I keep buying from Suzi because she has such a beautiful eye and great taste in the products she stocks, and the suppliers she supports.

By far the best shop in Scotland for unique gifts and crafts. So difficult to leave without presents for yourself. Suzi has such an eye for the perfect thing, whether pottery, artwork, jewellery, beautiful soaps and salts. Everything made in Scotland and she knows each of the creators personally.

First time here and what a great find! Everything for sale is made by Scottish people some very local to the area and what a lovely selection of different things. Quite unexpectedly I spotted some art work by someone from my local village (Kilbarchan) so of course I had to buy it! I'm delighted! Had a lovely chat with the owner who was so friendly and helpful. Sunshine No. 1 is a gorgeous wee shop. I get all my greetings cards from there, and it's full of beautiful scottish-made items/art. I always go here first to find presents for people that have a story, and that they'll actually like.

Beautiful shop with lots of quirky presents, especially for those people who have everything! Suzi is a ray of sunshine and so knowledgeable about where all the items come from. You always get a wee story about where it was made and who the maker is, she is so personable and alway makes the shopping experience enjoyable. Highly recommend!

I would give this lovely hidden gem of a place 10* if I could. Can't sing her praises enough. So helpful and very friendly. Shop is well stocked with all Scottish (many Glasgow made gifts (a lot local) If you are looking for ideas to send abroad this is the place to go.

This is my go to place for unique gifts and cards in my neighbourhood. Suzi is great at hunting down Scottish crafters for things to suit different budgets. I love browsing Sunshine No.1 but the trick is not to keep gifts that were meant for someone else! 🥰

Sunshine No.1 has been brightening up the corner in mount florida for a number of years now. It is the number one place for all your wee gifts, cards, prints, hand made stuff, jewellery and other artisan paraphernalia. The owner Suzie has a great eye for "stuff" and is always super friendly and helpful to the point of even advising me where to get exactly what I was looking for in another shop! If you walk by and see anything in them window displays that grabs your attention, pop in and have a look around. Sunshine No.1 is an asset to Mount Florida (and beyond). Love it.

This fantastic wee shop is full of amazing jewellery, artwork, cards, candles etc made by Scottish businesses. Susie is just wonderful and will go out of her way to help. It's always a pleasure to pop in to her wee shop for a snoop and a friendly face. Once a month Eyedresser (opticians) have a pop up shop within Sunshine No1. Michael has the most wonderful and original frames for your next set of specs. Wonderful service
