I went in to The Happy Baker one Saturday afternoon not far off from closing time looking for my mom’s favourite birthday surprise… a coconut cream pie. Unfortunately they didn’t have any ready but the lovely girl at the cash asked the bakers for me and they agreed to make one for next day pickup. I grabbed it the next day on the way to my mother’s birthday BBQ and the service was so quick and easy! Although the customer service was out of this world amazing… you should hear me talk about the pie!!! I can’t even post a photo because we dug in too quickly! It was the best thing my entire family had ever tried. So many compliments, it was incredibly fresh and I really wish I could eat one every day. I had to write a review because if you like coconut you really need to grab one of these pies. Like… it’s life changing. I promise :)

This is the 3rd time for me ordering this pie. I can say this is the best pecan pie in Toronto. Perfect filling..it is thick, rich, dense but never runny. Taste is just the right amount of sweetness on the buttery crust. I’m so happy that I found this place.

The shortbread little scoop shapes look nice, but a little soft in the middle. Also didn't get much butter taste, may have some shortening. Everything else I had was outstanding, so decided on 5 stars. Scones are highly recommended (can buy bake your own), the cookies are monstrous and wonderful, and the pies look amazing. The coffee and service are also excellent. I will be back.

Today at the Lakeview Farmers Market in the Small Arms Inspection Building (Mississauga), I was introduced to The Happy Bakers as one of the market vendors. There was an array of baked goods: from banana bread loaves to chocolate coated marshmallows! I bought a blueberry scone, Portuguese tarts and 5 assorted cookies.

The best latte.... so fresh and quality product. Best one I've had even better than most of the café in Toronto. Servers are amazing and really cheerful. The location is awesome, with sun reaching in. The ambiance is so free and spacious. I had a biscotti with my coffee and loved each and every bite of it. Got some berry puffs to have at home 😇🥰. Parking is easy and very peaceful to sip coffee...... like being at a sanctuary with no stress or worries. Awesome place to relax. I went ahead after a long day at work, and it turned out to be so great. Was rejuvenated. Thanks, and I will definitely come back for more.

The scones and lemon bars are amazing, and their pies are a must for any special (or not so special) occasion. They even have dog biscuits that were a hit with our super picky pups. They have quickly become our family's favorite bakery.

Well, I thought I would give this bakery a try seeing the great reviews it has. However, I ordered 6 savoury pies, 3 beef and 3 chicken and mushroom. The beef pies had no sauce or gravy in the filling and the chunks of meat were way too big for a small pie. The crust was flaky alright and super dry. Now, the chicken pies were also dry, no gravy or sauce and the pies had 2 small slices of mushrooms with the chicken being very tough. Pastry was the same as the beef pies. I would not go back. I spent $66.00 on these pies and I do believe Swanson frozen pies tasted better. Waste of money.

Scones were fine — I would just say, check your receipts. Super awkward experience lol Came in to buy two scones. Called in advance to put them on hold. When I came in to buy, total came to $14 so I explicitly stated, “Oh, it’s $7 per scone?” The cashier replied, “Yeah, they’re quite dense.” I pay, ask for my receipt, leave, and when I looked at the receipt in my car, I got charged 4.50 for an iced coffee. Went back to the store and they gave me a cash refund but still, super awkward experience. Not sure I’d go back because of it, or would immediately ask for what I was being charged. Just FYI.

We got a delicious pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving and my whole family agreed about how balanced the flavour was. It was a present from a dear friend!

With the word fresh as the standard here, you'll never be disappointed with whichever one of the varied offerings in store. Though I am forever missing the raisin scones though!

I found the staff to be very friendly and approachable. My Rollie Pollie pastry which I haven't had since I was in high school was absolutely perfectly delicious, I so enjoyed it and our time there. I will be back for more delicious treats and coffee. Thank you!!

Delicious ..... everything! Scones are unreal, coffee is fantastic and the staff are so, so, so nice. This is independent business at it's best. Lots of pride and my favourite coffee shop in the entire city.

The best scones in the city. Hot tip: you can buy them frozen and just bake them in your oven and have fresh scones any day of the week!

I had an office full of happy people today thanks to the lovely staff at The Happy Bakers. They were very accommodating to my large scone order during a busy season and helpful in person when I came to pickup my order this afternoon. Everything was fresh out of the oven and amazing. Thanks so much!

I was looking for a bakery that does scones in the financial district to bring into the office for a birthday treat. With no luck, I decided to pick some up in the morning before taking the GO into downtown. What a hit, everyone is loving these scones so much. They are delicious. Perfectly baked, with such a wide variety of yummy flavors. The best scones I've had. I know they do amazing cookies from previous experiences but these will be my new go-to. Amazing service, very reasonable pricing and over a gem in South Etobicoke!!

Bought a pumpkin pie this afternoon. I called an hr ahead for pick up. Was given an undercooked pie and the filling slopped over the crust as I was walking home. I went back and they gave me another one that was set properly. I couldn't get the pie out of the tin because it was stuck to the bottom and yet the bottom crust is undercooked.

Great service, great food (love love looove the scones, made fresh), love that their hot cups are completely compostable, and the local art displayed is lovely. Very friendly experience, great vibes all around.

4.5 really but it's not their fault. Location is a part of a review for me and this is not in a picturesque area. The view is a busy street and a dolorama. Soo. Is what it is if you are going to have a coffee shop on this street. Food - I had a scone the first time I came in and was impressed! It's hard to get scones right 'cause they can always be too dry. This wasn't the case. It was the right amount of crispy on the outside and soft enough in the middle. Customer Service - Fantastic! The young Barista was polite, quick on their feet and explained things clearly and efficiently. Please tip the staff 20% here or more. They deserve it. Atmosphere - As beautiful as they can make it and well organized. They clearly care about the look and organization of the place and it shows. It's not too packed, you have beautiful displays of a wide variety of items...Perfect. Sound Level - Moderate. The music isn't blaring which is nice. Seating - Good for writing if it's not a packed day. There are five small person tables and one large four person round table by the window. WIFI - Speed was impressive. I couldn't get the actual numbers from a speedtest. But I was able to play 4K youtube video. Conclusion - If you're in the area, don't bother looking for a place with a better view. You won't find it. The street isn't Oakville. But they do on the inside what they can't control on the outside.

The happy baker always makes their customer happy with great food and service! Except this time … I’m always ok in a cafe if the staff just provides bare minimum service, I’m not picky with service, and I understand it’s not a restaurant, and I didn’t even sit down. In the past their staffs are always so warm and welcoming during my visit, and that’s why I love the place besides the amazing pastry! But when a staff is very condescending towards a customer with a different ethnicity background, it really makes me uncomfortable. With no greeting, no heat up service being offered as usually (all of their other staffs always offered ), when we close the transaction I said “thank you” as a habit, the staff look me in the eye with no response.….. please don’t spread the negative energy in our neighborhood, the Happy Bakery should always filled with love and happiness.

Such a lovely bakery in my neighborhood. They have a big variety of freshly baked scones, yummy cinnamon rolls and good coffee. There are also goodies from other local businesses and the dairy-free ice cream is amazing. A cherry on top, they offer complimentary dog cookies. My roommate’s pup absolutely loves the his treats there :)

👍👍 I tried this place at the recommendation of my friends, and I would love to visit it again.
