It's a renovated version of an "old school" Omaha spot. The theme is British and the place looks pretty cool. We got breaded shrimp and sausage rolls as appetizers. The fried shrimp was amazing - you can tell it's hand breaded to order and it's fairly large. The sausage rolls are good but different - you have to remember - British, so the sausages are somewhat bland and the dough is light and flaky. Still tasty, especially dipped in the spicy mustard. For our meals we ordered both "World Famous" items on the menu - the Reuben and the Fish & Chips. The Fish & Chips were good - cod, hand dipped in batter and properly cooked. The Reuben was also good, but fair warning - they don't make their own corned beef - they just slice it there. Both items were good, but I doubt they're "World Famous" and definitely not what made this place a staple in the Omaha food scene before the renovation and new ownership. We were in a hurry for the Creighton game, so no time for dessert. Our server was nice and attentive - she did only have two tables. She made good suggestions and the food came out ina timely fashion and was definitely fresh and hot.

The food we had was excellent and the service was great! We will definitely come back again for the pretzels because it was so delicious! Big Easy sandwich, Gouda Mac N Cheese and the salad were exceptional too! I don't know what this place looked like before but the atmosphere was open and nice.

Tried the world famous fish & chips and it did not disappoint. 🐟 Love the space; so large and cozy and classy. Totally appreciate the British theme, too.

Open since 1934. We had the blue crab balls appetizer, worldwide famous fish and chips and the Reuben. All the food was amazing. Nice lil place. Waiter was very friendly and attentive.

We visited here twice and enjoyed both times. Chicken fried chicken with bacon gravy & a healthy vegetable yummy!! The pretzel appetizer is good to us. We like the fresh ground mustard!

I thought this was going to be some local dive bar...it wasn't!!! In a little main street like part of town. The food was really good. We started with pretzels and shared the boarding house salad and reuben. Cute place on the inside, cozy booths, nice lighting. Service was good and attentive without being intrusive. Clean bathrooms. Love this place!

Their scotch flights are to live for! Paul has incredible knowledge about different types of whiskey and it's been so enlightening to get to try different kinds of whiskey from different locations around the world!

Went in on Wednesday to meet up with friends for a noon lunch. It wasn’t that busy yet, and you were able to seat yourself. We ordered some crab poppers as an appetizer for the four of us, which were delicious! However, I thought the portion size would have been a bit bigger. Their wagyu burger was great, and the bacon add-on made it even better! I’ve never been disappointed with a cocktail here or in their bar The Pine Room. Looking forward to coming back & trying out more of their food and drinks.

Nashville chicken sandwich on their happy hour menu is a must try! Unlike most other places that simply throw some hot sauce on a piece of chicken, Dell's is well seasoned, crispy and spicy! I've been here several times and liked everything. Service is great too.

Sad update: Ate my last meal there today. After tomorrow, this icon is gone forever. I will always remember the amazing food, staff and atmosphere. My only regret is that I could have come here years ago. This place will always have a special place in my heart. Goodbye Dell. #closeshucksinstead I can't say enough good things about this iconic place. The food is wonderful, the staff is friendly, the ambiance is welcoming. No wonder they have been in business for so long.

Interesting drinks and a really good cottage pie made for a good meal here. They served our group of 9 easily, none of us had complaints about the food or the service 😁

Fish and chips were great! Decent beer selection. I had an old fashion too it was ok but I might just stick to beer here. I’ll definitely be back!

I've visited Dundee Dell 4 or 5 times now and have had a great experience each time. Their menu recently changed to include a few new items, one of which is fried calamari. I'm a big fan of calamari, and I'm happy to report that I was very impressed! I loved it! I usually can only eat calamari when they're in the ring shape as I don't like the tentacle version, and fortunately, these are the ring version. I also had their wagyu burger and fries, which were also very good. Their food portions are much bigger than expected (even for something as simple as a salad). The size of their fried chicken sandwich is unbelievably large. You've been warned! Service was also top notch. Fortunately, I've managed to eat there at a time when they weren't too busy, so the staff weren't bouncing around trying to attend to a ton of guests at the same time. No complaints whatsoever. This is one of my favorite non-chain restaurants!

First time eating here and it did not disappoint. I've had several friends suggest this place to me and suggest I try the fish and chips. I myself didn't try it but there will always be next time. This place is a little hole in the wall. If I didn't have a friend suggest it I would have never been able to see it. The inside has unique character but is a little outdated. The table I sat at was sticky from a removal of sticker or something originally covering the table. The menu stood out to me for being so little. There are more beers to choose from than items on the menu. A good option they did have was build your own burger. I asked for my burger well done and it was still slightly pink on the inside but you could taste the char and overcookedness on the outside. They had a bunch of different appetizers I can't wait to go back and try. But unfortunately there was no items on the menu that are calling my name to be eaten. The service here was excellent but the food was just alright. I would eat here again if a friend suggested it but I would never come back again on my own cravings.

It totally misses the cozy vibe you got from the OG Dundee Dell. It feels pretty sterile, and MAN do they crank up the lights, leaving absolutely no ambiance whatsoever. Both cocktails were extremely sweet and the candy garnish didn't help their cause. Maybe dim the lights and add candles to the tables for some much needed warmth and intimate vibes. Also more vegan options please!

Excellent food and service. The fish was perfectly crispy without feeling oily. The homemade tartar sauce was out of this world delicious. I even dipped my fries in it, it tasted so herby and fresh.

Would like to give it 5 stars, but it's just too expensive. The beer selection is extremely limited compared to other places with a similar menu/price range. Had the wagyu pimento cheese sliders & they were absolutely delicious. However, they are only available during happy hour. So, I would totally recommend visiting the Dundee Dell during happy hour for discounted drinks & some of the best sliders I've ever had.

The Dundee Dell under new ownership is doing a fabulous job upholding the legendary name of the Dundee Dell. The fish & chips are just as good as ever, if not better - perfect crunch on the outside and a smooth buttermilk flavor, not greasy in the slightest. We also tried the sausage bites rolled in croissant dough - great appetizer with creamy mustard!

Our kids really like this restaurant so we went on line to order a gift dinner for them to go. The on line ordering is not for the menu as it was set up for a fundraiser. One has to call the order in. Still very smooth.

Great selection of whisk(e)y. Very eager staff to share recommendations. Good food (on the food side). Expensive! (Hence 4 stars and not 5)

Dundee Dell was delicious! We've been all over Europe and these Fish and Chips rival a lot of the places, even in the UK! We also had the Chicken Tikka Masala and I was sooo pleasantly surprised! Indian is my favorite food and this really is delicious, and I highly recommend it! The only thing I would add would be a side Naan! The decor is adorable and the staff are lovely too! Everyone should check it out. ❤️

Food was great as always buy our service was absolutely awesome. Ashley was attentive and there for us when we needed it even when it was absolutely hectic. Service was 10/10 and the food was even better. If more places has servers like Ashley, there would be no problems left in the food industry. Will definitely be back.

My husband and I had dinner here recently. I had the Tuscan Kale salad and he had fish and chips. Our food and drinks were very good, particularly the "Farmer in the Dell" cocktail!

Food was good, I ordered something that I shouldn't have but the rest of my family enjoyed the food a lot. Love the new build out.

One of the best scotch collections I've seen, and quite reasonably priced. Great craft cocktails, and a pleasant atmosphere. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. Would highly recommend.

Great pie and service from Mathew but after further review and after telling Matthew my girl and I are both servers elsewhere and he did a good job he went pompous on us and acted like he was busy witch he was not. Cost and service did not match the atmosphere or neighborhood.

First time back since the reopen. Pub food at nice dining prices. Every meal costs $3-$7 more than it should. Ex: $8 for 1 (smallish, think chicken tender size) piece of fish and fries, $15 for the 3 piece. Decent iced tea.
