👍 I had 1 taco El pastor and 2 tacos lengua and I will say the lengua tacos are some of the best I have had In awhile, atmosphere only 3 stars only because it is a food pod but have cover from the sun and places to sit and enjoy your food. Service was great and greeted with a smile. People often mention tacos, delicious, tortillas, mole, taco, great, order, time, ordered,

This is a great place to pickup some really good food and the service is great too. The taco’s are amazing, the blue tortillas are so nice and soft. The flavors are really good with all the different meats. I really like sitting outside on a nice summer day with the sun out. I would recommend this place.

We tried several tacos with the freshest tortillas and guisados. The mole amarillo was delicious and the nopalitos were perfectly cooked! I especially love the tetela de frijol! I’m looking forward to trying their tlayudas and empanadas next time.

I'm Oaxacan and this was Oaxacan food. Blue corn tortillas, Oaxacan cheese, homemade mole and black beans, man I was in heaven. I say try this place out when you can. I got a quesadilla with carnitas (braised pork) and I couldn't help myself and ate half of it before taking a picture. My husband got the mole coloradito and he had a smile the whole time eating the dish. I would say stop by for some exquisite food.

Great plate. For $15 +20% tip, it was priced like other plates in its vicinity. While delicious, I prefer the flavors and textures at other Mexican restaurants like Poblano Pepper, Clandestino, or La Sierra better.

The tortillas are so fresh and authentic. We ordered tacos and quesadilla and we loved the quesadilla de chorizo so much we ordered another to go. We asked if we can order just the corn tortillas to take home and they sold us a dozen. Tacos were okay, chicken and carnitas were dry.

Great chicken mole rice and beans plate! Mushroom quesadilla was great but would have like more clarification that mushrooms come in the veggie option! They have a lot of meat options so check those out!

Took a while to get our food but it was well worth the wait and clearly cooked from scratch. We ordered two different mole dishes and found them both to be superb with complex and unique flavor profiles. This is one of the better food carts I have been to in portland and would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a Oaxacan experience. My only recommendation would be to cook the chicken breast a little less. It came out somewhat dry. Not a huge issue though because of the excess of mole to eat it with. We took home some of the homemade tortillas for dinner.

Tierra del Sol is one of the few trucks in the lot with excellent food, yet I opted to order something simple yet refreshing. I have the pina-mango agua fresca, which deviates from the typical jamaica or horchata. To my relief, I found it to be a refreshing citrus drink with the right amount of accompanying sweetness. I'd return to try their food in the future.

The tacos Al pastor were so gooooooood! I also got the mango Juanitos (always amazing). There was plenty of seating and it's right next to some other food trucks and a mercado. If you've never been to a mercado. Go! They have a great selection of marinated meats. Till next time! Cheers 🌮🌮

Incredible find!! Loved the mole Amarillo, full of flavor!! The rice was burned or maybe reheated too many times so that was a bummer. But honestly the best dish I had in Portland. Friend got a veggie taco and said it was the best. Mole verde was also so delicious. Tried the mango pineapple drink and it was great. Parking was decent. Found a spot right in front because people come and go often.

My favorite place in Portland! I'm from Oaxaca and this place is on point. I've introduced my parents to this place and they absolutely love it. The flavor is authentic and the salsa are fantastic.

My friend and I chose this food truck for our lunchtime taco date and so glad we did! She came down from Portland and I, from Beaverton and we wanted to find something close to Clackamas Shopping Center/Promenade. A number of things we liked: 1) Portion sizes: HUGE. At $3/taco, they're a little more than your $1.50 street taco but the portions are seriously big and they do not skimp on the meat and toppings. They also use fajita size blue corn tortillas and give you sauces and lime wedges with the tacos. We each ordered 3 for ourselves around 1pm and were still full from them at dinner time. 2) Prices: Very reasonable. You get great value for what you pay. 3) Parking: ample parking in connected, free parking lot, and street parking as well. 4) Ambiance: Initially driving into the Foster neighborhood, my first impression was that it was a bit sketchy but this block seemed safe and lively with new development around it. Next to the food trucks there is also a South American grocery store and two restaurants with a bar. Lots of picnic tables in the seating area and overall pretty clean. We ordered the asada, pollo, carnitas and al pastor tacos and they were all delicious, but my favorite was the al pastor. Super juicy and well marinated. Wasn't hugely impressed by the guacamole in the chips and guac (was expecting more chunkiness and ingredients like cilantro, onion, tomato etc but it was on the plain side). Also got some fried plantains from the food truck on the opposite end. Made for a delicious and filling lunch! Google maps for some reason don't show all the other food trucks right next to it (I think there were about 5-6) but there are plenty of options if you want to sample a few different trucks.

Nice presentation and decent food. The black bean mash was good and the hot sauce was okay, but the chorizo was dry and the tortilla was mushy and hard to eat. It also did not fill me up.

Their food is good however they have trouble getting an order right. It has happened some times where what I order and what is given is different. Today was no exception, I ordered 1 asada taco with 1 tetela de lengua and I got a you ge taco and a meatless tetela which tasted horrible without any protein. At the end I only consumed $3.50 of a $15.50 bill. This is extremely disappointing and most likely I wont visit again because of the mistakes in the delivery of the final product, which is a shame.

Holy moly this place is delicious! I got chicken tacos and they were fresh, authentic and mouth watering. The blue corn tortillas were INCREDIBLE, and the mango pineapple drink was real, fresh and completely delicious.

The food is always fantastic and the staff is very friendly! We’re huge fans and we regularly treat ourselves! I love the del Sol bowl with carnitas and my wife loves the same bowl with cactus or mushrooms.

I am so happy to see that Tierra del Sol is still here serving their incredibly authentic and delicious entrées! I usually opt for their tacos which at $3 three each are an extreme bargain because they are packed full of deliciousness (see photos although the pictures do not do them justice) This time we ventured from our normal fare and tried the Empanada de Amarillo. Soooooo moist, flavorful and downright yummy 😋 We also had the Tetala del Frijol. Which is my daughters favorite dish. Speaking of my daughter she is severely allergic to gluten and this she can safely enjoy almost every dish here. Lots of gluten free options!! We paired our delicious dinner with sangria from Barrio! Go visit Barrio. You will not be disappointed!

I wish I could give this place 5 stars because the food is awesome, but the workers seem to be kinda careless. I placed an order for 4 tacos with no onions. Instead I got 3 tacos with onions. I’ve only been here 3 times. The first time a guy was working and my order was correct. The last 2 times I’ve gone it was two ladies and both of those times my order was messed up. I hope they step their game up soon, because I really do like the food.

Visited Portland for a week so I had to stop by during their Empanada Festival. Definitely worth it. A must check out place (alongside the other food businesses).

This cart is awesome. Something for everyone. I love that it is all gluten free. The blue corn tortillas are fresh and amazing. The mole sauce is very flavorful and delicious as well. Seems there are a limited number of vegan options but the dishes I have tried including the mole enchiladas, and veggie tacos all vegan were really good. I will keep coming back and tell my friends.
