Disappointed in the staff. There was a lady who had just bought kick scooters for her children. It's only by trying it for a few seconds in store that they discovered the item had the wrong height. The staff refused to take it back even though it was obvious the item was faulty from the start. Staff blamed the lady for picking the wrong size and telling her they couldn't take it back, pretexting it was used. Disingenuous on the staff part. And in the meantime, other staff members were watching instead of processing pending orders including mine. Very unprofessional.

Just collected a wireless charger. I wouldn't recommend that branch to anyone. Staff unpleasant, when asked if I could try charger before I leave - two ladies was astonished that I asked that. When I was trying to connect charger to one of the sockets available on the floor (they binned my box for just newly item while I was at the store) 2 sockets didnt work at all which I pointed that out - Elizabeth B said with miserable and pitiful face that they work and she left when I was still standing at the desk (very unprofessional). I found third socket near the window and that one worked - I was happy becasue charger worked. When I went back for my box as I said before they binned. I said that I was right and 2 sockets doesn't work - she just smiled and again walked away. Very, very unproffesional.

There customer services are terrible they don’t help u with anything. There’s an old lady there and she’s so rude. I barely got the chance to say anything before she interrupted me and started causing a scene.

Argos is the original Amazon before the Internet and e shopping was invented, you pick your goods from a catalogue and click a button, pay and voila, you have your goodies. They sell a large variety of different types of goods and the best thing is you get it straight away unlike the Internet where you have to arrange for delivery. This shop is curiously shaped. It sits in a good location and the service is as you would expect

What is the point of a store being all in the warehouse? You order there standing, then pay and then only get it. At least put some items so that people can see and touch it?

Rang the store at 9.45am one morning and no answer until the call ends itself. I hung up and tried again for 10 mins. Useless customer services. Never got through! Tried an hour later.....absolutely useless....whats the point of displaying a phone number on a webpage if no one ever answers it. the call eventually ends itself and rings off....... Ahhhh and I bet no one from Argos replies to this review either.

Very poor service. The standard argos front end is alright. Up until waiting for your order. My wait time of 8 mins was actually 40 despite my order sitting on the conveyer the entire time after it was called to collect. The conveyer staff just seemed to ignore it. Had to ask three times and the server would turn around and then serve someone else each time. The first server pressed order collected on the screen despite the fact i had 30 further minutes of customer neglect to go. Very poor argos.

I have been using the store for years now and there is one woman who serves on the counter who has the worst customer service manner ever (dark hair and glasses usually has a hair band on). I work in retail and pretty much do a similar job as her so I understand the pressure of retail. I am always polite but she is so rude I am amazed she still has a job. I try to avoid it now if I can. I cannie be bothered dealing with people like her so I'll take my money elsewhere.

Staff disorganised and seem a bit clueless. Hopefully they can improve their service before Christmas.

Had part of my click and collect bundle order to pick-up, and saw the store also had the rest of my order that I was told online would have to be picked up two days later. They were so kind and were able to instead let me pick it up that day. The staff ensured I also still received my original discount, as I had to cancel my order for two days later and buy one there. I didn't get their names but the two individuals who helped me absolutely made my day! Well done to the staff here.

I bought a new phone from here through their online service click and collect. The shop was pretty quiet and l was able to get my item in minutes. When In The shop l found money lying on the floor £80 thankfully l was able to find the elderly gentleman who had lost it. Good shop.

You better walk in the store to order don’t order online, I had 2 wrong orders and no full refund on delivery.

"We're on the phone every day from 7am-10pm" only they're really not. Every option bar one is automated and the one that isn't; no-one actually answers anyway. The last few times I've been in this store have been really bad, the staff just don't look like they care at all and don't show any kind of attention when you have a query. I tried using the official Twitter to try and get some assistance and they were just as bad. I doubt I'll be going back to this one.

Good place overall the arcade section was fab. The SAGA technician could not be more kind and helpful. Although the VR had a long queue, its worth the wait. The bowling alley was very good also. But the mini golf was hard to find ones again the SAGA technician directed us to the right place. Special thanks to the SAGA technician for marking our experience better.

Worst Argos I have stepped in on the 3 times I have visited the staff have always been rude like they don’t want to be there I get people don’t like their job but these guys make it so obvious no customer service at all. Wouldn’t recommend if you can goto another Argos

It was a good shop for the people that work in it you go in and go to a computer catoulge and the staff came over to me asked me what I was looking for they typed it in for me and could tell me that how many was left or sold out I got a few gifts and they print out a number on a receipt you get your name put on it and you go to the desk to pay for it then there's a few screens that tell you when you're order will be ready then it tells you to go to a counter when it's ready to take away. It wasn't that long to wait.

Went into this store with my daughter to get light bulbs weren't sure what ones the girl behind counter came right out to help her she went out her way to spend time with her made sure she got the correct bulbs sales assistant was Sam keep up the good work sam your doing a grand job service with a smile which you rarely get

Shopped at Argos for the first time. Everything was great except the computers are so slow. It would be a much more happier experience if the computers were more responsive. But overall great prices and lovely staff!

Argos Stockwell street Staff are very helpful, can be large cues but if you go at quieter times you'll avoid them, usually mornings and half an hour before closing are very quiet. 2 main entries.. One which has 2 steps and the other has no steps so therefore would be wheelchair accessible. They have screens in store for you to browse the stock they have or stock from other Argos stores and allows you to reserve an item to pick up the next day. All in all a great shop with friendly and helpful staff.

Had to wait ten minutes to be served when collecting my Argos Fast Track order. The whole point of this service is that I can turn up, collect my order straight away then leave. Simple, effective and efficient for customers but only if the staff have the diligence and the common sense to come over and man the still when you have clearly been standing there for ten minutes... I'd recommend popping in first thing in the morning while it is quiet as you should get seen to right away.

Bought two laptops from them, neither lasted a year. Now contacting them after trying washing machine got from them yesterday which isnt working. Learned my lesson now, will never purchase from Argos again.

As it's coming up 2 Christmas expect it to be very busy with quite long waiting times
