First I've every heard of Glendon Forest and guess I don't get out enough or it's only well known to locals and dog walkers. Very nice area to walk or hike. Some bikes were seen it the area but be tough to navigate unless mountain bikes. Over all very nice and lots of scenic areas. It winds along a running creek that's not completely frozen over so you can hear the water all the way through.

Incredible scenery... walked through Sherwood past bayview then got to Glendon. They got mtn bike trails, we had to scoot to one side while some came through... still, very nice kids - got a pls and thanks as they whizzed by, point being that this side accommodates all types of activities. Trail itself is pretty casual, with kids in tow... they had an ez go of it... just mind loose gravel on some inclines. But gotta say, the views, some of which this local boy was quite surprised at. And.... it leads quite a lengthy path, connects, I think to wilket creek nearing Leslie and Sunnybrook athletic fields depending on your choice of routes or alternative paths. Much more for this guy to explore... but to close... go check it, family and or athletic types will enjoy. Heading back tomorrow to recon an ez 10k route to add to my select run optionsπŸ€™Cheers n enjoy

Glendon Forest is a nice easy trail. It has some good tree coverage and follows the nearby river. We'll worth a visit.

There is a trail in Glendon Forest that runs between York University Glendon Campus and Sunnybrook Park. It's a nice, quiet walk though muddy after rains You could start at public parking at Sunnybrook Park or Parking for Northwest Trailheads if you are driving in.

Glendon Forest is situated between York University Glendon Campus and Sunnybrook Park. There is a small trail connecting the campus and the park that takes roughly twenty minutes to traverse. The forest is calm and dense. The bridges and paths on the eastern side are currently closed but you can use the western side to move from north to south or the other way around.

If I didn't go to Glendon Forest once I'd never know there's something like this existed.

We discovered this trail last weekend. Beautiful trail and so close to the city centre. Connects to Sunnybrook park.
