There is a little parking lot but only couple spots and they’re usually taken. But found a spot outside fairly quickly. There are no reservations. So we came as a party of 3 and inside wait time was 2 hours. To sit outside was 1 hour but there are a ton of mosquitoes outside. Was a nice day so we sat outside. The service was amazing the server had knowledge about the menu and was very personable. She gave really good recommendations and the portions were a good amount. I loved the mussels they had so much flavor. Pasta and sauce was very flavorful. This place was highly recommended and I can see why. I would definitely be back

A lovely night out at an italian restaurant with a wide array of dazzling dishes with fresh pasta and food. I enjoyed sitting outside and enjoying a little bit of a quieter side of Stamford, removed from the city center. There is a little parking lot behind the restaurant with some spots beside it but they fill up quickly. For those concerned about not getting a space - no worries, there is a lot nearby for a shopping center. There was a nice selection of bread and beans available before our meal along with olive oil to dip it in. Seemed like an appetizer unto itself and was quite satisfying. Had a selection of appetizers that included meatballs and calamari. The meatballs were incredibly rich and tender. The calamari was perfectly fried with the perfect blend of spice for the marinara. My main was scallops in black squid ink linguine with a basil marinara sauce. It was perfectly cooked and delightful. The tartufo at the end was decadent but not too big that it felt overly filling. Overall a brilliant experience and I'll be back again!

We came here for our date night. All dishes were really good. I loved my tiramisu and cupcake moscato.

We arrived without reservations and had about a 20 minutes wait which was not a problem. Had a glad of wine while waiting in a very small crowded waiting area. The restaurant was densely packed but orderly. The thing I love about this place is, if it's not on the menu they more than likely could make it for you. Outstanding quality of food and service.

We had heard about this place for a while and decided to give it a try. We got there early (4:35pm) thinking we would get a good chance at a table when they opened at 5pm. There was already a line outside. Around 4:45pm, the doors opened, and we got one of the first tables. Everyone from when we walked in was warm and welcoming, and the service was beyond our expectations. Hint..order your wine by the glass, because they are very generous with their pours. Everything we had was delicious from the octopus, short rib lasagna, fettucine with mascarpone, and tiramasu. Highly recommend it.. we will definitely be back!

I cannot say enough about what a wonderful experience I had at Cafe Silvium. The owner was out on the floor greeting guests when I arrived, the entire staff was friendly and helpful, the food was terrific, and the value was incredible. I felt like I had stepped back in time to my childhood visiting restaurants with my grandparents, it was a very special feeling that has become too rare these days. If you are in Fairfield County, you must visit Cafe Silvium.

Been eating here for a few years now. Get here early because when they open at 5 all the tables will be gone. They will not seat you unless your party is all there. On to the food, exceptional. The dish that I get every single time is Rigatoni Gnack Gnack. Their ricotta cheesecake is a must as well.

We went for the first time on a Friday at 5. There were a good amount of people but the food was great! Service was attentive initially, but I think it got a little busy for our waiter because we had to get his attention a couple times when we were waiting. We didn’t mind and he was wonderful other than that! We loved it and look forward to going back again!

Absolutely the best Italian restaurant!!! Go check it out, you won’t regret. Please note they don’t take reservations on Fridays and Saturdays, so try to go during off peak hours, otherwise the wait can be long (but it’s so worth it!)

What a place! Some of the best Italian we’ve ever had. Only problem is it’s so hard to get into. We gave it a shot and arrived before 6:00 and were seated within an hour. Salads, apps, pastas and entrees were all first rate. Service was a bit harried (but efficient) as they are packed. Beer and wine only, and the wine is pretty limited. But the food is incredible. They do have reservations during the week and for parties of 6 or more on Friday and Saturday.

This was amazing, I had their Lobster Ravioli which tasted amazing, the sauce was really good, and the pasta is made in house.

Wonderful, authentic Italian food in a homey atmosphere. Good service. Does not take reservations so be prepared to wait for a table during popular times.

My husband and I went to Cafe Silvium for our anniversary last week and Cafe Silvium made it truly special! Not only was the food excellent but the service was truly top notch! I ordered the Lobster Ravioli - the pasta was the best I've tasted in a long time. We will definitely be coming here again!

This gem of a restaurant is exceptional. The truly authentic Italian dishes such as wild boar, rabbit or veal with fresh pastas and so many other wonderful dishes make for an inspirational menu. This favorite restaurant of ours for many years is not the ordinary ho hum of typical Italian restaurants in Fairfield County. The standards have not dropped one bit since covid and they are also not out to overcharge their clientele. Service is always terrific with many longtime staff members and there is always a waiting line to dine, always a good sign.

My girlfriend got a gift card for this place so we figured we'd check out. We were delighted. From the apps to dessert, the experience was sublime. Our server was quite friendly and professional. The seafood specials were outstanding, with very authentic takes on Italian cuisine. My only complaint would be that the wine list was a bit small. My girlfriend would add that the parking expetrience was unpleasant. But overall an excellent eatery.

I wish there were more than 5 stars for this place. Favorite restaurant ever. The wine pours are exceptional and the food is out of this world. They do off menu items like chicken parm as well. The wait staff and owners are so friendly and treat everyone like family. Best place ever.

Super place. You have to go early or you will wait. Sunny room in the front. Great Italian menu, something for everyone. Very reasonable prices. Great service, food is expedited to tables quickly and arrives HOT! Yummy desserts too. This place is popular and very busy. I highly recommend this local favorite.

Wow wow wow! I’ve been here twice now and it has been consistently wonderful. The food, fantastic. The service, some of the nicest people you’ll meet. Complimentary limoncello. You will leave happy and full.

Awesome! Great food & wonderful service. Just one of those perfect little restaurants where you would change nothing. Celebrated our wedding anniversary here over lunch today & didn’t want to leave. The husband loved his rich- luscious lasagna& I was amazed by my seafood over pasta- made spicy - just the way I like it. Our waiter was attentive - helpful - knowledgeable & just a lot of fun. Definitely recommend geting the espresso - which is roasted around the corner & the lemon pie. This was our first time here & we are already planning our next visit!

Best restaurant in Stamford! It’s tucked away from the city center, and they don’t take reservations for small parties, but it was absolutely worth the wait. The chicken mascarpone was divine, and the tiramisu was some of the best we’ve had. Only thing, wouldn’t do the calamari again - wasn’t really fresh. Service was excellent and prices are beyond reasonable, we’ll be back!

The wait was not short but the food was worth it, and honestly they bring you drinks while you wait which makes you more hungry and ready to eat!! We started with the New Zealand clam appetizer which was delicious. The clams are so small but flavorful! I ordered the classic fettuccini mascarpone. The waiter exclaimed this was the best pasta on the menu and I think… he was right. When I tell you I savored each bite… oh man. It was so good. We ordered some desserts and they were delicious but the star was the pasta. What did they put in it!!!!!! How do I get this at home!!!!!!

A great little old school Italian with an extensive menu. They are happy to accommodate with alterations for dietary restrictions or preferences, and the staff is super friendly. We’re so happy to have discovered this spot in Stamford

Everything was truly remarkable. The authenticity of the food was evident just by observing the dishes. Every choice was a winner, with a selection of 3 appetizers where the scallop and broccolini stole the show, followed by 3 entrées featuring the perfectly executed lamb shank and delectable pumpkin ravioli. To conclude, we savored three delightful desserts: the chocolate lava cake, tarfuto, and tiramisu. Combining these three treats created an exceptional and memorable experience.
