Fantastic little restaurant. The food is fragrant, tasty and very reasonably priced. It's also a very welcoming and friendly place. Try the mango lassi!

Truly amazing food. Couldn't ask for a better meal! We love everything we ordered and love the attention to details. You could taste the love and care the chef has put into their cooking. I would definitely say one of the best curry houses I have ever been to. The owner is super friendly and is a great host. Highly recommended!!!!

I just can't fault a thing! I've been multiple times now and love the people and the food. The place itself has a cosy and homely feel! Nice and healthy Indian meals! The Lassi's are my favourite!

If you like traditional Indian food then make sure you go here! Absolutely amazing food and so many flavours and spices. Could go here every night! A must have is the bread starter, the dumplings and also the mango bombs starter, they are possibly the best starters I've ever had anywhere

Stunning and authentic North Indian food cooked and served by lovely and friendly knowledge staff. It was our first visit tonight and we will definitely be returning very soon. My hubby eats meat and I am vegan and the choices available for both our dietary needs was impressive.

Firstly the staff, they are lovely, informative and attentive. The food we had was incredible. Both vegetarian and meat dishes were full of flavour and well portioned. For four of us we had plenty of food and drink but we didn't come away feeling heavy and full. Just enough. This was our second time coming and we will continue to come because the food is delicious and the price is fair.

Super friendly staff, very relaxed environment, music level perfect. Loads of Bollywood memorabilia around. Food was fantastic, best samosa I've ever had and the butter chicken was perfect. Highly recommended. Thumbs up cola also gets a thumbs up from me

This is a very small restaurant, similar to a small coffee shop. The decor is vibrant and has an Indian jungle energy about it. Me and my partner chose from the meat section of the menu, it was such a let down honestly because the size of the chicken pieces and lamb pieces were so tiny and it felt like they had strictly counted how many they put it, it was a shockingly stingy amount especially for the price. The sauce of both curries was very watery, the butter chicken lacked flavour but the lamb dish was quite tasty. The starters were much nicer and I enjoyed those for example the mo Mo's, very flavoursome. I wouldn't return unfortunately and do think it's a bit overpriced for what it is but good luck to the owners who seem pretty proud of what they have accomplished so far.

AMAZING FLAVOURS! 10000% WOULD RECOMMEND. We only spent one night in Sheffield and so we were hoping to get dinner somewhere really nice. The owner was able to accommodate us and give us a table despite how booked and busy it was. Quite an intimate restaurant filled with so many Indian memorabilia and decorations that really made the atmosphere 🤍 The Dahi Puri was hands down the best thing I had. It was bursting with flavours!!! Every dish we ordered were great, so warming and went really well with the paratha and rice. The wait was pretty long to get our food but to be honest, with only 2-3 staff members (2 being the owners), you can’t really blame them. The quality and flavours are too amazing to not visit this place. Thank you again! Hope to visit again some time soon 😍

Love this place. It’s run by a young and passionate couple from India and is the most authentic tasting Indian food I have yet found over here. It’s a world away from the standard Anglo-Bangladeshi fayre that most “Indian” restaurants across the U.K. offer. It takes me back to my time in Delhi/North India; a rich and vibrant pallet of flavours and healthy and well balanced overtones. The vegan/vegetarian is well catered for here too. I was in York this afternoon and felt blessed that a split train ticket meant I could hop off and train and take the short walk up the hill from Sheffield station to have another excellent meal. Oh and I always order a cup of black chai to go with the meal, a real taste of India. Many thanks and see you again soon.

Been twice now. Food incredible both times. The Dasi Pura are a must have as a starter. Have had the dhal and the lamb curry as mains, both were brilliant. Definitely worth upgrading the meals to a Thali if you do visit

Amazing food. The owners are so pleasant and knowledgable. The food is delicious and there are tons of vegan and gluten free options. I walked a half an hour for a vegan Lassi and I would do it again in a heart beat. Must try!!!!

There's a reason this place is so highly rated - the food is great and the service is impeccable! The man serving was so lovely. He took me through the whole menu without me even asking, which saved me some embarrassment 😂. They were mostly vegan food, even the lassi has a vegan option - which I highly recommend. I ate there by myself and didn't feel a tiny bit awkward about it, he made me feel very welcomed. It's nice and cosy and isn't too loud, just some nice music playing.

Food was amazing, extremely flavourful! The owner explained how the menu works, explained the dishes, spice level etc. There are low amounts of seating, so you 100% should book before going! Can't wait to go again!

Friendly and cosy atmosphere. Very small place so expect to wait for a bit. But everything is worth the wait. Food was amazing and they have the best spiced chai milk shake ever, highly recommend 🤩

Absolutely loved it! Not many Indian Restaurants in UK do the kind of food that's really Indian. I found 5Tara was one who did the authentic Indian food.. From the choice of menu to the serving and plating.. everything was very authentic. Like the taste, atmosphere and the host as well! Would definitely recommend especially to Indians who haven't been here.

The food is of absolute high quality and tastes delicious. I had a chocolate lassi (I had never tried lassi before) and it was truly amazing. I would highly recommend this restaurant. The staff is super friendly and will help you to understand the menu. They also make sure if they are cooking according to your diet.

Service was more like 4.5/5 only busy the place was quite busy we didn't get that much time with the server to get to ask for water and had to flag him down a few times for the bill. However, the food greatly made up for it and as the place was busy and it was only really the owner and one of the staff member so it wasn't too bad. The food service itself was quick and we managed to get starters and mains in the space of 45 minutes. I was unaware this restaurant has only been open for under 2 years but has outstanding food with a lot of options both veggie, vegan and meat eater friendly. The drinks were very nice a wide range of indian drink options I have never tried/even heard of before. I would HIGHLY recommend booking a table before going as there are limited tables.

We discovered this amazing place via a Google search when visiting Sheffield for a gig. What a find! A temptingly tasty selection of carefully chosen dishes that bring the feel-good experience of the Indian home kitchen to Sheffield. This family-run restaurants offers a great selection of old favourites and more unusual dishes and a strong selection of options for vegetarians and vegans as well as meat eaters. They also offer an impressive selection of non-alcoholic drinks from Lassis to smoothies and Indian sodas. I would not hesitate in recommending a visit - it will certainly be on our list next time we're in Sheffield.

Had some really authentic street food at this cosy restaurant. Really excellent service and would definitely recommend, as the food is quite close to what you’d find in India. They also have a great snack selection to choose from.
