TRULY a 5 star hotel. The pool is humungous !! The animation team provide water gymnastics. The DJ even took our music requests. Their food is spectacular. There is a menu to order food from the pool-side and a separate buffet. The buffet had too many good food I couldn’t choose. There were sushi, noodles, pasta, cake and so much more. The lobby is also comfortable. They sell ice-cream too. Very delightful stay.

This is not a five star hotel , it is a solid four star. I put 2/5 for the room because they could not found a room with a separate bed for me and my coworker so we were obliged to sleep in the same bed which is highly very inconfortable for me. The location for me is bad because around the hotel is just bars and disco clubs that produce noise that can be heard in the rooms affecting the sleep quality. The service 4/5 because the workers are professional and kind. Also the food is clean and healthy.

If you want to party into your room until 4am this hotel is for you. I prefer to sleep at night and I had a poor experience : two night without sleep. Nice food and great lobby. Not for holidays and rest. Try el mouradi for conferences congress or meetings

It is no longer a child friendly hotel. Your kids will have a hard time sleeping due to the extreme noise from the night/beach clubs until very deep into the night. The rooms have very poor sound insulation. But also around the pool area, it is either no music, or extremely loud music. Sometimes it starts already in the morning... but guaranteed .. after 3-4pm it is done with the peace. Families should better stay away. Good hotel only for people who want to drink and party all night in the night clubs.

One of the worst stays we had. People at the buffet were animals! Shoving, pushing and playing around with food. We assisted at 2 fights near the cafeteria !! The number of kids is incredible. No respect in the pool. People dive over your head and shout right next to your ears. Room had a broken toilet and stained sheets. A/C didn’t work half the time and music played until 4 am ! Please save yourself some time and money. DO NOT COME HERE FOR YOUR STAY .

It is very old local hotel. Their standard rooms are not well maintained. Superior rooms are somehow okay compared to other international hotels standard. Recommended to view the rooms personally before making any bookings. The online pictures presented on their websites might be misleading. Although I had rated the hotel location with 3 stars, there are not much of activities you can do on the walking distance. You will need to drive to nearby attractions and walking destinations All in all, don't see this hotel as a destination for those who are used to 4 or 5 star hotels with international standards.

Beautiful hotel with a fantastic pool, many many rooms with a very good selection about breakfast and dinner. Unfortunately we stay two different night and on one of the two we where in front of the disco. There are double windows in place but the music however arrive into the room. You can hear it into the video, so it was a Saturday night fever ! Friendly suggestion: check the room location before the room booking !! ;))

Way far from the 5 stars they claim to be. Rooms are old, some AC work and some don’t, the mini fridge was broken and the shelves strangely greasy. The noise from the nearby disco was noticeable but bearable. Night buffet was surprisingly nice, with great variety and good quality. Breakfast was also great, the toaster was broken tho. I recommend just to make a quick stop but can’t recommend if you plan to stay for several days.

The hotels and grounds and pool are truly beautiful. We stayed here two separate nights. In different rooms located in totally different locations within the hotel. First night stay was very quiet. When we returned for our second night stay a few days later. Our room was located near the disco! It was so loud! All night long! I got No sleep that night. The food is subpar at best. Everything was cold! Even though some was being cooked on the spot. Nothing special. Both rooms were dirty, smelly in need of major remodeling.

So close to being brilliant. Pros: The food is incredible, and the public areas of the hotel such as the lobby and the bar are beautiful, the bar also has a very nice atmosphere. The pool is also great, if a touch cold. The staff were friendly and helpful. Cons: The rooms are very dated. Comfortable enough, but nowhere near up to the standard that you expect when arriving at the hotel. Housekeeping also seemed to be chaotic, sometimes we had 3 towels, sometimes we had none, sometimes our bed was made, sometimes not.

Horrible service. They charge you extra for things you did not use. Unfriendly staff. Do not recommend.

Where do I even start... Maybe with the few good things. Checkin was easy, they (kinda) spoke english. The food at the breakfast was eatable. The pool is huge but not heated. Now to the (many) bad things: My room: The climate control only worked when I set it on the heating option. Cooling was broken. My bed was not properly cleaned and had way to small bed sheets. Luckily I brought a sleeping bag. The bathroom looked like it was cleaned at the first glance, but when closer inspected it was even worse. The cups to wash your mouth were not cleaned, the bathtub had some stains on it and the shower curtain was not big enough to "protect" the bathroom. The shower head was also broken. The hotel itself: The corridors have a carpeted floor that was wet at some spots and generally looked like it has to be replaced. The whole complex is nicely seated in between of the ruins of some other hotels and clubs. The beach is in an abysmal state. There is dirt everywhere and we were warned not to wander off too far because there are aggressive dogs roaming the streets and beaches. Bites apparently occur weekly. It's really hard to get anywhere because of the location of the hotel. Also it's hard to get taxis, especially during the rush hours. TLDR: Don't go there. The rooms are dirty, the beach is dirty. The surrounding area sucks. The Beach sucks.

I was there for a workshop. Nice hotel, pool area and lobby. Only had lunch, asiatic food and show cooking was really good. Everything else missed taste. Good pastry and choice of fruit. Missing spoons on the buffet. You always had to find a waiter to bring you one for your soup or ice-cream. I did not like the smoking in front of the conference room during the coffee breaks, as there was no fresh air.

Reception staff lovely, food excellent, cleaners coming to clean rubbish. It's in a secluded area, can't go without taxi, thell charge you double what hotel says it will cost. Hotel nice from outside, rooms are nothing wow.

This is a 1 star hotel. Everything is very bad except the pool. Everything is dirty and smells very bad. Furniture is a disaster! Stinky and very old, plus that the AC is just acting like its on, but in real its like being inside an oven.

The hotel rooms are so old and smell real bad. Also issue in the bathrooms plumbing the hotel never been renovated within 30 years. I stayed in this hotel I thought it was gonna be a five-star hotel but it’s not even three star.

Avoid, completely surrounded by discos, bars with very loud music all night til early morning. It's a 3* hotel by western standard, not a 5*.

i changed rooms 5 times in 5 days because the first room smelled like pee, dirty stains on bed sheets, not vacuumed room. Even in the Business rooms there was a clump of hair in the bathtub and they claimed they had just cleaned it. the staff at the reception were very unpleasant, I don't know the language well, they mocked me and were very annoyed because I didn't understand what they said. The breakfast was one of the most horrible I have ever seen. I asked to speak to a manager but didn't and they questioned me when I said yes it smelled like pee and my sheets were dirty. The only nice people about the hotel were the security guards and the rest of the staff and managers were very very unpleasant. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL. VERY DIRTY. and scolds customers.

The worst hotel I ever stayed in. Very dirty. Smells bad. I have videos of bugs inside my room and around the hotel. Found garbage underneath the bed and in corners of my room. I paid for a superior room, which shouldve been a premium experience. They made us wait an hour to check in because our room wasn't ready. The staff would only do their jobs if tipped. The pool was dirty and had napkins floating in it.There was no hot water for one day, which we were not notified of until we tried to shower and called the front desk to complained. The only time my room was cleaned the room was when we complained, and had to show proof of bugs from our videos.

Stay was ok. Housekeeping was fine if they actually cleaned the room. They didn’t service our room everyday. Sometimes they would ask to clean our room as late as 7pm, at which point we just declined. Not sure if that’s normal here - for us it was very inconvenient. Fresh towels were rare. Between 1pm and 6pm it’s nearly impossible to get food at the hotel as only one restaurant is technically open; which actually just means the door is open but there isn’t any staff working. (Unless you’re willing to wait for about an hour for someone to come over) The food is good if you are able to get any. Room service is supposedly available when the main restaurant is closed. However it’s rare they pickup the phone. If they do, they may hang up on you or never bring your order. It’s impossible to find bottled water, or have it brought to your room. Overall the facilities are nice. The front desk is pleasant, but the value just isn’t there. Wouldn’t recommend.

It was okay overall, not 5 stars standards though! And they wouldn't let delivery people enter the hotel you have to go all the way to the main gate to get your delivery, whether it's food or gifts. Thank you very much for your reply. I actually talked to 3 of your staff regarding this, and they kept telling me this is Hotel policy and we can’t change it. My room was quite far from entrance, and I had a leg injury I couldn’t go to the main gate each time, it was really frustrating.

Rude staff. I had two glasses in my room from the bar. Next day barman got aggressive with me insisting I had to bring the glasses back to the bar. Tried to explain that the cleaners had cleared them but he remained aggressive and would not listen. Reported this but felt no one was interested. Do not expect a 5 star hotel experience.

Nice hotel near La Marsa with large pool and across the beach. I like the larger room and bathroom. Staff was friendly. The buffet meals were excellent with diversity and quantities.

This is my second stay at El Mouradi Gammarth Hotel- Tunis. In all honesty, I was impressed by the high level and respectful treatment I received from Mrs.Radhia and all the staff at front disk , starting from the ease of procedures at the reception of the hotel to the care I received from the assistant Manager, Abdelkader Khalifa. My reservation was for five days with a full board system and the meals were varied and the food overall was very generous and excellent as well as the swimming pool and the services around it were very enjoyable and The beach is 100 meters away from the hotel. All hotel staff were friendly and eager to provide all the services I needed. The price for all these distinguished services and the wonderful location was very excellent compared to the neighboring hotels.

Bedroom - dated, filthy, dusty. Housekeeping doesn't clean the rooms, just makes your bed. Carpets are musky and dirty. They don't vacuum the carpeted room during my 1 week stay here. Bathroom - Does not have exhaust/ventilator. So don't wet the floors. They only provide one small floor towel. Door is old and has evidence of water rot at the bottom. This is because there isn't a floor drain if water flows in the bathroom. So don't wet your floors! Shower - The shower head was faulty. The water came out from all sides of the shower head base. Water pressure is fair. Towels - They take your towels real quick but don't replace until later. They get the number of towels wrong and I have had to keep asking reception for an extra towel for the 2 of us in the room. They also do this replacement till very late. People don't shower at 8pm. There are no face towels or hand towels. No tissues either. Storage space - Great, enough for a week's stay for 2 persons. There isn't a ironing board and iron. There is a safe in the cupboards too. Power outlets - enough, but to be safe, byo extensions to power your items. Amenities - no provisions of dental kits, shaving kits. Only round soap, 2 small bottles of shower gel and shampoo. No cups / glasses for the vanity counter nor for room usage. There isn't a kettle in the room for hot water either. No room slippers either. There wasn't a remote control for the TV either. Had asked for this for 3 days during my 1 week stay and they didn't sort it out. Keycard - They only provide 1 keycard per room. Phone - You wont know the number to call becos there isn't a directory. Don't visit if you expect 5-stars because it isn't. The rooms and service need a lot of work!

Nice hotel but Dishonest Staff I forgot my shirt with 1650 USD in my pocket in the wardrobe of room 2045 but realised It only after we checked out the next morning for my 5 night tour of Tunisia. I called the hotel reception immediately and they assured me they had found it and would hand it over to me when I returned to the hotel on the last night of the tour. However when I contacted the reception after returning , they drew blank faces and told me that the shirt and the contents could not be found. Dishonest.

The hotel staff was extremely rude with the housekeeping not even knocking on the doors before barging in despite the do not disturb sign on the door. Our towels were taken by them one morning when we weren’t in the room and we didn’t get any back despite repeatedly asking for 3 days. Then on the day of departure they accused us of stealing the towels and wouldn’t leave until I told them to go look through our stuff if they didn’t believe me. The toilet in our room was leaking so the bathroom was always flooded with water and it was disgusting. The music of the clubs was extremely loud at night and made it really difficult to sleep. I don’t recommend going there, one of the worst stays I ve hard by far and I m definitely never coming back.

This was my 4th visit in many years. Lots have changed since my last stay in 2017. The Positive: All staff are all very nice. The hotel reception had a makeover. The Buffet food is ok, plenty of choices. They have a fabulous indoor pool and hanman. The main outdoor pool is massive with plenty of chair. The beauty salon could do with a good makeover. The excutive room are really nicely decorated and spacious. I had no issue with housekeeping during my stay. The negative: First night I stayed in a "normal" room. It looks and feel old all around. And needed a proper good clean! The mattress was like a brick! It was defo not to 5 star standard. The noise level at night was unbearable!! The hotel is now surrounded by nightclubs! From 11.30pm to about 5am!! It is an absolute nightmare if you are a light sleeper!! Those clubs were not there back in 2017 😞. I was unable to get a good night sleep the whole time. The food at the italian restaurant was pretty blend! Not worth paying extra for it. The room service food is terrible ! Don't bother! Dont order a "Croque Monsieur "! The wifi is unreliable depending where you are at the hotel. This hotel is a 3 Star in a real world! Nowhere near 5 star. This is definitely my last visit there. I like my sleep! 😶

I will only write about critical points to help people who read this make a better choice... A considerably large hotel in Gammart, but an old one that is hardly maintained. First thing you notice is the lack of a slipper for the toilet, which is not very odd in Tunisian hotels, as they try very hard to cut down on costs slipper included, so you are forced to step on the floor, the first thing you feel is the gross stickiness of it which sends chills down your spine reeking of how dirty the floor is, fortunately you can throw the towel on the floor and start skiing over it to avoid direct contact with the floor. Next day up, when the cleaner comes they usually take dirty towels including the floor one and they have a tendecy to forget to put new ones in, so you start ballet dancing trying to make minimal contact with the petri dish of a floor. If you place your laundry in the laundry bag and place it on the table, its going to have to wait 2 days and talk to 3 different staff to be remembered and taken to the laundry and then 2 days to actually have them cleaned. So in short if you want some clothes cleaned put them in the bag and expect them 4 days later, also dont forget to remind all staff you find in your way otherwise add 1 extra day. If you do not have your own mobile internet while in the room you are only going to have access to internet 4 or 5 seconds per minute. Coming to the resturant, the food is good most days, with good varieties, only once you go to pour a cup of water and find cockroaches decorating the cups you feel a sudden urgency to puke and spill your guts out in disgust. Horrible story short, it was a very bad experience, you would expect a 5 star service in a five star hotel only end up with 1 star service, therfore not worthy of more than a 1 star rating.

I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you’re black. I had the worst experience, I think only 2 of the staff members were actually nice and listened, the rest were rude or just ignored me. Aside from my bed being laid the rooms weren’t cleaned, this includes the bathtub and sink. I’m still confused as to how it is claims to be a 5-star hotel.

Clean rooms. Nice stuff. The food is the same everyday, but it is a nice variety. Near the beach, clean pool.

Very old Hotel they need a Renovation. We were there for 2 nights and we couldn't sleep because of the Nightclubs that party until early in the morning. This Hotel is not suitable for families with children. Rooms are very old and dirty. Wifi doesn't work. Way too overpriced for these conditions. I never stayed in a so bad Hotel. Far away from a 5-star Hotel
