Today we reserved for outdoor dining and unfortunately it started raining. The owner was so kind and compassionate. He accommodated me and my family. The host was also very pleasant. We ended up taking the food to go and it was a hit!! My 3 children loved it. Although it wasnt the experience we were hoping for with outdoor dining, the food and staff was definitely worth 5 stars.

It’s been a while since I visited sushi lounge & the atmosphere hadn’t changed much! Great & creative drinks. Fresh sushi & great assortment of foods that were not sushi related ! Great staff! Very attentive & kind. Outdoor seating is available, recommend calling ahead to reserve a table !!!

Everything was perfect. Boujee atmosphere, people were so nice (shoutout Zach C our server), and the food was the best sushi me and my girl have ever had. Would recommend to anyone looking for a more sophisticated sushi experience.

This is my second visit to sushi lounge for Happy Hour. I enjoyed a lot of the rolls and appetizers. Unfortunately their menu is more limited than usual because they're in the process of changing over to a new regular menu, but they have not updated the happy hour menu. Several items on the Happy Hour menu are no longer available because they're not on the main menu anymore. My big issue and why I gave them 3 stars is because of the bartending. Every drink is so sweet! Even drinks that should not be sweet are sweet. We did have excellent service on both occasions and enjoyed being able to sit outside. Very nice courtyard. Could be five star if they just fixed Happy Hour menu and the bartending. Food is excellent.

You are basically paying for the atmosphere more than anything else. The service was very attentive. Food itself was good enough. Just not my scene. Too much like eating at a dance club

We go here ALL the time and we LOVE this place. EVERYONE that works here is GREAT! I don't know how they do it but we absolutely love all the staff. Food is always good. Kids love it too. They have a really nice outside patio. No complaints!

What a great sushi place! Sushi is excellent! And there are plenty of choices for your non-sushi diners! And the drink menu is outstanding! Very enjoyable! It can become like a nightclub atmosphere the later it gets to be, so if you want a quiet diner , go early! Our waiter was really attentive and our food allergies accommodated!

Trendy spot with decent creative sushi and happy hour specials. Turns into a bit of a club as the evening goes on. Kids enjoyed the fun atmosphere and feeling like they are at a "grown up" place. Full bar - could use a bit more sake variety but servicable and the happy hour price is right! Friendly service.

Such a great experience! Our waitress was so friendly and attentive. Food was delicious and perfectly priced. Can't believe I've driven past here for so long and never stopped in. Highly rec. Drinks were also well made. Lovely atmosphere.

Great ambiance people were very nice and it's very rare to have the owner come around and greet the customers and have a conversation with them. Joe the owner was very welcoming I give him a lot of credit as well as Susan who was our waitress. She took care of all our needs and went above and beyond to take care of any issues we had. Very happy we went there tonight and we'll definitely go back again and recommend the sushi lounge to anyone that wants to have a great time.

Went on a Wednesday night, which is ladies Night. Everything we ate was delicious, the drinks were amazing and they had a DJ in the back. Needless to say we danced the night away! Highly recommend!

Went here for a nice night out with my family. Service was horrible from the very beginning. The staff completely ignored me multiple times when I politely asked for menus, and had attitude when serving my table. Drinks were watered down and disgusting, definitely below my standards. The staff then proceeded to rudely force us out of the restaurant because there was a reservation for our table. If a girl with dark curly hair and tattoos serves you, be prepared for a horrible dinner. I have been here multiple times in the past and over the years, the service progressively got worse and worse. Bring back the old Sushi Lounge! Overall horrible, would not recommend to anybody. I would give 0 stars if I could. If you would like to be treated with respect, come down to SEAR House Grill, down the street in Little Falls. After I was kicked out of the Sushi Lounge, I came down here and the service was amazing. Absolutely exceeded my expectations. Happy Hour is amazing and the drinks are much better. Staff is much more pleasant. Come on down to SEAR to get the service you pay for!

Is there an option greater than 5 stars?! This is the best dining experience I’ve had in I don’t even know how long!! The food: INCREDIBLE. We started with the Rock Shrimp which was so good we nearly finished it before I remembered to take a picture! My husband got the filet mignon hibachi which he said was great. The sushi is SO GOOD, the Kani roll was so simple but literally the best sushi I have ever tasted. We ended with the tempura ice cream which was the absolute highlight. The dipping sauces were such an amazing and unique touch. My husband isn’t a dessert person and raved about it! The atmosphere: SO nice. It’s the perfect experience for a full night out. It has great ambiance and they don’t rush you at all. The drinks: I tried a few different cocktails. I was surprised by what I liked, I loved the 235 lemonade and white cosmo. I actually was not a fan of the mango sutra, which I know is popular and I expected to like, but it tasted a little medicine like. I’d recommend skipping this one, but the other drinks were great!! They refilled us frequently and had TONS of drink options. The service was also wonderful! Our waitress was so friendly and everything moved at a great pace. Overall, I could not recommend this place enough! Perfect for a date night or special occasion.

Best sushi in the area!!! I am a frequent customer. Try the tuna tartare tower, octopus, pepper crusted tuna, super kani roll, spicy citrus roll, and sea bass roll. All amazing! Jennifer was an extremely nice and attentive waitress.

Good place for Sushi in Jersey. My personal favorite is their crispy rice tuna appetizer. A bit on the pricy side. They need to stop the ground salmon and tuna. Not at that price please. They lose a star for that. The place does have DJ nights, those are fairly busy. Don’t expect to get you food fast.

Went today for lunch. They would not work around food allergies and service was awful. There were 5 people at the bar and 9 people eating at various tables. The sushi was slightly above average. Service was terrible. No checking in on my wife and I. The locations in Morristown and Hoboken are far superior to this one. Living in the area, I was happy to try it. Never again. When asked about making spicy tuna for me without mayonnaise I was told it’s premade and nothing they would do to help me.

The atmosphere is great and the service is excellent. Shoutout to our server Zach who was super sweet. My only complaint is that occasionally the food isn't consistent. Last night I got the short rib bao buns and they were almost inedible because if how dry and tough the meat was. Everything else my group ate that night was delicious; wagu burger, chicken hibachi, rock shrimp, veggie gyoza and a few specialty rolls.

Had dinner last night, party of 18 and had a great time! The food was delicious, the sushi was so fresh!! Our waitress was super sweet and accommodating. First time at this place and will definitely come back!
