Absolutely nothing to do. Very small park with limited benches and tables. Unless you are going for a hike there is no reason to be there and nothing to see

so i don’t know the history of what this symbolizes especially given the long history of a complex colonial relationship here.. but the monument is nice and settled in a perfect serene place by the water

I love how clear the water is here. Water is quite high at the moment.

Beautiful, peaceful place to go on a walk. Nice place to have a picnic. Great walking trail along the water.

Beautiful monument. I really liked the flowing, smooth lines of the structure, in such a contrast to the history of these places. The monument is located near the DeCew House Heritage Park and on the Bruce Trail. The parking was empty when we have visited but I can see it busy in the summer months.

A good stop point for hiking Bruce Trail. The park is nice and quiet. There is a free parking lot and it is good for ten cars.

πŸ‘ There’s a small- medium sized parking lot with free parking. Usually this place is not too busy. You can walk a short distance towards a boardwalk along the lake. There is a lookout on the boardwalk. The boardwalk leads to some short trails along the lake. This is a great place to go for a quick str...

😐 Not really worth stopping here unless you have questions. Its a tiny information center with a bunch of tourist pamphlets. The gentleman that was working there was extremely helpful and kind. Go to lock 3 with the museum and playground.
