Tam is able to make the unfixable- fixable! I was devastated when the arm of my expensive Dior Sunglass broke. I went to several places who said there is no way to fix them. I read the reviews for Tam Optical and I was impressed with the work he has been able to do. I sent him pictures of the damage and he quoted a price. I brought them in a few days later and he used a micro welding machine on them and they are now fixed! He also adjusted them so they sit perfectly on my face. Thank you Tam!

I came here to get nose pads/arms added to frames that I bought online that kept sliding down my nose. They were also too tight and not the best fit. So glad for Google to have found this place. I really love my frames and the metal rim snapped on me. I thought they were not salvageable. Then I googled DIY methods and knew I couldn’t fix them myself but then I came across this Google result and was so happy to have found it!! He was ready to have it fixed in 1.5 hours (but I was busy so picked them up the next day)! And when I picked them up, they looked like they were never broken! He also took the time to make sure my glasses fit properly on my face before letting me leave. I would totally recommend this place for your eyeglass repair needs :). Absolutely amazing repair. Very professional, great communication and very fast!! I needed an arm pad repair and he replaced both pads in a gold colour to match my glasses and they looked AMAZING! I broke off the arm of my Silhouette frameless glasses. Called all over town for an emergency repair. Tam was the only one who communicated directly with me. He’s a specialist for Silhouette repairs. Tam did an amazing job fixing my sunglasses that were once squashed, and he did it for a great price and literally fixed it in under 10-15 minutes and cleaned my glasses also, they feel even better on my face compared to when I bought them they feel like they will never fall off or be loose. This place was fantastic, the optician was insanely helpful and efficient. I broke my glasses this morning and had it repaired within the hour, he also helped me adjust the frames so it would be more comfortable moving forward and performed the ultrasonic cleaning so they would be easier to clean in the future. I will be going here for all my glasses needs from now on.

This is the best place to repair glasses from my experience. I got my glasses fixed in this store and is very satisfied. I bought the glasses 30 years ago and it is the only one that I feel comfortable with. Since the difference between my two eyesight is nearly 400 degree and I am not comfortable to any new lenses. The lenses of my glasses are very fragile and the frame is uniquely design that could not be replaced. Now the glasses got fixed and I am wearing the glasses happily all the time.

Had a severe emergency. My husband broke his glasses the day before leaving on a trip to Europe. Checked emergency eye-glass repair stores, found Tam's, contacted him at 10pm, got an immediate reply and we were in his store this morning at 11am. Tam fixed the problem right away and corrected the glasses to fit properly. All this for a very reasonable price. A fit of a distance from where we live, but we will definitely go see Tam in the future for all our eye glass needs.

Tam has done a wonderful job with repairing my glasses, and for an affordable price as well. He has also fitted my glasses to my face at no extra cost with the repair as I had some issues before with regards to its fit to my face, but I could not pinpoint exactly why that was until he noticed the problem. Tam fixed my glasses in less than 30 minutes for a same day appointment and at a very reasonable price. Tam is really an expert optician. He repaired my broken eyeglass tantanium frame with such precision that the break point is hardly noticeable. Recently, I ordered my first ever pair of plastic lens and despite the high prescription(so high that I can only wear glass lens). Tam made the lens look slim and smart! Like many other reviewers, I came to Tam Optical after other stores told me my 2 frames (a plastic one and a metal one) could not be repaired. Tam fixed both of them perfectly. I do not know if there is any other optician in GTA who is able to do this sort of repairs. If you have a broken frame that's a personal value, give Tam a try. Beside having some pretty unique skills, Tam is super nice and friendly. He noticed that I was a bit uncomfortable with my new progressive lenses. Truly a gem of a man , I accidentally sat on my eyeglasses while on business in Toronto. I had a meeting in Niagara Falls area in the afternoon . This man on short notice, same day fixed my glasses and made them brand new for such a reasonable price. MANY many thank yous could not suffice ! PS. I made my meeting the same day driving , so my glasses were imperative for the journey.

A fantastic eyeglass repair experience. The hinge on my rimless glasses suddenly snapped (probably from metal fatigue due to age). I brought them in to Tam who did an amazing job of soldering them so that you can barely tell where the break was. He also cleaned and adjusted the frames so that they again provide a comfortable snug fit as when they were new. The service was friendly, informative, fast (about an hour) and skilled. I highly recommend Tam for eyeglass repairs. He also has an extensive collection of frames for new eyeglasses with the ability to custom shape lenses when fitting rimless frames. Something I'll explore in the future.
