My favourite H&T store, a commendably professional outfit from top to bottom. John, the manager here, has solved countless problems for me over the years and has always left me smiling as I leave with my purchase. A genuinely excellent retail experience. Can't recommend it enough.

They looked after their customers throughout the (covid 19) lock down and even provided an online service, constantly upgrading their service to meet the needs and demands of the customers. I went to the Chalk Farm branch where I met the lovely Rhina, Joanna & Aurora. They were extremely helpful and friendly throughout the whole process. As a struggling student, I didn’t know how or where to raise some money. After speaking to the team they walked me through how I could pawn an item in my possession. They gave me an amount that I was looking for and I will definitely come again if the occasion arises! Thanks again :)

I had the worst experience ever I was trying to buy a ring for my daughters birthday the ring was on sale as soon as they saw my interest to buy it the seller said oh let me check something he went to his manageress and said that someone made a mistake and put the ring on sale and told me if I wanted to buy it I have to pay the full price and not the price it was displayed on the window and the manageress excuse was that they are busy and she didn't spot the mistake and there was only one customer in the store I made a complaint to the company and the seller who was serving me was absolutely no experience and very poor customer service It felt like a scam as I was trying to purchase the ring and they were trying to scam me and make me pay the wrong amount I have never experienced such a bad customer service and unprofessional behaviour I will never shop in H&T pawnbrokers ever again please beware before you anything from them.

I came in to sell gold I got them as wedding gifts 14 years ago. I was expecting 300 for the weight of the gold. The girls at Chalk Farm Rhina And Aurora were sooo good at their job they told me it was diamonds and they sent pictures somewhere and they said 1115. I was not expecting that!
