in any hotel. Likewise I don't eat onions they also prepared breakfast according to my choice. Moreover there staff is very helping. For food taste you can order without doubt. We just love the stay here. They have ample option in breakfast buffet also. I even posted a video about reviews of hotel in details on my channel @geetanshi.

The room and hotel was below average and not worth 4 star rating. Towels were not clean. I could see old stains in them. Luckily the beds were fine and didn't have bed bugs. AC took a long time to cool. The swimming pool had bugs in them and many of the tiles were broken. Pool towels were also not available. Roads around the hotel were in poor condition. They also charged an exorbitant amount (4 times!!) for taxi fare to the airport. All in all not a good experience.

Exploiting BAR personnel and Very Very Expensive. Service for a New Customer is extremely Poor and probably the Waiters are after the Regular Customers and Don't Care Others. If you are a New Customer, then Don't Select this BAR. Disappointing Evening..!! 😥

Had a meeting here and had the opportunity to taste their lunch buffet. A nicely presented value buffet by my opinion and food quality was very well kept

Decent hotel for short stay. Neat and clean rooms. Breakfast buffet spread is good. Toilets are little small and adding bath tub is such a toilet is discomforting for senior citizens. Also executive rooms have twin bed so suggested to take upper category for family.

Easily connected to temple, railway station and beach (a little far). Great rooms, tasty breakfast and dinner buffet with a lovely ambience in restaurant and very professional and polite staff. Staff also helped us with instructions on visiting the Sree Padmanabhaswamy temple on the day before and also enquired about our temple visit the next day. Nice to see this kind of concern about the guests from staff.

Part of the Sarovar chain. Location is very close to the Central Railway station - about 5 mins in an auto, in a poorly laid lane with row of different types of accomodations. Checkin was quick enough. It was unfortunate that i was given keys to another guest's room and i realised that as soon as I entered the room. Could have been major privacy issue especially considering the time I checked in. Not much staff to help with if you arrive at about 10 pm. Rooms were decent and comfortable. Cleaned and refreshed efficiently everyday. Stained sheets could be avoided by sarovar, thankfully not smelly. Most staff were courteous and polite especially the junior staff, something the seniors in coats can learn from. Room service was quick. Food at the restaurant was very good. Do try the local delicacies which were excellent. Hotel also arranges taxis and in our case arranged it efficiently in short notice. Good service!

Located in a secluded lane close to the prime M G Road and Thiruvananthapuram Central station locality, this hotel offers the best of both worlds, i.e. connectivity and tranquility. Padmanabhaswamy temple is close to the hotel. The rooms are exactly as shown in the hotel photos on various travel booking platforms and Google. The rooms are spacious, clean much like the washrooms. The service offered by the staff is prompt and the staff exhibit courteous behaviour at all times. I booked this property 3 months before I actually stayed there so got it at a great price as well. Only blemish being their restaurant offers limited menu especially if you are a vegetarian. But the dining options available in the vicinity make up for this. Recommended if on a visit to Thiruvananthapuram.

I have stayed in hotel classic sarovar portico, trivandrum from 11-12-22 to 12-12-22. The room was spacious, clean and neat bathroom and the bed was very comfortable. The staff in reception is gentle and very helpful. The hotel is about 3 kms to Padmanabha Swamy temple and easily approachable I wanted to have early morning darshan about 4 am and the security person accompanied me till the main road to catch an auto. It was a very good gesture from him. I recommend this hotel to all travellers.
