This store is a Canadian classic that always carries a large variety of nice and quality houseware items for an affordable price. They usually have a seasonal section in the front of the store where you can find many discounts and novelties. The store is very clean and organized, very well lit and ventilated. Shopping experience is very nice! Staff is friendly too.

Lots of stuff for the food and drink side of the home. A little confusing finding some stuff, probably because there's so much. Staff a little thin on the knowledge. More stock in.

I enjoy shopping for home and kitchen accessories and this is the perfect store to shop in. They also sell backyard accessories and outdoor furniture. The Cucina line is also sold here which is great for dish soaps and hand lotions that keep your skin soft but without harsh chemicals. You can also buy diffusers and candles here for very reasonable prices. Couldn't buy everything I wanted but I'll be going back soon!

I tend to stop by when I’m in the area, since it’s conveniently located in a series of surrounding plazas with other businesses. This location is perhaps the largest I’ve shopped at. During the pandemic, when I had to pick up my orders at the front entrance, the staff were quite dismissive and rude, but I’m happy to see improvements since then! I picked up some items as a gift for a couple, but also placed an online order, which arrived quickly. When I have to do a return, it’s easy and uncomplicated. It would be great though, if they offered the 20% discount online for loyal customers, instead of new ones.

I visit store on Sunday 19th November 2023 , it was a bad experience for the first time with me in your store . i have been purchasing for the last 18 years but never happened like this kind of customer service before .store located william Kitchen Road Scarborough. i was there around 2:31 pm. for return 1 item i was not satisfied but not used just open and bring it back open box with original packaging . your Clark 58109-EA auth by 56726-UR . an other your employer came besides counter, and she told me i have to pack back the item as i pick up . i said mam i bring everything with original packaging as mansion in your return policy and just open box so you can check everything is in packaging but she said you have to pack back . and her behavior was unacceptable, but i just said it's open box bcuz you can check . i work in many places and i never behave like this because we get training 10 customers behind 1 customer . some time customer wrong or their behavior not good, but we deal with them nicely, and after that, normally they say sorry because they were not happy for some reason. i noticed she was following when i was looking for other stuff in store. It's might be my misunderstanding, but i feel .i didn't ask her name or employer no its not my job .

Excellent customer service at this location!! I was looking for a certain product and one of the staff, I forgot to ask his name, found it for me quickly and showed me the product in a detailed way . Surprisingly, when I was leaving , he said have a good day to me while he wasn't assisting me to check out but still made a point to say that, that's what I called great customer service!! I will look for him next time when I shop there again!! Pleasant visit !! other staff were also very attentive!!👍👍👍

I've been shopping at this location for many years. I've been looking for a specific vegetable peeler but I could not find it. A few months ago I went in again and that vegetable peeler was no where to be found. While I was at the cashier she asked if that I found everything that I needed. I mentioned to her that I was looking for this particular vegetable peeler. I could not remember the brand but once she found out that I've been shopping at that store for years she said to me that there must be a record in the system. She looked for it ans found 2 purchases within the last 10 years. She asked one of her colleagues to find it in the store so I bought 2. I was sooo happy. Weird how sometimes little thungs can bring joy. Thank you!

5 stars for sales associates, 1 - for returns. Tried to return porcelain egg cups, because they appeared not suitable for chicken eggs, just too big. Obviously, I washed them at home prior first use, due to all the covid things around. Because of that return wasn’t accepted, so I just left the cups with the associates in the store, as I’m not able to use them

Dealt with 5 employees during my first visit. 4 of them were pleasant. Sadly 1 of the 5 was anything but. I can probably post her name but would rather not. Approx 45 YO age range. She will know this Review is her when she reads it. She was assisting me at the knife display kept behind the glass display. I asked to see the serrated bread knife and clearly pointed out it's location in the display. She understood the knife that was being sought after immediately. After she handed me the knife for inspection, out of nothing she tries to inform me that it isn't a serrated knife. Surprised by this I kindly asked if she could explain what exactly is a serrated knife. Without hesitation she proceeded to describe the precise characteristics of the knife she hand me at that very second. I couldn't help but have a wry smile at it all. Again, there was absolutely no confusion about the knife in question as she handed it to me without having to clarify and I had only asked to see THAT knife. Or it was a question of me misspeaking. Got the impression that this person is just confrontational for the sake of it and miserable in her personal life and takes it with her to work. Of course I could have taken the bait and engaged in her nonsense, drag out the conversation to as low as it could have went, got another employee involved for their input, etc, but I let it die right there and went about my business. Strange woman.

The most horrible staff!!! I would love to give them a zero.Today I went to Kitchen stuff Plus, Kennedy Commons location. This was THE WORST experience I've ever had at this store or any other store for that matter. I was returning Brentwood 3-in-1 can opener - ABSOLUTELY GARBAGE. Do NOT recommend it at all. Waste of money!!! So they asked me literally a million questions as to why I was returning the product.I said I wasn't happy because the way the can opener is designed is not functional. The cashier kept asking me if I used it or if I washed it. Absolutely ridiculous! I really felt like a criminal investigated and questioned by CIA. For sure, calling their customer service, emailing them, talking with the manager. They need to learn how to deal with customers.

They only keep online orders for in-store pick-up for 48 hours and don't care how busy you are, will put it back without calling you. Save time, order online and put these brick-and-mortar stores out of their misery!

This Kennedy Commons plaza location of Kitchen Stuff Plus is huge with lots of parking. I’m here browsing this store for the first time. There are plenty of kitchen products and ideas for the home. Prices are reasonable and I’ll be back with my Sweetie for a more thorough shopping experience.

While I have always enjoyed shopping at this store for its wide range of kitchen essentials, the incident involving the manager's discriminatory behavior has left a sour taste in my mouth. During a recent visit with a non-English speaking friend, we encountered a language barrier issue when he accidentally used the washroom which was closed. Understanding the situation, I approached the manager to explain the misunderstanding and apologize for any inconvenience caused. However, instead of displaying empathy or understanding, the lady manager (Joanna) responded in an unprofessional and rude manner. To my surprise, she made a derogatory comment stating that "Well this is Canada and you're supposed to know English." This response was not only offensive but also showcased a clear lack of cultural sensitivity and respect for diversity. It is disheartening to witness such behavior from someone in a managerial position who should be setting an example for their staff and customers. As a customer, I believe it is essential for businesses to foster an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome regardless of their language proficiency or cultural background. Unfortunately, this incident at Kitchen Stuff Plus demonstrated quite the opposite. While I understand that misunderstandings can occur in any situation, it is crucial for managers to handle such incidents with professionalism and respect. Instead, this particular manager chose to perpetuate stereotypes and discriminate against individuals who may not be fluent in English. I hope that Kitchen Stuff Plus takes this feedback seriously and addresses this issue promptly.
