The only specialty coffee in North York at the moment and it still needs to work out some kinks. This little coffee shop sits above a a pet store, the decor is cute and sells a variety of beans from Canadian roasters, coffee equipment and also tea leaves. You can also find local makers for prints, soaps, shampoos and felted animals. Workshops are also offered for latte art and coffee tasting. Service was nice although making the coffee was slow. I ordered a Cortado and flat white, although they advertise latte art there wasn't any effort made in our drinks. Coffee wasn't that fragrant and tasted a little diluted. I'd only recommend buying beans here otherwise save your money and go to the other cafes in the city for a cup of coffee.

Amazing little coffee shop. It was hard to find it but so worth it. They have around 4-5 tables inside and a little balcony that is great for sunny days. They have nice deserts and baked goods, as well as ice cream. The barista was amazing helping us choose our coffee and preparing it very professionally. They have a great variety of coffee, beans and tools for coffee aficionados. Highly recommend for coffee lovers

Got coffees here with a friend and everything was great. Very interesting shop that not only serves coffee but also serves beers and has a lot of coffee related products for sale from beans to equipment. And of course the flat white I got was very delicious. Will be back for sure.

Tried the place out since I was in the area. Cute cafe on the second level. Has parking in front. Almost easy to miss if you haven't been there. Keep and eye out for the pink sign when driving on Yonge. Coffee beans used is from Monogram coffee, but there is many other selections to buy including Hatch and Rocanini Coffee Roasters from Vancouver. Had a flat white and it was smooth with a citrus note. Prompt service. Ambiance is a cute cafe with unique wall items and small two person tables with a patio outside overlooking Yonge Street. $4-$5. You will receive a discount if you bring your own cup. Overall would recommend if it's near you.

Another review of Another Land (spoiler alert: it's narnia!) First things first is that I would wholeheartedly recommend another land as a place that transcends a home-esque feeling and jumps directly to you wishing this shop WAS your home, with a welcoming cast of staff (there being 2 of them!!) That immediately made me (and my mom lol!!!) Feel ready to order and have a seat. Now let's get into the nitty gritty of the review, which would be the items I ordered 😀 (those being a Cofftail, a Lychee rose latte, and a Portuguese tart). Cofftail: Another land has an item called the Cofftail (that being a coffee+non-alcholic cocktail) with a variety of flavours those being "plain, lychee, yuzu" and today I will be focusing on the Yuzu flavour as that was the one I specifically ordered, The yuzu flavour consist of 3 things (an espresso shot "Duh!", Yuzu juice , sparkling water and then they sweeten it) and I found that the drink was a refreshing drink with hints of acidity and low levels of bitterness that reminded me of a specific album by "masayoshi takanaka" called "brasilian skies" with its distinct Japanese and Brazilian summer/beach esthetic(and yes am using this to recommend an album that no one listens too, get off my back lol), and how the flavours meld beautifully into a drink that brings comfort, refreshment, and caffeine with a crisp finish that I highly recommend!!! Rose lychee latte (my mother's drink of choice!!): My Mom told me that "I found that the drink has a minimal amount of sweetness allowing for the coffee, lychee, and rose to show themselves more while not overtaking the depth of the coffee" (As I am not the one who drank it, this is all I have 😅.) Portuguese Tart: And finally we have the Portuguese tart which I ordered for myself and I think it was an interesting take that I genuinely enjoyed, most Portuguese tarts that I have had were more on the sweet vanilla side, while this one was more salty with its buttered puff pastry and a custard that had a "currduly" (I don't think that's a word lol) texture of which I thought was an interesting departure from what I had before. A few last notes before I sign off: The shop has a variety of coffee beans, coffee equipment, and hand knit key chains made from yarn that I found were absolutely adorable 😄. All in all, "Another Land" is a soulful speciality coffee shop that has heart, colour, and love put into it (and most importantly, has a fried chicken shop underneath it 🤣!!!) That accentuates what I LOVE about a comfy cup of Joe, and I will surely be coming back soon!!!

Specialty coffee above a fried chicken shop hits different. Albeit questionable from the outside, once you pass the stairs, you’re greeted by a gentle and warm atmosphere, aesthetic and thought behind the arrangement. Barista was super nice and welcoming. As for the coffee, had an iced latte. The roast I believe was on the darker side, with more nutty flavours coming through. I enjoyed the coffee. Overall, quaint little spot that will not disappoint. Lovely

Very cute cafe with an adorable pastel pink interior. They sell specialty coffee, coffee beans, chocolate and even crotchet dolls. The latte I ordered was very rich and delicious.

One of the cutest coffee shops in Toronto! Great quality coffee, delicious treats, and excellent service. Hong helped us with our order and was so friendly and helpful. We will definitely visit again.

This quaint cafe sports some of the finest beans and brewing methods out there. Their hours have changed due to obvious reasons, but their coffee will not disappoint, nor will their exemplary customer service.

Super cute coffee shop. I love how the chairs and tables don't match but follow a beautiful muted colour theme. The barista behind the counter knows what he's talking about and he's always working as fast and efficiently as he can. The drinks he made were delicious and the croissants are pretty good too. I had a coffee to go the other day and it was perfect!

Had a fantastic time here. The barista Ben was very interested in sharing coffee knowledge and giving us a lot of options to choose from. I had a deliciously complex pour over coffee from a local Roastery in Markham. Great atmosphere, will definitely be returning. My picture is a latte from another visit.

We were happy that an independent own coffee shop opened up in the hood and more happy that the coffee Hong delivered is way better than Starbucks/Tim Hortons. We love medium roast espresso with fruity flavor, unlike those over roasted sh*t from those chains. We never get a chance to dine in. Hong and her staff were always very friendly when we get coffee to go. The best part is, we can bring our own cup :)

Adorable space. The first time I came here, the latte and croissant were great. It’s a quiet quirky space to do some reading or working. They were kind enough to replace my drink this time when the first didn’t suit me on the house ☺️ superb service.

Such a cute little cafe! It's a bit hard to find parking bit it's possible. They had drinks I've never heard of before - I tried the heavenly cream fog which is basically a London fog but with heavenly cream tea instead. It was so good, I recommend it for those who like floral notes in their tea. The staff were super friendly and they did a great job at explaining the menu to me. They did a great job in keeping the store clean and organized. They also helped the delivery person which was really kind of them (usually when I see deliveries, people just make the delivery person do all the heavy lifting). The cafe itself is very cute! They partner with different small businesses to sell things like coffee, decor bouquets, health and beauty things and more. I do wish their drink sizes were a bit bigger.

Osmantus Latte is great, except a little expensive(but that’s my problem😭) Service is also very friendly, though staff are very busy Atmosphere is also nice, many people study or work here, they have a balcony as well. But stairs is very narrow, not friendly to kids or elderly. Place is very small on the second floor as well. Overall nice experience, considering the price, may not come again🥲

I've been searching for a close-by shop that offers pour over coffee and this place is one of the few. I'm very new to the whole coffee scene, so I had questions and spoke to Hong (I believe she is the owner) I was able to learn a lot from her giving me tips and advices on brewing my own at home. It's definitely a hidden gem, and I highly recommend for all coffee goers to go here. They are also dog friendly and were able to sit down with my dog and enjoy my coffee today. Thank you for having us today. We will come back again soon!

The exterior is a bit rough but when you walk in you are transported to another land. Beautiful interior. Ben was incredibly knowledgeable and provided great recommendations. We got a pourover (very complex) and a tiramisu latte (delicious and easy drinking). Great selection of roasts.

If you're in the mood for a charming and unique little cafe experience, Another Land Coffee is definitely worth checking out! The decor is eye-catching and delightful, with an artistic style that sets it apart from your average coffee spot. However, I wasn't thrilled with the coffee itself. It seemed to be overextracted, resulting in a bitterness that detracted from the overall taste. That's something I typically expect from Starbucks coffee, but I was hoping for better from Another Land. Overall, it's a decent spot for coffee, but there are definitely better options out there in terms of the actual coffee.

Some of the most interesting and purist coffee I've ever had. The beans available for brew and method of preparation are curated very specifically. These are not your typical, mass roasted, diner coffees. This place for of people serious about their coffee. The flavor profiles, notes, and beans available are very unique. Every bag is sourced and labelled. They do also have Columbia bean drip coffee available for an easy and delicious choice. I had an experimental batch of Hatch beans prepared with pour-over. It was one of the smoothest coffees I've ever had. With very distinct and pronounced fruit notes, it was as smooth as a juice, with an earthiness that kept it tasting like coffee. Delicate and delicious medium-light roast. I will definitely be back to try more. Their selection of chocolates available are also specifically curated. 65-85% dark chocolate made cacao sourced from various countries. The only thing to note is their pour over coffee was on the expensive side, because of the beans I chose. Definitely a place worth visiting for coffee enthusiasts. Amazing service too.

Cute cafe with adorable decor and seating. Loved studying here, wish they had public wifi though. Really enjoyed the Oat milk Latte (lovely roast and great art) and lotus marshmallow cookie (not sure if that’s the name but it was massive and delicious)! Will definitely come here to chat with friends- has the perfect chill ambience for a small hangout. :))

The coffee tasted great here and the tiramisu croissant is my new favourite. Parking available up front and its right next to a subway entrance. Atmosphere is really great to get some work done and wifi is fast. Service was also amazing. The place does get busy around lunch with students in the area. Its on the second floor so you take a stairway up front to enter. Its a small place and furniture is a little outdated but besides that the colours and interior is so unique! Would come back!

It’s a cute little cafe on the second floor with friendly folks and services. We only tried the coffee as we were looking for coffee after lunch. It also offer pourover coffee as well. We tried flat white and yuzu cofftail Flat white - it has a great coffee taste to it. Not too bad! Yuzu cofftail - it’s a neat pretty drink but not cheap though. It’s iced coffee with sparkling water with some yuzu juice and with a hint of sweet. It has great yuzu flavour in it. It is a great drink overall but if u considering it as a coffee drink, I couldn’t taste or smell the coffee though. Maybe I should just get the one with only coffee and sparkling water if u want a similar drink with coffee taste. All and all, it’s a pleasant experience. It’s a 3.5 stars.

Cute and Cozy Cafe which is located on upstairs of the building. I like the decorations and the staff were friendly. Before I got there I tried to reach them by google chat and ask a question about alternative milks availability but they didn't reply by the time I got there ( by the way they have oatmilk).

I’ve never had latte art java before and I have to say I was impressed. The waiters were really nice and it was gave off millennial vibes. The coffee and the tea both slapped. This cafe has gotten me interested into trying coffee outside of Starbucks and Tim hortons. Only thing not allowing 5 stars is the slightly inflated price and the small size of the cafe as it could only host 3-4 parties.

The only local coffee shop in the neighborhood, cute and cozy, and also carries lots of local products! Hong is friendly and I love the assortment of drinks and different local bakeries she partners with!

New to the area and finding a good coffee shop was priority A1 on my list. A nice small coffee shop with a wide range of beans, drinks and baked goods, this was the perfect place for me to start frequenting. Friendly staff and good vibes, I am very happy with my find :)

I have been to this place several times. Atmosphere is amazing, it’s cozy and clean, and staff is super nice. They have several types of coffee with high quality beans, and they kindly explain the difference between grains. Pour over coffee is perfect and I highly recommend if you a coffee lover. Their croissants are delicious and pair very well with black coffee. They also sell the coffee beans for a reasonable price. I enjoy going there and I will go back!

The best coffee spot around North York area! The baristas are friendly and knowledgeable about their craft. It’s a best place to grab a great coffee on weekends!

Came here for the first time the other day, very cute and cozy aesthetic. The food and drinks were good, pretty average price for a café. Overall was a very pleasant experience and would come back. Only downsides are: music was a bit too loud, it was a bit hard to have a conversation without speaking too loudly. From an accessibility point of view, finding the entrance is a little difficult because it is on the second floor and there isn't a clear sign for the shop, just signs advertising drinks And it does not appear to be wheelchair or mobility aid accessible.

Decor is modern and exceptionally well. Croissants are fresh and crispy. Drinks are good too. Lots of different brands of coffee beans are available. They also sell other random items. This cafe is quite interesting.

Best serious coffee shop I've tried (so far) in North York. Good selection of coffees. The cappuccino I tried on my first visit was well made. The pour-over I tried on my second visit was delicately fruity, just as described. Good selection of pastries, beans and equipment. Tucked away on the second floor of a nondescript strip mall, Another Land Coffee is worth the time to seek out.

I loved the coffee and cake I experienced at this store, as well as the warm and inviting atmosphere. I highly recommend it! Without a doubt, this is the best cafe in the North York area. It's the perfect destination for a weekend of indulging in excellent coffee!
