Incredible - a cosy, hole-in-the-wall McDonald's on a peaceful square in Old Tours. Most McDonald's are factory-like, large, impersonal and very busy. This one fits perfect in with the tiny streets and mom-and-pop merchants in Old Tours. It is tiny but has an outdoor terrace. Place is spotless, service is smiling and very professional. The price can't be beat and you can order in multiple languages on the large touch-screens and have the food served at your table.

I still don't understand how this place is so popular in France. Never eat there in the U.S., but my French friends all seem to want to go here. The food is pretty good quality for McDonald's and it is VERY nice inside for a McDo as well. Rank 5 star in comparison to other McDonald's and it is hard to beat them fries, but I prefer Burger King between the two. Go to Upper Burger if you want a real burger though

The food was nice, what you would expect from any McDonald's. However, when I ordered myself a large Coke, they gave me iced tea instead and refused to refund

I always like a McD when there's a need for a sandwich. This restaurant is close to the University of Tours, so don't visit at lunchtime, it's horrendously busy, I don't know how the restaurant copes with the volume. However it does and it's in a nice area of town. Give it a visit if you need that sandwich.

They cue orders on counter in front of customers that are paying for their meals. Children are seen putting their hands on and in the food, taking food from the cue not belonging to them. Staff was not able to control the chaos.

Service was good

Fairly small McDonalds. But in a great location. We enjoyed a tasty breakfast there. The person cooking it and serving it was very nice and helpful.

When travelling I always like to pop into a McDs to experience the local flavours and versions of the McDonald’s classics. It was refreshing to taste the France version of a double cheeseburger and Fries which according to local delicacy must be seriously over priced, take 3 tries to place the order via the self-checkout only be to directed to the counter, and the fries be ice cold. Overall I cant complain as I assume this is just how the locals like it? If you’re into it, this is a must try. For me, no regrets but I won’t be back. At least not until my 15th beer hits in this evening. Something about cold fries high costs and inefficiency that simply matters less when I’m craving the comfort of a warm hug from Ronald’s arms.
