Excellent food and services. I've found this restaurant as a huge surprise in Tulcea city. Close to Danube river, with a nice design, simple and traditional, the restaurant offers to them guests some fish dishes and seafood together with traditional food, romanian, turkish and macedonian as well. I was delighted to eat a delicious Imam baiyaldi (turkish specialities with eggplant), fish soup, mussels and piperki (macedonian specialities). Spicy stew has been tasteful as well. I should tell you that i was impressed about very nice plating. A very good choise in this small town with Danube view. Well done! Thank you for the meal!

We only dropped into La Liman for a drink and snack, but it was so relaxed we had a couple of drinks! :-) The menu draws on the multi-cultural culinary offerings of the Tulcea community and epitomises the fun, positive spirit we've encountered all across Romania. It deserves to do well. If you only have one thing at La Liman, have the hummus and tomato. Ask for extra bread!

Extremely nice and authentic decor. The food is very tasty and the service is very fast. Nice view towards the Danube. The evening live shows are the talk of the town.

First time at La Liman where I had a positive experience. Then I went again the next days along with my group of friends. I appreciated the clean design and tasteful pastel colours. The food is good, nothing out of the ordinary, but rest assured of the good quality. It was served really quickly, even if we have ordered more than 7-8 plates. The senior personnel knows customer service, but however the newbies can have a hard time remembering the order. I didn't appreciate the lack of flexibily: breakfast served until 12:00, asked for breakfast at 12:09 and the waitress didn't even asked the cook if it was possible, since they breakfast means fried eggs and they serve a fried egg in other dishes whatsoever.

The place looks very nice and clean, but the food is far from what you expect when you go to a place where fish is easy accesible, fresh. I ordered grill fish and I received a boiled fish which was after that grilled. No taste at all, of course. The staff is friendly though.

We only drunk a cappuccino but it was a good one, not tastless. The design is very nice for a tulcea restaurant. Too bad that the view is blocked by the shipyard. LE: we returned from some desserts - the Dobrogean pie with vanilla sauce was delicious

We went there twice. The food was good and fresh. We had different kinds of fish. The portions are big and compared to the prices, I can say that it is quite cheap. The first time we went there we ate some fish and desserts, the second time we ate fish borș and ciorbă, fish meatballs and beef tongue with olives. We payed around 100 lei/around 22€ everytime for two people. I must say that the beef tongue wasn't only that, it also had 3 slices of beef meat but it was good nonetheless. The toilet was clean. The design of the restaurant is really nice.

I would highly recommend when in Tulcea to dine in this place! Service was very professional and extremely fast! In 30 minutes we ordered and received our food! Food was very tasty. Everything was clean.

We enjoyed the food, but the waiter was prioritizing other table that was bigger, even though we arrived before them. We appreciate that he announced us that they have a bigger table to handle, but I also think it was unfair to us. We had less food to prepare and arrived first, I don't see the reason the we were served the last.

Good restaurant. Went on a Sunday night for dinner. Friendly staff, helpful. They didn't have all items on the menu available (that extends to wine) but overall a nice experience. Food was good. Would return if in Tulcea.

Unfortunately all restaurant service in Romania is very poor , food quality is low , and this restaurant is not exceptional . I’ve ordered salad with cheese dor blue and fresh tomatoes , and they bring me totally different salad , and sad that menu has changed and salad what I’ve ordered now looks different. it’s insane…

Very disappointing experience, very low quality of food compared with the prices, and bad service, I had to chase the waiters for lemon, bread, etc. This dish came with cold fries, a strange yellow stains on the bottom..at list the fish was ok.

The best food I had in Tulcea. Cosy place, nice staff, variable offer (also for vegans and vegetarians), great view and wonderful atmosphere. The prices are ok concerning the quality :-)

We just had a drink here because we had to catch the boat to Sulina but we will return to Tulcea and have a meal at this place. It has a very Mediterranean look and the inside is nicely built. What caught my attention was their sinks which were looking like two buckets. I had a Birra Moretti at 0.5L which costs 10 ron and the other people had a Frappe and a Flavoured Frappe. This place worths paying a visit.

Nice decorated interior, that reminds you of local traditional houses from Dobrogea region. The food was great, I loved everything. Beware! If you take the fish soup of the day, the chances are that you will not be able to finish also the 2nd course. First ask if the fish pieces are served separately from the actual soup, because if this is true, the portion will be huge 😊. The restaurant it's not a very cheap one, but considering the variety of fish traditional courses, it's worth every penny.

We spent 2 hours at La Liman. It took them 30 minutes to take our order, and then 2 hours later out food was still not there. This is after they told us the Paella would take 40 min. It had been more than 90 minutes and none of the food had arrived. We had to leave hungry. I've never had such a terrible restaurant experience.

We went there only for coffee, tea, and dessert. And it was bad. The teacups were dirty, the cake had a parsley leaf on it. The cappuccino was so small and it tasted like is made form instant coffee. We had “placinta dobrogeana” and “tort ecler”. Both were old, and tasteless. Totally not recommended for their desserts. The designs of the restaurant is pretty and the location is great. The service was ok.

Very bad experiece, went in to have lunch with two hours to sparein a busy day, waiters were slow, food was so slow that we had to cancel our order. The waiter took 30 to take our order and just then informed us about the food waiting time. Even then, the way we were informed about this they were not professional. Overall, if you have just a few hours to spare, i would NOT reccomend this place. High expectation, high dissapointment

The worst restaurant experience I ever had❗️ Firstly, the service at this restaurant is terrible. I don’t know if this applies to the entire staff or just the waiter that got to serve us. Or better said, not serve us. We got completely ignored for over half an hour and I had to stand up twice to go and ask for the menu. Finally, this very unfriendly young lady came to bring us a menu card and it took her other 20 min to return and take the order. There was no chance to get her attention any other way than standing up and chasing her in the restaurant. She would walk around with a very serious face, taking care of certain tables and avoiding eye contact with everyone else. We‘ve been waiting for two hours with nothing on our table until our order finally arrived. The food was a disappointment as well. The chicken soup was 3/4 nuddles. Although we ordered two portions of the same fish (carp) we received completely different fish and she forgot about the garlic sauce. The chocolate souffle had nothing to do with chocolate. The prices are too high for the food quality you get. Finally, I asked her twice for the bill, she said yes I‘m gonna bring it, but then left and did other things. I was so angry at this point and once more I had to chase her in the restaurant to be able to pay. I was so close to leaving this place without spending a penny. But instead I paid while standing in the middle of the restaurant a ridiculous amount for the most ridiculous experience. I wish I could leave -5 stars. Don’t waste your money and time at this place.

Lots of staff, but only one person speaks English. “How long will it take to prepare the order?” "2 minutes". We waited 12 minutes and almost missed the bus! They gave the order with us: no disposable cutlery, no napkins, no placinda, which we paid for (!). And how is eat? I don't recommend this cafe to anyone!
