BED BUGS .... NEED I SAY MORE ? WORST EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE! FILTHY ..... IT DOES NOT EVEN DESERVE ONE STAR (rating) - MANAGER REFUSED TO REFUND COST !!!! WORSE MOTEL/HOTEL EVER: Discovered bed bugs crawling on bed cover! Bathroom was filthy, tub dirty and toilet had not been cleaned. I could have handled the smell and filth, but when I saw the bed bugs crawling on bed, I immediately vacated the room. That night, I left room and sleep in my car. I spoke this nasty manager the next day; she first gave me the run-around, and then told me flatly she was not refunding me, and hung up on me (after speaking to her in person and numerous phone calls). In addition (if anyone is not yet convinced) TV was lousy, bathroom was filthy and gross. I would never recommend this place. It was by far the worse hotel/motel experience ever.

Bed bugs in the room mentioned it to the office a few times now and nothing has been done about it starting to become very upset now.my children including myself and im 6 months pregnant have bites on us,im scared to go to sleep.the room was dirty when we got there and i had to scrub it down and have went out and bought our own blankets because the blankets stunk to high heavens and theres junkies that walk around zombied out all day bumming cigarettes and rides from ppl.

Fat C U Next Tuesday Mrs.Donna behind the desk would not give us a refund after we told her how dirty the room was hope she chokes on a hotdog also she had pizza stains on her shirt

dirtest room i ever seen and been in my fiance and i woke up with bed bug bites. the people are there are very rude and trashy. its not worth $75 a nite. i under stand it by the water but for that price its need to be clean. and i WOuld NOT REQUEST ANYONE TO STAY THERE IN TOWN OR OUT OF TOWN PEOPLE.

Staff in office are rude and a bunch of drunks.. If u stay weekly they switch ur nice room for one that reaked of cat urine. They charged me for toilet paper after 2nd, small as it is roll. Not to mention clean towels and sheets once a week.. Change the staff and place would be great.

Please I don't want to rate this motel they charge to much money to stay in a room for a while with black mold hole in walls and off season the rate is still the same as summer rate outrageous

The couple running the place, stole things out of my hotel room when i would leave. The person staying in the room next to me, told me they saw them leaving my room with a black garbage bag full of stuff

Most disgusting horrid place to stay there was people with multiple keys to my room and crackheads milling around in front of my door my girlfriend felt very unsafe blinds were broken and there was bedbugs crawling under sheets not family or child friendly and the manager Donna is very rude and nasty and basically told me she scammed me out of my money and what I was gonna do about it.....do not stay here save yourself the headaches and bedbugs

Worst management I've ever seen everyone that stays there is dope and crack heads has been numerous over doses and the fat person whose the manager pockets "late fees"

The place is desgusting , the pictures on their website are deceiving they make it look nice , it doesn’t look like the room was ever cleaned and yes the staff was trashy , also beach front so they say that’s fifty and gross also

The staff is extremely rude and the room was disgusting. Their was a spider in the shower and dirty underwear in the bathroom. And their was hair all over the shower. Dont go there.

Room was dirty, there was plastic in the tub and a pair of dirty panties hanging off the shower. People at the front desk are extremely rude.

Room was dirty, garbage under the bed in the bathroom. The garbage wasn't changed before they rented us the room. I was afraid to shut the lights off at night who knows what would have came crawling out :( The people behind that I guess are living there were loud and scary was afraid to walk out to the car. This hotel is awesome! The rooms are very clean there aren't bed bugs I don't know why someone said that. The management is very friendly and there is a little private beach that customers can use it is so beautiful and you can enjoy the best sunrises each are different every morning! Sometimes they are beautiful pinks and purples and its right at the bottom of the seaside bridge so you can see the 🎡 at night and its sooooo convenient you can be in Seaside in 2 minutes or you can go to Toms River for shopping and any other things you need to do. The Parkway is 15 minutes away and its a straight drive with no hassle...I highly recommend this hotel especially for families who dont want to deal with the loud Seadide croud but would like to take their kids over to enjoy the fun of seaside but who want to come back to their hotel for a good nights sleep. Thanks Pier One I am really enjoying my stay and I can't say enough about how great this property is 🌞

WiFi sucks

The motel is at a great location and the price was good, BUT... So dirty i don’t think they clean at all since there was mold on the controller for the TV , mold on the wall and in the bathroom. Thankfully I travel with my own sheets and towels. The beds had stains on the sides of them of mold and god knows what else. I kept my shoes on the whole time and put their towels on the floor in case then did touch the floor. It has such great potential for this motel and all they have to do is CLEAN!!! Reading the reviews prior to coming helped so at least I had a heads up about how dirty it could possible be and it was. All I can say is if you stay here bring your own towels and sheets and some Lysol (which thankfully i had to) and some bleach to clean up. I wouldn’t shower in the motel either. We just used it for sleep. I hope they see these reviews and Clean.

We were looking to rent a jet ski and saw this place. As soon as we saw a “Let’s Go Brandon” flag flying we turned around and left. It’s very inappropriate for a business to fly political flags, especially ones degrading to our democracy and disrespectful to our country’s leadership. True patriots wouldn’t do such a thing.

The rooms are so disgusting, they never clean while your there, no toilet paper, no clean towels disgusting sheets and pillowcases. The lady in the office is rude yells at you, threaten to throw you out and keep your money all for no reason. If you ask her a question she flips out on you and threatens to throw you out and keeps your money. I bet she does this all the time throws people out for no reason and then pockets the money. She really needs to go. The most grossest hotel I’ve ever stayed at in my life I had no choice but to stay there. If I ever come to that point again in my life I’d rather sleep outside

I've been here a year. My experience has been pleasant. The lady in the office is a joy,n the resident manager very helpful. There is a restaurant on site. Great views of the bay.

Extremely nice staff they nice rooms. Had a nice experience there also was nice having a beach right next to room what a view. As well as docks to feed ducks. Can rent Jet skis. Was there in winter si didn't but definitely can be fun in the summer. For couples or family age appropriate of course. Chinese Restaurant in same lot & pub restaurant across the street quick check up the street so theres a lot close by if your not familiar with the area. Also has security surveillance around building running 24 hours a day for guests piece of mind knowing kayaks, Canoes or any other sports equipment is safe outside on cars or trailer. Beautiful views. Very homey feel in main office. Friendly caring family staff. Very nice place.

It's ok... good for a quick place to stay if needed. Room was clean. Neighbors not so much... had people coming in and out all hours of the night . People knocked so hard I thought they were at my door. Seemed like drug activity.

Staff is great being on the water brings a sense of peace. Rooms are clean and so are the grounds. I am truly grateful for everything that i here. Only drawback is the wi-fi does not cover the entire building its spotty. Being a techy they could use an extender or amplifier. These days most things run off the internet. Truly grateful for my stay here.. Thanks guys and god bless

Rating for Pier 1 Marina for Boating: I have been a member at the marina for 4 years. As a first time boater I appreciated the large boat slips and wide room for pulling in and out of the Marina. I felt confident my boat was safer there than other marinas during any bad storms. From what I heard, not one boat was lost during hurricane sandy. The marina is sheltered from the bay. I also felt safe there any crime. My fellow boaters next to me were great in helping out. I would recommend the marina for someone looking in the Toms River area. Donna, John, and Arpan are great.

People give this place a bad rap but it's not so bad and it's close to seaside.

A good place. Simple, convenient, straightforward. I had a room on the small bayside beach, but anyone can sit on the porch and enjoy the view.
