Really nice quiet relaxing atmosphere, we had a lovely view of the swans and park. Ordered a couple of toasties, nothing to heavy as we wanted to walk round the entire park. Food was spot on and the service was delightful. Only thing is that I didn’t really like the type of coffee that was used, although its probably me being fussy.

This is such a haven of tranquility situated next to the gorgeous boating/lily pond of Rouken Glen gifted to the people of Glasgow in 1906. The Boathouse serves great food and drinks to the pond walkers or dog walkers or just plain hungry. Everything served looked decent and the staff were all friendly and talkative. You can get an ice cream cone next door also. I forgot to tip on my card having no cash on my person. Ross said ‘don’t worry you can get us next time’. I certainly will Ross. Great wee place 👍

Brilliant little cafe in a scenic wee location. The food was served quickly and to a high standard. The toasties, breakfast, kids breakfast and Mac and Cheese were all delicious. Proper home cooked food and very fresh with lovely staff. Excellent coffee too.

I arrived on a sunny Saturday late afternoon with three ravenous boys and the team were able to quickly find us a table outside and whip up a delicious lunch for my kids and for me. Really attentive and friendly team with delicious food and ice creams for dessert.

We recently had a family get together at the duck pond Rouken Glen Park and decided to have lunch in The Boathouse. There were 7 of us in the party and though the place was really busy it was not long till they found a table for us. Right from the start the staff were more than helpful showing patience as we decided what we were having to eat. Having three kids in our party meant that this took a wee bit longer. The food and drink did not take long to be served up to us and we all enjoyed what we had on our plates. My photo does not do justice to the meal I had, as there is a space on the plate, but there was a bowl of chips on the side and both were first class. The macaroni is among the best I have tasted. Overall and excellent visit, will definitely be popping in on our next visit. 10 out of 10 to both food and staff.

We ordered take away food today while out on a walk. The chips were nice however I have tasted better macaroni cheese out of a tin. Absolutely no seasoning at all and from the taste of it, hardly any cheese. My 6 year old wouldn't eat it. £3.95 for a small portion served in a coffee cup. Not great. The condiments could also be doing with a revamp. Quite dirty. Also had to wait quite sometime and ring the bell several times before we were served.

Had a lovely lunch at the boathouse in rouken Glen today. Shared a club sandwich, it was plenty for 2 with a portion of chips. Excellent value too. Nice selection of cakes and scones too but we just couldn't manage one! Service was good too.

Having visited for the first time today, I cannot fault the service and surroundings. Impressed by the cleanliness which is usually the first thing I look at. As this was a client meeting, we only had drinks but as I only drink Earl Grey it's quite often hit or miss. One of the nicest Earl Greys I've had in a while. The service we received from Julie and Liesel was second to none. They went above and beyond. Julie was kind enough to seat us in a corner to offer maximum privacy for our meeting and took the time to chat before my client arrived. Cannot fault the staff and can't wait to go back again to try the food which all looked lovely from what I saw being served around me. Again, thank you for the warm welcome, and I'm so glad I now have a place to go which will allow me to support a small local business rather than large, impersonal franchises who write your name on a cardboard cup.

Beautiful cafe situated next to the pond. Lovely warm, cosy interior with lots of seating. Staff were lovely and hard working. Food and drinks delicious! Will be back on a sunnier day!
